Up until now, they've always done a great job, but this recent experience for Mother's Day was extremely disappointing. First, the delivery driver brought the wrong bouquet. I paid $209.41 (including delivery), but my mom received a bouquet that was clearly not what I ordered later confirmed to be a lower priced arrangement. I had to call customer service, who then contacted the driver immediately. While I appreciate that they responded quickly, it still took about 47 minutes for the driver to return, take back the incorrect bouquet, and retrieve the correct one from the truck. When the correct arrangement finally arrived, the presentation was still off. The vase was too short for the flowers, making the bouquet look unbalanced and like it was falling out. For over $200, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. On top of that, the company advertised "free delivery," but that only applied to very limited areas on the island. I still had to pay a delivery fee despite the initial mistake being entirely on their end, which felt misleading. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day. I've had good experiences before, but this one really missed the mark.

Florals will be one of the more pricey items on your vendor list, but I promise that if you hire Posy Parties, you will be SO happy with the results. I spoke with a few other florists before deciding to book with Manu; not only was she extremely timely in her responses, but her prices were very reasonable in comparison, and our consultations couldn't have been easier. I spoke with Manu over the phone several times, and emailed her pictures of what I had envisioned. I actually NEVER personally met her, as I was so busy the day of the wedding that I never got to meet her! Manu went above and beyond everything that I could have imagined with the flowers... People kept complimenting our beautiful bouquets and asking who we used. She turned our concrete jungle ceremony site into a beautiful fairytale. Many of my other vendors had never even heard of Posy Parties. Although Posy Parties is not as mainstream as many other florists on the island, I'm so glad that i went with my gut and trusted Manu with our flowers. If you're not familiar with what that is, it's basically a formal women's long dress that is worn at special occasions or events. That day I also purchased a Barong Tagalog for myself as I also walked my sister down the aisle representing my late father. A Barong Tagalog is a men's formal shirt, majority in beige color, but also comes in other solid or ombre colors.  This past weekend, I had to go in to purchase another Barong for my grandfather's funeral. He will be wearing it in his casket at his upcoming memorial service. Via is the shopkeeper who runs Bloom and I met her 2 years ago, she is lovely and extra personable, efficient with what she does. Her shop didnt have many to choose from as she she's been busy with other orders for funerals, and her next large shipment isnt until end of May. I was happy to know that the perfect shirt was on hand, in the perfect size. As much as I'd love to go back to The Philippines to and have an abundant selection of Barong to choose from, a last minute roundtrip ticket with 2 weeks worth of quarantine is not ideal during this time hehe. She was very transparent with prices and helped us stay within our budget while still delivering quality top notch work. The florals photographed so well, but do NOT do it justice. It was so much more beautiful in person. Our decor for the chapel doubled as decor for the reception. Groomsmen (sons and son in law) got leis, bridesmaids (daughters & daughter in law) got tropical bouquets, sponsors got leis, grandsons all got leis as well as my dad (groom). My mother was given a beautiful lei po'o for the reception & she used it everyday for we were on the island. I cannot thank Patricia enough for making my mom's vision come to life. Not only did she create centerpieces and sweetheart table pieces that perfectly fit the theme, but she also intuitively chose exactly the right KINDS of flowers and greenery that were in sync with my spiritual needs (even though I didn't tell her about any of it!). On top of that, she also was able to fly in specialty Thai lei from Thailand which we presented to our parents. They were gorgeous and were a wonderful, unexpected cultural touch. She helped my sister-in-law who made a donut cake for us by providing some extra greens to tie everything together, even though she didn't have to! Patricia was super responsive, super flexible, and reasonably priced for the work that she did. I would absolutely recommend her for any of your floral needs. I understand she also does cookies, cupcakes, and cakes (I've seen the pictures on Instagram); I'm sure I'll be back to use those services for future parties!
