Gave them a watch (Seiko) to repair in September 2025. Picked it up in December 2025. Didn't work. Returned it for repair again. Went in several times to pick it up. Often could not immediately locate my watch. FINALLY picked it up in July 2026. 10 months! The watch still does not work! Texted them to let them know. Never heard back from them. Won't take it back again. Wasted my money on the repair. Communications with the customer are poor. Do not go to this company for watch repair! read more

There are so few family owned Jewelry Stores left out there, let alone ones with three generations in the profession and decades of roots in the community. Such are the times we live in. Chains stores BRAG about having a GIA Certified expert on staff, if they can afford one, let alone if they even know what that means! Corporations, more often than not, wouldn't make the investment because of the intensity of the courses and rigorous certification exams required to achieve this highest level of respectability and trust. Little ole Satellite Beach just happens to have an incredibly talented master craftsman in Nunzio, and a GIA Certified Gemologist in Amanda. Just try to find a better team in ANY city. After the center stone of my new engagement ring became loose on a trip to visit my parents in Satellite Beach, I took it to Florentine. When the master jeweler told me he couldn't tighten the prongs because my diamond was so included it might crack, I was shocked. Then he informed me I could one day expect to net "a couple hundred dollars" from a trade-in on the stone, and I was heartbroken. This man led me to doubt my fiance's level of care and concern in selecting my ring. I was appalled and upset. Two days later my fiance and I brought the ring to our neighborhood jeweler (incidentally, they did not sell us the ring and therefore were a neutral party with nothing to gain) and learned the problem was that the tips of one of the prongs had broken off, probably because the ring caught on something. There was no issue with the diamond and the quality of the ring was explained to us in detail and appraised at a price much more in line with what we expected. When my fiance telephoned Florentine to report the offense, the proprietor called him a son-of-a-bitch and hung up on him. read more

I had brought in an emerald that was given to me by a family friend to have set. The stone looked like wet candy, very clear dark green, it had two tiny spots in it. When I returned to pick up the stone in its setting, it was a completely different stone. It was cloudy and fractured. I believe he either broke my stone and tried to give me another one, or he simply just kept my better stone. Either way, I would never, ever go back to them. I have used both Damon's jewelers (192 in Melbourne)or Tony at the Jewelrymaker(veiera)without any problems.. Avoid Florentine. read more

IMHO, it is ABSOLUTELY horrifying that this woman would post such a libelous tale against one of the most respected jewelers in Brevard County. I have been a satisfied customer since 1998. I no longer live in Brevard County however, loyalty has no boundaries. I do not consider bringing my jewelry, clocks, or watches anywhere but to my trusted friends at Florentine Jewelers. Yes, well I just got back from the store and wanted to write those guys a glowing review and am bewildered by this other b.s. review already up. I've known Domenic for many years and can tell you that he and his kids are very respected in the community. I know Dom's never been one to beat around the bush, but from what this girl wrote I think she just misunderstood his broken English. Besides - why would he lie, or imbelish? In this specific "for instance" - the guy had nothing to gain - He just refused to do the work because he didn't want to buy a problem!!! The jeweler who sold it to her is the only one who had anything to gain by lying either way. (I think that review was written by a competing jeweler. ) Anyways - I'm really happy with my experiences there and on this time around Domenic's son made me a custom bezel for an Atocha coin that I have been wanting to do something with; and it is simply spectacular. I just had to do something nice for them because they always do great work for us. If you ask me this is one of the last truly great Mom & Pop's around . The only reason I took a star off is because they really don't have much in the way of designer brands - but the jewelry they have is really nice, and I believe they make a good percentage of it. read more

I took my wedding ring in for a cleaning (did not buy from Florentine), after careful examination was told that the diamond was cracked, because it was put in a setting to small. I was told that they could reset in same setting, but diamond would be smaller to fit in current setting, or they could reset in setting appropriate for diamond size. I decided to have reset in setting appropriate for diamond size, not loosing any of the actual diamond. my ring was sent to different appraiser, who appraised higher than actual cost. Have made several purchases from Florentine, and always happy with jewelry and service. read more

After reading the review above, I am surprised that anyone could write such a thing about Florentine Jewelry in Satellite Beach. I have spent thousands of dollars there throughout my life, and have never met a more honest family. I purchased a beautiful Rolex Datejust there for half of what I should have paid, and had another badly damaged Rolex repaired there, and it was simply beautiful when it was delivered to me. Dominick is a caring friend, and once made a custom ring for me to my exact specifications. When the ring ended up costing more to make and weighing a lot more than planned than I paid upfront, he kept his promise and never tried to change the price on me. I put a piece of jewelry there on layaway and slowly paid it off over time, and he never even charged me interest or bothered me when I would forget to come in and pay on it. I am 30 years old, and bought my first necklace from them when I was 14 years old. I swear by Florentine Jewelers, and the family that runs it, and when I buy a ring to get married, it will be from them. read more
