When spending that much money on flowers, I expect the BMW of bouquets, or at least a 2021 Honda Accord, not the 1991 Saturn. 1. The website states a local delivery fee is $7.95 and I was charged $12 for delivery 2 minutes away in the same town. That's what local means, right? 2. The flowers are NOTHING like what I ordered. I could have made a better bouquet going to Shaw's or even my own front yard. 3. When I spoke with the owner she said she was so busy with doing flowers for a funeral that my bouquet didn't get all the flowers. I'm sorry you're business is "thriving" but as a paid customer, the same quality of flower is expected for the living as well. 4. The flowers in the bouquet are not even in the flowers I ordered online. There are clearly 6 different flower varieties and I only got 3. Again, see picture. 5. I was not contacted about any substitutions to the flowers. She said she should have called me. She said the flowers on the site are "California flowers." I'm sensing someone needs to update their website, huh? 6. After multiple attempts to work with the owner, she said she would make a new bouquet. She did, and it's very nice. Had a friend order what was supposed to be a beautiful bouquet of flowers and the stock photo and what she got in real life was NOTHING like what she ordered (not even the same flowers.) After my friend discussed her concerns with Lily and asked for her money back she told her she would make her a new one BUT wants her flowers back in exchange for the new ones and REFUSES to drop them off until someone is home in order to do so. Look at the difference between the deluxe bouquet I ordered my mom and the skimpy, mostly filler (baby breath) bouquet that arrived. Plus the flowers smelled so foul, like rot, that they cannot even be in a room! How does someone get flowers to smell bad? That is a new one! The few roses that were included are already browning and starting to droop (bouquet arrived this afternoon)- awful customer service too. She would not take responsibility at all! Be careful ordering without seeing what she is sending! I won't make that mistake again. If I could rate this place 0, I would! I can not believe the flowers that were sent to my friend. It was NOTHING like the picture she had seen advertised online. It was suppose to be a warm, loving 'Welcome Home' gift and it looked like something she could've bought at your local convenient store. The OWNER's way of "apologizing" was by making a new batch of flowers in exchange of the first terrible one that was ALREADY GIVEN AS A GIFT. Excuse me? In the middle of a pandemic? I tried to do something nice for my mother's birthday. I bought a bouquet of flowers and was told it may not look the same but when I got it it looked completely different. I understand this virus limits the type of flowers they receive but it looked less full than the picture. The day I got them they already started to drop and die, so I decided to call and see if they can do anything. She basically brushed us off saying she can't do anything now but she will give extra flowers next time. I ordered a particular funeral arrangement from Lily. She had the pictured in front of her while we were discussing it. She told me she was going to put the plants in a ceramic dish . I said that was ok but I specifically asked her about the size dimensions and she told me they would be the same as the picture had. I do not recommend this florist. I had to send flowers to a friend in Revere for a sympathy gift. I live in Newburyport so am not familiar with Revere Floral shops. I searched on line and found "Flowers By Lily" and on her web site I saw a sweet basket with a handle, covered in English Ivy and full of colorful orange and hot pink roses, asters, chrysanthemums and alstroemerias. I paid $52.95 for the arrangement and $9.95 for delivery even though it was down the street. Well when I saw my friend at work she thanked me but she got nothing like what I ordered. Place an order called Cotton Candy for my wife on valentine and when it was delivered it wasn't the floral arrangement that I had order. They replace the arrangement with carnations instead. So I called and ask them if maybe the made a mistake. I ask them that it suppose to be white, pink and yellow rose arrangement and maybe they got it wrong. They lady said that they ran out of all of those roses and that she replaced them with more expensive flowers. Carnations!!! She think I dumb enough to believe her. Very frustrated with the lady. I ordered flowers from on behalf of my mom for her Aunt's funeral. We called Lily because of her close location to the funeral home and she had said she could make the arrangement we chose off the Teleflora website. When we got to the funeral, we looked for the flowers because none of them looked like what we ordered. I finally spotted a card with the Flower shop name and sure enough it had my mom's sympathy card attached. Not only did the arrangement not look anything like what we ordered, many of the flowers were dead. We couldn't help but notice another arrangement that came from Lily's Flower shop was also half dead with drooping and falling petals. My mother was so upset and called Lily the next day to get a refund or see if she would send the family a proper floral arrangement. Lily denied that the arrangement we took photo's of (with her business name on the card) were the flowers she sent. She did NOTHING to try to make it right. I called the day before a wake to order a funeral spray shown on the website. I chose this florist because it was near Vertuccio's Funeral Home. Lily didn't have the particular flowers that were in the picture. I explained that whatever she created needed to be a very special arrangement for someone that was 95 and a very sweet and kind woman. She assured me she would deliver a beautiful spray and explained the colors she would use. She told me I would be very happy and not to worry. She also asked if I wanted something written on the attached card and was willing to write our requested sentence expressing our thoughts about the deceased, not just 'with deepest sympathy, the xxx family." Lily spent a good amount of time with me on the phone and I never felt rushed or pressured. When we saw the spray at the funeral home, we were so pleased. It was absolutely gorgeous and we were 100% surprised at how perfectly it captured our vision! Thank you, Lily, for your wonderful work and how kind and helpful you were with our order.
