Do. Not. Use. FlowerMoxie. Sounds like it's great when everything works well. But if they make a mistake with your order and they can't easily fix it, they will expect you to pay for it. My wedding was on July 5, and the plan my florist and I made during my consultation hinged on tons of greenery, especially for the table centerpieces, for a gorgeous woodland wedding. Well, 80% of that greenery didn't come. It was a problem somewhere on the ordering end by FlowerMoxie or their supplier, nothing to do with me. Because of the holiday weekend, they couldn't just send replacements the next day. I had to spend extra time and money, and redesign my entire floral plan 3 days before the event. FlowerMoxie told me they would refund just the specific greenery that was missing, and cut me loose to fend for myself. I asked for a full refund because I would no longer be able to use the design plan I had purchased, or many of the supplies I had purchased, or possibly some of the flowers I had purchased. Those expenses don't even account for the extra time and anxiety involved in suddenly having to redesign all the flower arrangements, and then go purchase more greenery and flowers for the new design at the grocery store. They offered me less than a 10% refund on the cost of the flowers alone (not including the supplies or the designs), because after all, they got some of the order correct. If I had ordered a cake baking kit, and it came with all the other ingredients but only 20% of the flour, it wouldn't matter that the other parts came. It wouldn't be the kit I had ordered. Add to that, the price and quality of the grocery store greenery and flowers I purchased were basically the same as FlowerMoxie's price per stem and floral quality. Take your business elsewhere. Support a local florist and save yourself the headache despite the extra cost, or use another service to order bulk flowers so that if the company you order from messes up, they won't ask you to pay for their mistakes. read more

They sent us the wrong color flowers and called it a "minor variation." We sent clear photos and followed all of their instructions but they refused to send the correct flowers and offered us an $80 refund after we spent $1800. We are currently disputing it with our credit card company. This is a lot of extra headache you just don't need on your wedding weekend! read more

I purchased the Helping Hand package and Meg was extremely helpful and thoughtful with her design recommendations. I also found all of the education materials and tutorials to be very helpful. That said, you're better off buying your flowers somewhere else - look for local wholesalers who are open to the public, or find a vendor with access to a Mayesh location near you. Flower Moxie largely imports their flowers and they aren't of the highest quality. I wasn't able to have one of the installations I planned for my ceremony because of poor quality product and since I didn't reach out immediately (because I was busy with my wedding), Flower Moxie refused a refund. read more

Second time that I have been shipped incorrect flowers, had multiple substitutions from what I did order (completely different colors that clashed with the wedding/rest of the florals) and on top of all of that, my most recent order they excluded all of the most important flowers without telling me and sending no replacements! Extremely unprofessional business practices and the value is not there when you will have to run around multiple flower shops to make up for all the mistakes they made. These flowers were AWFUL! I had to throw more than half away! Dead, half bloomed, wilted, heads falling off!! Thank God for Trader Joes! Save yourself the time and money and go with another DIY site! The owner only tried to call at 730pm the night of my rehearsal dinner and hung up when I said I couldnt talk! No contact since. We created truly florist quality designs with our Flower Moxie flowers, and it was SO fun. It really was an awesome way to bring everyone together the day before the wedding and bond with family who were helping. I especially appreciated the guidance on shipping. We did FedEx onsite because we were locate in a rural area and the flowers were delayed (due to FedEx). I was really happy with the level of communication from Flower Moxie when that happened. Thank goodness I found Amy and Flower Moxie! I was set on DIY-ing my flowers and after a trip to the LA Flower Mart I was totally overwhelmed. I was pretty convinced I would be carrying a broccoli down the aisle. Then, my dad and I were researching how to make corsages on YouTube and we stumbled upon Flower Moxie's corsage tutorial, which lead me to the website. It was a godsend! What is so great is that if you have no idea what you're doing (like me) the website has beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, and other accessories that you can choose from or get inspiration from! I contacted Amy immediately and she was so cool! We came up with a great plan for boutonnieres, bouquets for bridesmaids and me (bride), and corsages for the moms! Flower Moxie's instructional videos were so incredibly thorough and helpful and Amy was there for me with any questions I had! Not to mention, it was so affordable! Very disappointed by this florist. I had ordered over $700 worth of flowers from flower moxie for my daughter in laws bridal shower. The carnations and roses were lovely but the spray roses and the eucalyptus were basically dead when I received them. I took pictures and emailed them to the business within a day. Nothing they told me made sense. I was so busy getting ready for the event I dropped it for the time being. A few days later I followed up with them and they told me I didn't send a photo with every single dead flower! the photo I sent was a close up of a full bouquet!! at least 2/3 of my order. They were totally indifferent and basically put the blame on me. Very dissapointing. Unless you are a florist I do not recommend this company. Very expensive and sub par customer service read more

