We always purchase our flowers here so I told my son to go there for a corsage. He was paying and wanted to keep it simple. I suggested a rose bc it was nice and relatively sturdy (avoid lilys, etc.). I was shocked when he said he got a single flower wrist corsage for $29 ($32.xx with tax). I looked at the website and saw a 3 rose wrist corsage for $34.xx and was confused. When we arrived I mentioned the website offering and was told "I don't know anything about that. There might be different prices due to seasonal issues with flowers." Another staff brought out the box and when we saw the tiny, delicate thing, I realized the problem. Orchids are a lot more expensive than roses. My son didn't know what he was ordering! He just wanted one flower and this was what was suggested. We paid for it and left. At home I noticed a marred petal. Given its delicate nature, I was worried the flower was not going to survive the evening For the sake of the customer, I suggest the following - ask what the event is. How active might be the recipient? - suggest a sturdier flower, or at least explain the differences. had I known an orchid was on the list, I would have steered him in a different direction - If they are asking for one flower, offer a range of prices. My son is cost-sensitive but doesn't know enough to ask a lot of questions, trusting the process. - make sure the staff knows what is being presented on the website. It's all A. Johnson to us, but when the sales staff is unaware of the different channels and the offering, plus acts negatively when asked, it's a bit off-putting. Give the staff time to peruse the site so it's a unified experience for the consumer. I see this as a learning experience for my son and a lesson in the prices of different flowers. I'm going with 3 stars bc it could have been better, but my son bears some responsibility bc he didn't ask enough questions. Update: I changed it to 4 stars bc he said she wore the corsage the entire evening, so it seems to survive. Though she didn't partake in the mosh pit, which definitely helped. read more

I have only been to this florist a few times in my life, but every time has been amazing. The staff does an amazing job at helping you find the perfect arrangement for whatever your occasion. I recently went to get an arrangement for my mom's birthday - 20 before they closed and 30 minutes before I needed to be at the party (bad son, I know!). I was already preparing my apologies for showing up so close to closing time, but the staff seemed completely unphased and were very welcoming. I told them the occasion and they immediately showed me all the arrangements available and the loose flowers with options to create my own. Fortunately, their pre-made arrangements were absolutely stunning and I had no trouble finding the perfect one. A Johnson has never let me down and their flowers always look healthy, fresh, and beautiful. This is not a florist that would ever display or offer wilted or browned flowers and for that I am grateful. My family and I ordered from this florist and our wreath were very disappointing and it was a disgrace to present such a small wreath. When we ordered online the description stated the wreath was 27 inches all around. When the florist called to confirm my order, she confirmed it would be 27 inches. During the funeral, the wreath was delivered. I was out running errands therefore I was not there when the delivery guy came by with the wreath. The wreath was not 27 inches all around. I call them right away as soon as I saw the wreath. I went home and grab my measuring tape and I measured it, it was only about 19 inches. I called right away to complain. When the florist came out, she's stuck some flowers to make the wreath bigger in size which was still not 27". If I was there when there when florist came out the second time, I would have totally requested that they take the wreath back for a full refund. I was not there, therefore I did call them back the second time and they had explained to me that they would have their manager call me back. If I could take pictures of the wreath and send it to them. After the funeral, I did send the pictures of the wreath to the florist shop. The manager called me back and apologized regarding the wreath. He was kind enough to give me a full refund because I was very unsatisfied with my wreath. This is the reason I am only giving it a one star. Other family members had also ordered from them as well I'm not quite sure what happened with their disputes. This is solely based on my experience. This would be my 1st time and my last time ordering from them. read more
