I could not reach my sales rep, or anyone else at the company, over the following weeks to answer basic questions, including confirming a date for my move, which was quickly approaching. Despite their failure to return my calls or contact me to confirm logistics, my credit card company was unable to reimburse me because the contract is written to protect their business and does not clearly address communication requirements. After weeks of no response from SafeShip, I was forced to book another moving company, and I am now pursuing recovery of my deposit through small claims court. When I investigated their business after the fact, I found a large number of similar complaints, including reports filed with the BBB.
