I just moved into the area and my dad recommended me to floss. I need a lot of dental work done, and the people at floss and Dr. wright have made it almost enjoyable. I would suggest everyone to go there and get the most out of their dental experience. No one likes going to the dentist, but it's necessary and the staff at Floss Coppel make it bearable. First visit was ok, everything was routine. They were not very gentle or sympathetic to my anxiety/fear of going to the dentist, but I was willing to give them another chance. Came back in 6 months for my next cleaning, and this time they told me I had serious problems and needed an extreme treatment plan that was going to cost $1,000 out of pocket. They gave me this intense, scary speech about how if I didn't do it, my teeth were going to fall out and I'd be in dentures, I was absolutely shocked and baffled, since 6 months earlier they said all was well and routine, and in fact very healthy considering it had been awhile since my last exam! I even implemented additional flossing and night guard as recommended. I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and he said that I absolutely did NOT need ANY of the treatment they had told me. He said my mouth was perfectly healthy, everything looked normal and there was no sign of any problems or concerns that would require treatment, let alone such aggressive treatment that was being proposed. Totally unethical! So basically this practice uses bullying and high-pressure sales to convince you to get unnecessary and painful treatments. I would NOT recommend. We moved to into town a year ago and I'm happy to have found FLOSS of Coppell. The facility is nice and clean. Everyone here works towards making your dental experience very pleasant. Dr Sing and her team work quickly to get you in and out as pleasantly as possible. In the last year, I've been to FLOSS 4 times (2 cleanings, 1 whitening and 1 filling replacement). The staff is very courteous and professional. They really care about the patients. However, the I question the validity of the Dentists treatment recommendations. I believe the pressure to sell in a Franchise type office is greater than the concern for the patient. My 23 year old daughter was a patient in an Austin office, and they recommended that she replace all of her fillings.$2500 worth of work. She went for a second opinion and no work was needed. I was a patient in the Coppell, Texas, office, and they recommended i have twp fillings and a crown based solely on shadows on an X-ray..$1112.00 worth of work. The dentist did not "poke" my teeth at all to check for soft tissuel. I followed up with another dentist, who recommended I pay more attention to my flossing and brushing, but no further treatment was necessary at this time. USE CAUTION!!! read more

Family and I went to this place for three years. Revolving door of dentists, hygienists, office staff. Some are good, some are okay, some are just bad. Props for Dr. Sing - but the rest... not so much. If you go, expect to get expensive treatment recommendations and offer of dental credit plans to fund it. I kid you not. Each time I got second opinions - twice was told needed treatment was nowhere near what was recommended at Floss. I stayed as long as I did because convenient location - but no more. First of all, my review is for my 6 year old daughter's visit. My husband and I went for annual checkups here and we liked it, everybody was kind and friendly, so when they said they can do checkup for my kid, I was happy. We had a scheduled appointment for her on the last month but on the day of appointment I got a call to reschedule. The day before the rescheduled day, I got a call again and I was asked to change my appointment time to 90 min earlier. This time I said no, but anyway, they changed my appoint time 10 min earlier without asking. When I got an automated text, I noticed that they had changed the appointment time but well, it was just 10 min so I didn't make any complaint. We got there on time, everything was nice till the lady started to clean my daughter's teeth. I did't like the way she did because the gum stated to bleed and hurting my daughter pulling her dried up lips, but I know sometimes it happens so I told my daughter to sit still. Well, the lady tried to put huge adult size stuff like some piles of gauze or whatever it is called with a plastic thing etc, these were way too big and too many for a kid's mouth, also she put the tools too deep so my daughter choked and almost vomited, not once but many times. After putting sealant resin, she realized that the light for the treatment was not working (it was not charged) so my poor child had to wait and be tortured all over again. After having all these torture for 70 min, I thought it was too much. They didn't finish it yet but I told them to stop because it took too long, too much pain. My daughter had NO CAVITIES, never has had and yet it took 70 min to do the checkup and clean her teeth. (The chair is not comfortable for kids, no booster, no cushion.) When I said we had enough, they said they couldn't finish it because my daughter was tired. Well hello? She didn't cry, she didn't move, she just opened her mouth and put up with the pain for 70 min. Do you still blame my daughter? After all this, we were told that I should have taken my kid to pediatric dentist. I hope they had told me that before making an appointment, but now obviously they DO NOT WANT KIDS here. When we got home, my daughter said "Why did she try to choke me so many times, did she want to kill me?". Worst experience ever. I take my daughter to dentist every 6 months, she has been very well behaved each time since she was a baby, never cried, never complained about dentists. We've moved a lot so she has been to many different dentists, not-only-pediatric dentists too, but each time she was happy, and well behaved. This is good dentistry for adults, not for kids. If you are planning to take your kid here for a checkup, get ready for a long painful time, and if your kid has a cavity... I don't want to even imagine what's gonna happen but good luck! read more

