My husband picked up some roses from here for Valentine's Day. He went in person and had nothing but good things to say. I just had to post a review because the roses are absolutely stunning and have been blooming so beautifully. In the past he has gotten roses from other chain retailers and they seem to wilt and crumple up within a couple days but it has been 5 days and they're blooming as if they are still in the soil and in a summer garden bed. Bachman's down the road has a much larger selection with much better prices. While I have never been in this shop, I have received amazing flowers from here multiple times. In fact, I had roses from this place that lasted for a month! ( I didn't even know that was possible)! My boyfriend had a gorgeous birds of paradise and roses arrangement delivered for Valentine's Day. They were there first thing in the morning, so I could enjoy them all day. My co-workers were stopping by all day to see and smell them. When I called to see about the maintenance, I was told the warmer water opens the flowers up faster, yet colder water preserves the flowers longer. I definitely recommend these guys! Flowerama in Apple Valley is the best florist in the south metro. I have gone to this place so many times and every time has been exceptional. I'm fairly certain that everytime I have walked in the door I have been greeted in a very friendly and professional manner. The staff always asks if you're looking for something specific and makes sure you're taken care of. If you want to browse, they will back off and give you space without following you around and breathing down your neck. However, if you have any questions they will make themselves readily available. The last time I was there I bought 1 dozen white roses, 1 dozen red roses and 4 stems of stargazer lilies. They were out of white lilies, but I did show up at 7 PM on a Saturday. Despite being there later in the week most of the roses were still VERY fresh. The white roses were still very tight, but the reds were starting to open up a little. When I was ready to check out the young lady working (I think her name was Bre) offered to mix the red and white roses for me-- which I should have accepted, as she would have done a much better job. I like to make my own arrangements though, make that extra effort, you know what I mean? The 4 stems of lilies? Holy smokes, TONS of buds. I think there were 4 per stem, so that will make 16 flowers total. A couple were open or opening, but still tons of closed buds too. A very nice mix, and none of the open-ish ones looked sickly or anything. The roses were also mixed with baby's breath and assorted greens. Each dozen was $19.99 and the lilies were $4 a stem. I got outta there with, what would cost $100 for a pre-arranged bouquet, for about $60 after tax. Bottom Line: Staff 5 stars. Product 5 stars. Price point 5 stars. These ladies rock. read more

Customer service is awesome. I'm a weekly customer and come in to purchase roses for my home. My little weekly splurge cause flowers life my spirits and make me happy. Unfortunately, I purchased a dozen red rose that wilted and died with it 25 hrs. I called the manager Angela and was immediately told I can come back for fresh roses. I've never had such great prompt service. When I went in to get my flowers, no questions were asked from the staff and greeted me with the upmost respect and courtesy. Not impressed. My now fiance has purchased flowers for me from at this location many times. I have also purchased flowers from this shop a few times. Never had a problem. I actually find this store to be nice and cute. Here's where I am concerned. Since my fiance had purchased flowers for me from this location I thought it would be a great idea to inquire about getting our wedding arrangements purchased from this location. I was given the number to person who does the arrangements and called during the week to get the conversation going and hear about a price range. I called 8 months in advance to my wedding. The person who is in charge of wedding arrangements was too busy to talk to me and it was reported that I was calling too early considering my wedding date. The person I was speaking to asked if I would like to be called back by the florist and I said yes. she asked for my phone number and I gave it to her. Surprise surprise I have yet to receive a call back from this store. I think over all it is bad business when you have a customer willing to order numerous arrangements for their wedding and you can not call them back. Needless to say, I found another florist who was more than willing to accommodate me well in advance to my wedding date to ***talk*** about what I would like for my wedding day. Who knew being too early on wedding planning was bad thing? And yes, I understand prices fluctuate depending on the season for flowers, but as a professional florist I would like to think you should be able to take orders anytime of the year and adjust pricing as needed.
