He was always very attentive to all my questions/changes so I could get a lot done through email, and never really had to call for anything. The day of the wedding, everything was exactly what I pictured. I was so happy with the quality of the bouquets, leis, boutonnieres, centerpieces and large arrangements. But from there, I didn't make his job easy. I toyed with my flower budget countless times, added this, took away that.....and finally (with a very heavy heart) decided that I needed to cut into it. Chad was quick to answer all my emails and would give me his opinion for the countless bouquet photos that I'd send over. He truly cut every corner that he could for me in order to make the flowers I had imagined fit into the meager budget that I had given him to work with. On wedding morning, I teared up when my flowers arrived at the hotel. My bouquet was stunning. It was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. As soon ad I stepped in, I could immediately smell the sweet fragrant flowers! I guess they just opened on May 1st, May Day. It was a large bright space filled with other merchandise! Besides a table displaying purple hydrangeas, blue bells which the lady said it lasts longer than a week! There was also a station with buckets of flowers: yellow roses; peach, red, lime, pink and purple carnations; Crysanthemums, mums; daisies; ferns, etc. There is a mocktail corner too! A bookcase filled with Brooklyn New York snacks, sweets, essentials, savories and home good gifts! My favorite section was a bar with hanging upside down flowers particularly roses! And a string/lei of carnations!

Todd went above and beyond, bringing the exact vision we were looking for on our wedding day. My bouquet was phenomenal. Todd was always available for questions and responded in a timely fashion, which was quite valuable for our destination wedding. We were quite sensitive to the preservation of the flowers, so we were most appreciative of recycling our ceremony flowers to be reused for the reception as well. Due to covid, our wedding did have to be postponed once. Todd was incredibly reassuring to us during that difficult time, providing thoughtful and sincere words of advice. I hate that I have to give a bad review and the unfortunate events of this business and the owner…read moreand I appreciate the things that Todd assisted me with, but I needed to share my experience. Sorry this is going to be long one - This business was on my venue's preferred vendors so I first reached out in January 2026 for my October 2026 wedding. Todd was great at responding at first when we were both trying to get an idea of what I wanted. I'm not big on flowers in general but I still wanted to have some floral for my wedding. I sent over a wishlist and inspo pictures and he priced it out, but I didn't realize how much floral costs so we were able to remove and adjust. He recommended repurposing all ceremony floral for reception to help with my lower budget and for certain flowers to be silk rather than fresh flowers due to the climate. We went back and forth on the phone making adjustments until we came to my final order. I thought it was kind of weird that as soon as he sent me the final invoice, he called me immediately and asked me to look it over and give my card information to pay without giving me some time to look it over on my own then send over my payment. I get he wanted the business but it was a bit of too much pressure, especially considering it is a lot of money and I wanted to make sure everything was good before I handed over money. After paying over the phone, I asked for a receipt and after still not receiving it 2 days later, I asked again and finally got it 3 days after paying. Because I gave myself a lot of time to plan my wedding and started reaching out to vendors early, of course my vision changed as time went by. At the beginning of June 2026, I wanted to change the bridal floral (lei for bride & groom), I added 2 flower girls and one of my bridesmaids had to drop out due to her job so I asked to adjust my order and an updated invoice. I was expecting quick replies from him since that was my previous experience since interacting with him. The final design for floral was coming up on 6/21/26 and I asked about what is needed and again, for an updated invoice. He just replied that it was confirmed but no invoice. At the end of June, I got to the point that I asked my coordinator to step in and check in with Todd. He finally gets back to us on 6/23/26 and says his assistants had some health issues come up so he was backed up with work and would provide an updated invoice shortly. Okay, I gave him grace and patience especially with it being wedding season too. About a month and a half (!) passed by, and I still have not received an updated invoice and final payment was coming up. My coordinator finally got a hold of him and she updated me that he had some health issues himself and found himself in the hospital. She was able to work out a plan with him and she had a floral friend, Patricia (@808patticakes), who knew Todd and they agreed to have her friend take over my wedding under the Always Flowers 808 business. Since then, yesterday 9/2/26 my coordinator updated me that Todd has filed for bankruptcy and is not planning to finish the contracts he started or refund any deposits he has already collected. Luckily my wedding order was already transferred to Patricia so my wedding will be progressing as planned. SO GRATEFUL for Patricia and please consider her if you need floral or cake for your wedding!

While it's true that communication could have been a little more reciprocal at times (as mentioned in some of these reviews), I was generally really pleased with my experience. The haku lei was just beautiful. I can't really comment on value as I am not a flower expert, but I felt comfortable with what I paid. Also, when everything imaginable went wrong on the day of my elopement and I couldn't pick up as planned, Jennifer kindly delivered the flowers to my hotel (for a fee, of course, which is totally reasonable and appropriate)!!!! She really saved the day!

There was a flower arrangement that wasn't on any booklets to choose from, but we sent her a picture of it and she was able to recreate it just by looking at the picture we sent.
