I sincerely wish I could leave a negative star rating because the grooming team at this location…read moregenuinely earned it. I have a 9-month-old Alaskan Malamute who HAD a gorgeous reddish-brown top coat with a full plumed tail. Her hair WAS long and thick and that tail was luscious. After a rushed - less than 3 hours - grooming experience, I now have a mostly cream-colored puppy with a ratty tail. Her coat is choppily cut and uneven all over which is frustrating since I SPECIFICALLY stated that I did not want her hair cut. I also SPECIFICALLY asked whether the FURminator product - that is advertised as one of their principal tools for de-shedding, - would cut her hair. The groomer assigned didn't know; which was concerning. Another groomer adamantly stated it would ONLY remove the loose hair. Her top coat was not loose hair. Red Flags: 1. There were only small crates and small dogs at this location but the site allowed me to book my puppy's appointment there. 2. The wide eyes and glancing back and forth at each other when they saw how big she is. 3. The groomer was flustered when she saw her and admitted to having difficulty handling her. 4. The groomer was unavailable to release the dog to me leaving that task to the receptionist. 5. Being required to pay before I am allowed to see or pick up my puppy. If this location is not accustomed to/staffed to handle large [breed] dogs - with or without double coats - that should have been clearly articulated when I was checking in. After paying for a bath and finishing spritz, she still stinks. As a consumer, I don't mind paying for services that I can not/don't have the expertise to provide for myself. This is not one of those service and I will be grooming her myself from now on. Why pay someone to do something that I can actually do - and do better - myself? I'm not angry, just disgusted with the glaring lack of knowledge care, and pride in the work. If there's no actual understanding of how to properly groom different coat types, no care in the tools selected/utilized, and no concern for customer outcomes then this is not a service the company should be offering. This is the second time I've attempted to utilize Petco's grooming services and have been left disappointed and waiting for her coat to grow back. There won't be a third time.

If there is ever a problem or Mocha is being picky and doesn't like the food, it's very easy to return here. They are super friendly and remember you here and acknowledge your pet like family as well. I love visiting the cats here too. They are so cute and I always hope someone can take them home soon. Definitely a great place to shop, & get great service with a smile.

Amber and Jeremy treat Chloe like their own dog, and she gets SO excited to see her second family at daycare once a week. They provide a very comfortable home environment with plenty of exercise, rest time, and a LOT of love and affection! My husband and I are very protective over our dog, but we feel at ease knowing that when we need to travel, she will get quality care and attention at Amber and Jeremy's. We also receive regular updates and you can see how happy Chloe is with them and her friends at daycare. In addition to their regular services and phenomenal training programs, they have gone above and beyond by cooking Chloe chicken and rice/providing medicine when she wasn't feeling good, bringing her to my wedding so she can be apart of our photos, and throwing a birthday party for her with all of her friends and a dog-friendly birthday cake. Amber and Jeremy are more than business owners, they have become family to us and know Chloe just as well as we know her. This type of personalized care is not offered at a larger boarding facility so I highly recommend to anyone who wants to feel at ease with their pups in a safe home.

I booked boarding with this provider and paid a $118.83 deposit. Before the stay even began, the…read morecommunication became unexpectedly hostile and unprofessional. The tone and accusations in the messages made me uncomfortable, and I decided it was best to pick up my dogs immediately. No services were ever performed. I requested a refund of the deposit since the stay never started. The business refused, even though nothing was provided. What concerned me even more was that the owner's husband later contacted my husband privately and tried to pressure him into saying the review would be removed in exchange for a refund. We have the full message thread showing this. It was inappropriate and confirmed that I made the right decision not to leave my dogs there. Update: The owner has now responded publicly with claims that are not accurate. No threats were made at any point, and I have the full message history documenting the interaction. The service never began, my dogs were returned immediately, and I requested a refund of the deposit for a service that was not performed. I stand by my review and the documentation I have. This whole situation was stressful and unnecessary. For anyone looking for boarding, I'd recommend choosing a provider who communicates professionally and handles concerns respectfully from the start.

I've never heard of it, but I really wanted to make sure that the dog had somewhere to stay where he would have a good time, be taken care of, and we could trust that when we got him back it would be in the same shape we left him. Pet Paradise is not a one size fit all place. You can definitely customize it to your pups liking. We were able to drop off our own food and leave a note of how much food the dog should have per day. They have a pool for the dogs to play in, an outdoor area where they can interact with the workers, and each dog has its own kennel. You have the option to choose what type of kennel you want, and we opted for the patio one so that Zero (the dog), would have access to indoors and outdoors. We are also able to get his nails clipped, balm applied to his paw pads and his nose, and he got a bath while he was there. We also were able to make sure he got a chicken treat every day! With the online customization option you can definitely have it your way with your pup. We ended up spending about $330 for five days which is so reasonable and we will definitely be using Pet Paradise in the future for our travel needs. Our dog came home with a lot of energy and we were so happy that he was safe.