After comparing with quotes from professional florists, we figured out that we will get triple the amount of flowers from Flower Moxie, for less! So, I made sure that my team knew what we would be getting ourselves into & we all agreed on Flower Moxie. So with a team of 3 total, we constructed 1 Bridal bouquet, 3 Bridesmaid bouquets, 10 centerpiece arrangements, 2 large arch pieces, 6 boutonnieres, & over 2 dozen single stem wine bottle arrangements; all in almost half of the time that Flower Moxie told us to alot for. During the ordering phase, I booked a consultation to create a custom look and boy am I glad I did! Caprice was so helpful, energetic, and interested in helping me bring my vision to light! She supported all of my ideas and gave me tips on how to make it happen! She then put together a BEAUTIFUL packet complete with a vision board, recipe page, supply list, & links to videos, training, and worksheets! It was a no brainer at this point. The flowers were delivered on a Wednesday and they were perfect. Flower Moxie, FM, tells users to expect up to a 5% loss on the order since they are living things, and life is not always predictable; we lost no more than 1% on the entire order! Our ranunculus did suffer a little bit, but to no fault of anyone but Mother Nature's. FM did make me aware on Tuesday that there would have to be a substitution made. Now I ordered with only about 40 days before my wedding, I cut it CLOSE, so I knew this was a very likely possibility, so I wasn't that upset that it was happening; what I was upset about was the substitution that they made without asking. But, after chatting them (their response time was incredible), they explained that what I originally ordered was a rare item and hard to replicate, so they could only try and match based off color scheme. About 1 hour later I get a new one stating that they were able to find the amount that I need from a different supplier and they would ship it out immediately. On Wednesday, not only did the original order come completely filled, but the substitution was also sent! So now I have more than I originally ordered! Upon working with one of the bunches, we managed to damage them ourselves & FM told us that they would refund for half of them, even though it was our error! The training videos & worksheets are so thorough & easy to follow that even if you have never SEEN a flower, you could make beautiful arrangements! Flower Moxie was PERFECT! Honestly, I don't know why she isn't booked solid for the next two years. Amy was so easy to work with, and I couldn't believe how cheap the flowers would be! I knew I wasn't doing flower centerpieces, because I hate the idea of paying $$$ for something that will die in a few days. For the price of one bridal bouquet from a professional, I was able to get flowers for my entire wedding party (including $60 next day air shipping!) I know it seems scary doing your own flowers, but Amy's youtube videos were so helpful, and she sent along a ton of instructions and tips. She also responded within 30 minutes to questions I had on the day of my delivery. Honestly, you're just putting some flowers in a bunch and wrapping ribbon around it. It's really not that hard, so don't be scared! I did it myself in a few hours, but it would have taken even less time if I had recruited my bridesmaids. I learned about Flower Moxie before I even got engaged, from the A Practical Wedding website, and knew right away that it was the perfect hand-held DIY approach for my September wedding! Amy is delightful and came up with the perfect flowers for my unhelpful "I don't really have a specific vision but I love the Dutch still lifes and also these two specific flowers and my fiance for some reason wants purple can we throw that in there too?" request. We stayed within our budget and had MASSES of flowers and they were *gorgeous*. I really enjoyed first conditioning the flowers (which I did at a relatively leisurely pace with a beer and the television) and then arranging them with my bridesmaids. Amy has tons of videos and tutorials to help you so you can get as much help as you could ever want, but honestly I took a very laid-back approach (my bridesmaids were much more on top of it!) and all of our arrangements, boutonnieres (OMG amazing) and bouquets turned out beautiful regardless of style. Not everything went off without a hitch--one order of my favourite roses (the romantic antikes) fell apart in my hands and I was heartbroken before my husband ran to a local florist who saved the day with another type of garden rose. (As it turns out our bouquets were so lush we probably would have been okay without them, anyway, but it was unspeakably kind of them to help us.) Since flowers are living things being shipped cross country that's probably just sometimes going to happen, and the petals from the broken roses were ultimately used to line aisle. I spent quite a bit of time looking for flowers to use for my daughters upcoming wedding and working with her on the final selections. We got everything together and I thought I'd better ask a few questions to ensure that I was heading in the right direction. I was filling out the online form for contact when I noticed, $350 minimum purchase. I thought this might just be used as an example for budget; but no, they really do have this as a minimum purchase. They were very nice responding and suggested I go to either Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Well those may be okay alternatives but that doesn't get the flowers my daughter really wants. I knew I wanted to DIY the flowers for the wedding from the start, it was the only way I was going to be able to get the look I wanted on my budget. I looked at Sams Club/Costco, local wholesale markets and such. While I had an idea of what I wanted I was having a hard time figuring out how many of what I needed and the quantities the big box stores sold were going to limit the variety of the arrangements. I found Flower Moxie when I was looking up tutorials for flower arrangements and it provided the perfect mix. I was able to send Amy my Pinterest inspiration photos along with my colors and my budget and she knew exactly what to do. She wrote out an order and gave me how many of each flower to use in each type of arrangement, and all the information I needed to prep the flowers to look their best when they arrived. The Friday before the wedding all girls in the bridal party, Mums and Aunts got together at my Mother in Laws' house put on some music and had a blast putting all of the flowers together before the rehearsal dinner.
