I have bought various appliances from Tony since 2011 including 3 sets of washer/dryers and at least 4 refrigerators. I flipped houses and condos and needed them for personal use in each condo or house. Never had an issue with any of them breaking or not working correctly after years of use. We are renting a unit in Siesta Key and our refrigerator went on the blink. Our owner quickly called Tony's to get another one delivered. When Tony walked it, he immediately exploded yelling that he didn't know there was an old refrigerator there. He said he worked alone and couldn't pull it out-stating that it would ruin the floor. He kept cursing non stop while he was talking, seemed extremely hostile and as an older woman, I was a little tense! I told Tony that I was a renter and I quickly called our owner. He took my phone and swore at our owner and wouldn't let him talk. I know our owner paid to haul the old one away, Tony gave me back my phone while the owner was still talking. He yelled "This is bullshit" and stormed out. I was in shock that he would stand there yelling and using obscene language. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere if you don't want to be cussed out. By the way, the old frig was on rollers and easily moved. He never even tried! read more

Avoid this CON MAN! It's hard to overstate how unbelievably unprofessional this man is. I bought a fridge and paid for delivery and to haul away the old one. The owner himself showed up to deliver it. The old fridge, which is on wheels, is a normal size and was only 5ft from the front door. He REFUSED to take the old fridge, saying he works alone and he can't do it. What kind of professional shows up ALONE to remove and deliver a fridge?? But it gets even crazier. Rather than reschedule the delivery when he has a helper (which he should've had in the first place) or leave the new fridge there and let me haul away the old one myself, he became super rude and belligerent and started CURSING at me! He was angry at... ME?! He said, "This is bullsh*t" multiple times, in front of my guests, and then he stormed out - cursing as he went. (No, I was not being in any way rude or heated. I was completely calm and merely said I don't want a refund I want the fridge because the food was spoiling). I suggest this owner take some anger management therapy, hire the proper labor, and stop dealing directly with customers himself. He is clearly not equipped to interact with customers in any way. Terrible service and sold me a washer machine that does not work and said I had electrical issues. So I had electrian come to test and he charged $75 to say it was the washer...finally days later someone comes to look from Tony's and fixes the washer and I am stuck with the $75 bill. I used to buy many things from them as I have rental units but their service is no longer good and i will never use them again for any products or service. read more

One of the women who works in the store was extremely rude and f...wording for absolutely no reason. I walked in to ask if Tony, store manager, will be interested to buy appliances from me, pictures of which I emailed few days previously. This woman said that Tony is out till end of the month. I politely asked if she can simply reach out to Tony and ask him to call me. She suddenly became furious, raised her voice on me and f...word that they are not interested. Thats ok if she was not interested but why did she have to be rude and obnoxious? This experience was absolutely unacceptable and did not have any ground to happen. My refrigerator died and I needed to get a new one asap. Local stores had good sales but the earliest delivery was 6 days. I went to Tony's in person. I told them what I needed and was taken to the right item at the right price. For $50 they delivered it THE SAME DAY even though it was 3:30 when I went there. They moved the old one out and got the new one running. This is not a frilly operation but I wanted a basic appliance at a great price. I got a Whirlpool that was from 2010, clean delivered and works. I saved hundreds of dollars and did not have to throw away lots of perishable food. I am satisfied and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Tony has to be one of the hardest working men I know. As a landlord, I have bought numerous appliances from him over the years and I've never had a single issue with any of them. Kicking an old stove to the curb that I bought from him back in 2004 and it was still working, but just needed one in a different color. Why is tonys a bad place too do business with. Tony sold me a used. GE Refrigerator. He took some appliances in on trade too reduce the cost but. The fridge did not cool. That was just the beginning. He did pick it up and 3 months later left it outside my house again. Yes again. The first time he delivered if I was out of the USA He left it out side as the two weeks prior too my trip he was two busy or two much rain too deliver. The simple fact is. This appliance was never too be re sold. After contacting GE they sent a tech out who said this unit was too be destroyed and could not be fixed. It some how landed in Tony's store. I have been through so much and so many stories by tony. I had too work around this large 3'x3'x6' fridge while tile and installing my wood floor two. I called the police and they said if was a civil matter. But insted of tony doing the right thing he dropped it outside my home again. As it still sits today. Now the county says if must go. So. I sent tony a letter and he also calls me names. ( little Neapolian ). Strange. His predugdice and his arrogance are just sad. At one point he offered a partial refund. And I said I want a full refund. He then used a few words and told me too bad. I should have taken less. I have recently read where tony dealt in stolan appliances but maybe that was not his fault. Maybe it was not Tony's fault that this $1200. Used Apliance was never too have been sold. Maybe its. Not Tony's fault that he says the things he does? My washer flooded the laundry room, I needed a replacement that day. Went to Tony's Used Appliances in Sarasota and found the same model but in way better shape. They gave me a great price. Tony delivered it my house that afternoon and even installed it, did a function check. I am very happy, I saved hundreds of dollars and got same day delivery, he even got rid of my old machine, no extra change. Set an appointment 10 days in advance for non-emergency refrigerator repairs. Requested early morning appointment to minimize amount of time I'd take off work and was told I'd be the first appointment following a phone call that morning to tell me precisely when the repair person would appear. When I had not heard from Tony's by 12:30 pm, I called and was told "they meant to call me to reschedule," but were apparently never able to get around to it. I've never been treated so poorly by a "business." My 70 year old mother came home from having cancer removed to a broken refrigerator the day before Thanksgiving. Panicking, we drove to Tony's. (She has purchased a washer and dryer from them in the past.) We didn't have all of the correct measurements, so we told the ladies that we would call back with a credit card to purchase the correct size and have it delivered. After not getting through and leaving two messages, we decided to drive there again - we really needed a working fridge. Once there, Jess walked right past us and refused to speak to us and Belinda told us that she refused to sell us anything because we had supposedly bought one in the parking lot from someone else. We told her that we had not bought anything, hence driving back and trying to purchase theirs. She rudely lied to our face saying that the owner (who was not there) refused to sell us anything. I asked why she was refusing to sell a little old lady with cancer a fridge the day before Thanksgiving and she told me it wasn't her problem. I then called the owner and he said that he would gladly sell us what we needed, but that he was out of town for three weeks and the "girls" run the place and make the decisions. I just don't understand how someone can be so cruel to customers for no reason. We feel tricked, lied to, and discriminated against. We will never go back to these cruel, horrible people.
