I submitted a claim with Medicare and it was denied since MDS does not have a Medicare Supplier number. Now I'm out a LOT of money! MDS does not "guarantee" that Medicare will pay, but what they should say is that they WON'T pay because they don't participate. If I had know this before I made such a large purchase, I would have ordered the exact same thing for the exact same price from Amazon, where I WOULD have been reimbursed (Plus Amazon would have delivered it to my door for free and not charged me a $200 delivery fee-which MDS does) Silly me for trying to support a local company!

I tried to get a RX filled, and they refused to fill it since i'm from out of town. They told me they weren't allowed to fill it, and never contacted me to let me know. Every other pharmacist in the area told me otherwise and happily filled it. When i pressed the pharmacist for an explanation as to why, I was able to determine that it was her "policy" (vs. an actual "regulation" ) that no other pharmacies in the area had. This situation caused a bit of mess and I almost ran out of my meds. You may want to call ahead if you plan to use this location to make sure the pharmacist "policy" that day will allow you to get your prescriptions.

He sent me a letter stating that he had already contacted my insurance companies and the item wasn't covered under my policy but both insurance companies said they have never received a call or an invoice from this company. When I asked him to bill the companies as the letter stated, he started to scream at me over the phone that he wasn't going to bill my insurance and if I didn't pay the bill he sent me he threatened me. This company is trying to intimidate senior citizens so they will pay him directly. This is a form of fraud. Please don't fall for it!
