We have been going to this office for almost three years now. The staff is amazing, and I love how the hygienist always takes time to make sure my autistic son understands what's coming next. We usually request a private room, and we've always been accommodated. Dr. Whittington is so quick yet thorough. My son has never liked going to the dentist, but he feels comfortable here. We love Dr. Whittington. We recently moved to the area and I have a 6 year old and 3 year old daughter. Neither of them exactly love the dentist but after our first visit here the girls actually enjoy coming back! We haven't had any cavities or any procedures done so I can't speak to that but one of my truest tests of dentists are if they jump to a procedure, or if they are more of a "wait and watch" person. Any dentist that will jump to a procedure will make me jump offices. So if that doesn't work out for us I will be sure to update this review! So far I don't love any of the hygienists. I LIKE them all and they are all nice but I expect more (the other office I came from in another state I feel like they went above and beyond and they were just amazing with the kids, over here it doesn't feel that way). BUT we do really love Dr. Whittington. He is patient, gentle and kind and explains everything to both the kid and the parent! My 3 year old isn't the easiest to deal with and she didn't want to sit in the patient's chair so he had her sit on my lap and lie back on a tilted board and she did great that way and he was able to brush, polish and get the fluoride varnish without her being mad! That is a win in my book. read more

My son had a really bad chipped tooth that required emergency care. The dentist office wasn't currently open so I left a message for Dr. Whittington. He called me back right away, evaluated photos of his tooth, and got us in contact with another dentist who took care of us away. This is a very beautiful dental office for kids. They have a brand new and high technology equipment. I love the settings, design, and decoration. Staff are very friendly and awesome. Doctor Patrick will make your kids comfortable and will try his best to explain to your children what's going on. The tv at the ceilings, the sunglasses, the headphones, the movies, and the purple chair made my daughter at ease while on procedure. She's afraid of dentist but not anymore. She also got a bonus toy where she can choose what she likes me. I think it's cool. They also provide a welcome kit as a new patient. I'm glad I found them online through their website (I love a company that has their own website). They just opened few months ago. My daughter was able to enjoy all those new amenities they provide. You don't have to bring papers or form with you. You can fill it up for they will send them to you through email. As a person who's into technology, I think it's a bonus points. They have a lot of things in purple and I love purple! Well, I didn't come here to be seen by dentist but I choose it for my daughter. I would totally recommend this place! If you kid normally is scared of the dentist well look no further this place is perfect for kids that has had bad experience with the dentist. They care about kids and want they to have a great experience. They communicate with your child the whole time tells them what to expect I love this place a absolutely recommend it to everyone. Friendly staff! This place cures dentistry anxiety. My 5 year old tried other dentists but was always crying and combative. Unlike other places, Whittington's Staff is genuinely friendly to kids (not the forced type that many adults put on). Hygienist is super nice to kids and dentist is very careful during the cleaning exam. We are switching to here. read more

From the moment we walked in, I felt my two little ones (2 & 1) were safe and welcome. The (educational) toys, the Moana sound track playing, the books and magazines, a Disney movie playing... A child's paradise. Dr. Whittington and his team were so kind and patient. As well as informative to me as the parent on important topics of dental health. They make what could be a stressful situation calm and happy. My 2 y.o. started out frightened and Dr. Whittington was so patient and gentle that eventually she came around and finally didn't mind the exam and cleaning. Afterward she didn't want to leave and was asking to come back by the time we got to the car. We have found our pediatric dental home and I couldn't be more pleased. It's so hard to find a dentist and assistants who actually care about the kids. My daughter (7 yrs old) had to have several procedures done within a year 1/2 time frame, and our experience at her old dentist was miserable to say the least. We found out that none of $1500 worth of caps were done correctly, and now she has to do all of them over again! She is forever traumatized... and after leaving that office and coming to Whittington Pediatrics', they were more then awesome in making her feel comfortable and happy. Took my 3yr old for a visit. The staff were very nice and friendly with kids. Love the decor and cleanliness of the office. We went as first-timers to get our 18-month-old's chipped teeth fixed. Everything about this place is first-class! -The facilities are great...bright, clean, and modern (not your stuffy old dental office). -The work was amazing! Her teeth look perfect; can't tell she had even chipped them. -Dr. Patrick did a phenomenal job explaining everything in detail and answering all questions. He was also very gentle with our little one. His staff were smiling and friendly, too. -Pricing was more than fair and the small detials really catered to children: free gift at the end of the visit and a balloon. Love it here! My kids all love coming to the dentist and everything here is just for kids! I almost feel like I'm spoiling them with all the fun stuff they have. Fun waiting room, all the toothpaste and fluoride flavors, movie with headphones and cool shades during the checkup, very cool way for toddlers to get their checkup while staying in the arms of mommy, helpful and friendly advice, and a balloon with a toy at the end!
