I've been in a few times for various reasons. Each time the staff has been so kind and knowledgeable about any questions I have. Today I had them repot a cactus I got here over a year ago. I was afraid I would prick myself and make a huge mess, so I was so happy that they offer this! Did I mention she said I was a good plant mom, btw? ;) Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a little green to add to your place! While you wait you can also grab coffee or a bite from Okay, Yeah Co. in the same building!

This is a great place to buy succulents! I recommend going during one of their events where you just sit down and pick out a pot, pick out the succulents you want, and plant it yourself right there! The only downside of this is that it is VERY pricey. Definitely do not plan on going to buy a plant unless you are ready to invest.

Walking through the rustic doors of the shop, located in downtown OKC, you are greeted by a scene that is, simply put- Adorably Aesthetic. Plants have an obvious careful arrangement, set among vintage wagons and wood, string lights strung on the ceiling. The atmosphere is just calm, it would be a good study place and they have a lot of seating for their coffee shop. The lady working was very kind and offered to send us with dirt to plant our new friends. I would rate this experience 10/10 and I plan to be back to pick out another arrangement again. Prices are VERY decent, and they have an selection of small plants to large plants and various pots. This would be a good place to go if you wanted an afternoon activity or just wanted to look around, or just to sit down to drink coffee.

I literally just walked in the door from my trip to the Plant Shoppe and this place was so amazing that I had to write a review before I could do anything else. First off, the Plant Shoppe is in the coolest space on an awesome street in downtown OKC. The space is very cozy and inviting. I didn't really know what to expect from the Plant Shoppe, but I came in looking for two separate plants for Christmas gifts. After meandering around a bit, I found that you could pot your own plant! You simply choose a pot, succulents or air plants, soil, rocks, moss and whatever else is offered. You grab a tray and sit down at a table and get to work! My daughter and I had a lot of fun putting together one pot with air plants and one pot with succulents. In addition to creating our own potted plants, the owner, Jen, was incredibly helpful and informative and I honestly learned a lot from her in a short amount of time about how to care for the plants and now I understand why I have had such a hard time keeping succulents alive. :) As far as I know, the Plant Shoppe also does workshops for terrariums and such things, which sounds like a lot of fun. I absolutely love this place and cannot wait to go back to make more potted plants myself! I hope everyone stops in the Plant Shoppe at least once to see for yourself. Seriously the coolest place ever!

Tried out the new Plant Shoppe the other night at their Succulents and Sips event. Upon walking in the door, there were many varieties of Succulents to choose. Small and large. Next, you selected a pot. After having found your plant and pit, you moved to the work table where trays were neatly placed with potting instructions. Everyone around is busy making their own special creative plant to take home. Meanwhile, you are able to order a drink from the Stitch bar and cafe. A woman next to me ordered the "terrarium" which was $22. It was made for two people to drink, and had aguava and other succulent sounding ingredients that ended up looking and supposedly tasting like a margarita in a fishbowl! I digress... after completing your plant to take home, you paid out at the register. It didn't take long! The pot was $10 and the plant was $12. Also, there was a $6 fee for the potting mix that you used. Heads up.... byop! (Bring your own pot) to save a bit of green.

    How gorgeous are these?!?!

My boyfriend surprised me with a couples succulent brunch class and it was awesome. Good food, cocktails, and a beautiful succulent arrangement that we made ourselves! I know you can run to Walmart and buy succulents now, but this place is all QUALITY. She has succulents you can't get other places. Beautiful colors and varieties, and all the tools you need. I learned a lot and can't wait to bring my own container to fill sometime!

Got this cute little succulent plant last weekend!

The orchid I chose at TLC had a couple of areas on the leaves that looked like cotton. I took it back to the information desk and the women wiped off the white area and told me it would be fine. My husband purchased the orchid for me for $60.00. Unfortunately, the white chalky substance kept coming back. I googled the information and found out it had mealybugs. I followed the directions to clean the area with alcohol. After trying to remove it for two months without success, I took the plant back to TLC today to ask for help. Paul, the manager was at the front door and told me to go to the middle of the store to talk to the woman at the information desk. She determined the mealybugs were in the potting media which is why I could not eliminate them with alcohol. She said she could repot the orchid but there would be a cost. Obviously, the potting media was infected when the orchid was purchased two months ago. I was insulted when told I would have to pay for the repotting process. I spoke with the manager, Paul, and he told me house plants do not have any type of warranty. I learned a lesson today. I will not buy house plants from TLC! I will buy them at a business that carries a warranty for a third of the cost! Susan M Reply to Frank on July 18 Frank, I would appreciate a retraction on your response. The orchid WAS purchased at TLC on May 6! The above story is accurate except for the amount spent ($50 instead of $60). I had not looked up the receipt before coming by TLC yesterday. The reference number on the receipt is 32073802. The total amount spent that day was $122.70. I have 6 very healthy orchids purchased at different locations. The white pot left with the orchid must have been switched while watering. The orchid purchased from Whole Foods is healthy and doing well. Actually, over the years I have never had a problem with an orchid being affected with mealybugs except for the orchid purchased at TLC. One statement you made is correct. This is the first review I have made on YELP because I wanted to let others know that customer service is questionable at your business. I understand policy is policy on the return of houseplants. I was not upset until being told there would be a charge to repot the plant. It didn't make sense for me as the customer, to pay to correct a problem that I wasn't responsible for. It would have cost very little for your employee to offer to repot the plant for free.

I just bought 3 tri color ornamental sweet potato vines. They cost $20. I do not recommend them for trees, though. I chose a beautiful willow tree. There was a freeze, and they asked to substitute it for a different willow. I agreed. It never did thrive and eventually died. They replaced it (which sounds great, but the tree is the cheap part - the labor is expensive!). The workers didn't use the fish emulsion - that I provided (Marcums said the fish emulsion should be mixed in when the tree was planted - and I wanted to give the willow the very best chance possible). This tree died, too. I think the hole they dug was WAY too small. We also got an Asian Pear tree with the first willow. It also died. It came up from below the graft line and is green and growing, but it is no longer an Asian Pear and doesn't fruit. We have spent almost $1,000 on these trees and have no willow at all, and whatever the root stock is for the Asian Pear. We paid the premium for them to plant the trees and guarantee them, but it did not work how I thought it would. Just go to Costco or a Farm Supply store, and do it yourself. Even if it doesn't live, you will only be out a little money.