I was told by Floss Dental that I needed a crown for a tooth that was showing a significant and aggressive amount of decay, Floss had taken a full set of X Rays six months ago and never mentioned any decay. They recommended a crown as soon as possible. I requested my X Ray's be emailed to another Dentist in Copell and after this dentist looked at the Floss X Rays he decided as a precautionary measure to take one for comparison of the tooth. His X Ray found no decay at all in the tooth in question and said it was very healthy. I had taken the work sheet and estimate from Floss to verify we were looking at the same tooth. Would a tooth so badly in need of a $1,000 crown not be visible to another dentist? My suggestion is to always get a second opinion. But I personally will not be returning to Floss. read more

This place is great for new graduate doctors, they can learn skills and collect some experience and than jump to some real dental office and unfortunately innocent people had to pay for that, I had horrible experience, one crown and I had three doctors worked on it, every time I go there I see new faces and and when you ask about the last doctor who work on your teeth they do not tell you where he moved, the other thing is you pay the total when you go out and you keep getting bills from them, and when I call them they said just ignore it, it's entry level for every one, bad system, bad accounting, bad customer services , my crown did not last two months, it's fell twice and they try to fix it but they failed, I have to go with implant now, THINK twice before you go there. read more

I couldn't have been happier with my experience at Floss in Coppell (location really does matter) and my interaction with the entire staff. Dr. Sarah is beyond fantastic and she is the reason I am still a patient of Floss. Everyone is extremely welcoming and Dr. Sarah made me feel significant; regardless of the reason for my visit, be it a routine cleaning or a filling. I have been to this location twice in a couple years. Both times my experience here was a wonderful experience. I could not have asked for or found a better dental office. Dr. Sing takes care to ensure her patients are comfortable and know exactly what to expect. My last experience, was incredible. Dr. Sing and her staff were able to squeeze me in for a root canal at the last minute. I was able to get in the following day. I was very surprised that I was able to get in right away. The dental staff are always kind, courteous and respectful. I will definitely recommend this particular location and staff to anyone that is looking for a primary dental. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at FLOSS in Coppell. The office is really nice and well kept, but the people are what make it exceptional! Dr. Sara Mahmood is fantastic. She makes you feel comfortable and talks you through the entire appointment. She is an exceptional dentist and her staff are amazing as well. Her dental assistant did a great job with my cleaning. I had not been to the dentist in a very long time because I was too scared. The staff at Floss dental was very friendly, however I was told I needed 2 crowns for old fillings. The dentist Sarah did a poor job and for 7 weeks I have experienced pain, discomfort, infection and the permanent crowns falling off. I went to another dentist to have the work corrected and he said the work was substandard. I had to repay to have the teeth and crowns redone. Seems to be okay for simple dentistry but the dentist as nice as she was, is new from school and not experienced in major dental work. read more

It was my first time at any FLOSS location. I had gone in for a consultation on Invisalign. The staff was extremely friendly and I couldn't have been more pleased with my first experience there! I was greeted by Ashley at the front desk when I first walked in. The wait was not long at all - I sat down in the waiting area and about 20 seconds later, I was called back. I was assissted by Joan who gave me a tour of their office and walked me through how Invisalign works and even showed me a sample set they keep in their office. Later, Dr. Wright came in and also walked me through the process very thoroughly and answered any questions I had. Afterwards, Dani, the office manager, helped me in setting up my payment plan. I was in and out in no time. I would definitely recommend this location. They made it convenient for me right from the start when it came to scheduling my first appointment.
