Everyone was very professional and quick with their individual duties. I was rushed into cat scan and was immediately in conference video call with a specialist. I was admitted to be observed overnight and continued with a battery of test. Overall I think I was treated by over 50 people on the staff during my stay. My experience was excellent. The food was delicious. The entire staff all the way up to the doctors and video specialist were so caring and helpful. It was a terrific experience except for being scared almost to death. The check in process was easy and fast. The nurse showed true concern for my issue. My wait for Dr. O'Connor was very short. He listened to my concerns. Was thorough and explained what my next steps would need to be clearly and precisely. I even went back for my pre admission testing. Unfortunately, it's not a visit to Marathon without a visit to Urgent Care. But so glad I have found a medical facility and staff that I trust while in the Keys.

It still took a while to be seen. We then had a 1 hour wait at 8:45 when I brought my son back. They are a small facility, they don't have all the fancy gizmos but they do what they can. We got antibiotics and thankfully enjoyed the rest of our visit. I recommend going as soon as they open to minimize the wait. Keep in mind the pharmacies down there don't open until 9 so there was a gap but not their fault. I'd rather wait for the Rx then feel miserable in a waiting room for hours.

I was skeptical and got a second opinion with an ER doctor and an Orthopedic Surgeon whom both stated the injury will simply heal on its own and surgery is not necessary. Dr. Diaz suggested unnecessary surgery to get his friend some business. Disgusting.
