DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER FROM THIS FLORIST! THEY DELIVERED FLOWERS THAT MY GIRLFRIEND WAS ALLERGIC TO AFTER BEING WARNED AND CALLED ME A LIAR. I ordered a mixed bouquet by phone for my girlfriend for our 4 year anniversary to be delivered on July 2nd 2026. During the conversation I specified, when a mixed bouquet was suggested ,that it must have NO LILIES, after the lady on the phone repeated "okay no lilies" I explained that my girlfriend is allergic. After discussing that the bouquet will have lots of roses in it she takes payment of 280 dollars. On July 2nd I get a message from my girlfriend with pictures that the flowers arrived with a ton of lilies. I called flowers by Walter immediately and nobody answered. The voicemail stated they will not be back until the next week Tuesday the 7th. I left a message explaining the situation with my name and number to call back. They did not call back. I waited till Tuesday. No call back. Thursday I called them back for the second time figuring they would never call me back and was met with one of the designers. She stated that the note she received did not have any note about lilies but that she would have the person I talked to call me back. She then stated that she wished I called the same day to which I responded " I did no one answered I left a voicemail. " her response was "oh okay I havent listened to any of the voicemails yet. " Keep in mind we are a whole week later. 3 days after they have reopened. The lady then called me back and was immediately rude and hostile towards me. She told me I never specified no lilies and called me a liar and told me she would give me 25 dollars credit from the 280. She stated that I'm calling a week later despite the fact that she was told multiple times that I called the same day not even 5 minutes after the order was delivered and left a voicemail. I told her I did not expect the full 280 back as I understand the flowers were delivered and she has to pay for the flowers and everything else but I expect more than just 25 dollars. I did not want to cause an issue and was willing to give them a chance to make it right but after she again reiterated that I'm a liar and I was only going to get 25 dollars I responded "25 dollars is not even close to what I'm expecting I guess you can send that but-" and then she hung up on me. Their service was very rude. SHE COULD HAVE KILLED MY GIRLFRIEND, yet they acted like I was the liar and the criminal. Ive ordered flowers from many places and ive never had this bad of an experience. Take your money elsewhere to someone who appreciates it and will not belittle you after they make a mistake and refuse to accept it. Here at flowers by Walter the customer is always wrong! read more

I placed an online order for premium flowers housed in a blue truck that they advertise online on their website. Spent extra dollars on balloons as well. Paid well over $100. The store never fulfilled order. Called to check status. Got nothing but attitude from Laura. Tried to give her my order #, she refused to take it. Asked to speak with owner; Laura claimed she wasn't available. Asked Laura if she would be willing to put together something comparable - she refused and hung up on me. This store is fraudulent. I'm so sorry I have to Leave a review like this I'd give this place zero stars or maybe a fourth of a star but not even one star this florist shop is located in Racine Wisconsin and I have no idea really anything of what it was like my boyfriend had back surgery and I haven't been able to get over there and he was feeling kind of down so I went to send him flowers I looked and I found this place in Racine I there were many but I picked this one I asked for a basket of flowers a basket manly flowers like fall colors oranges I gave them the address and I repeated it three or four times she repeated it back to me I gave specific times between 9 AM to 9:15 PM or even 930 that this could be dropped off she took my credit card in the beginning I had said I wanted it around $50 or so she said sure no problem there was $10 for the bear I said I wanted a very small brown teddy bear and a balloon while to make a story short they lost the order he can't go up and down the steps because he just had back surgery so that time was vital well the time arrived and it never got there I assumed it was lost I called the office and found out that they had delivered it to the wrong people so I was going to get a new order and have it sent to him I was sure that that was a place that except in my order because I called the bank and they had cash the check the lady who was checking was extreme Remely rude and twice had told me that she had to finish this wedding order before she could even look up my order Long story short there's a lot more to this they found his order still in the truck and they delivered it when my boyfriend sent me a picture of what they sent the bill was $77.26 $77.26 all it was was a vase ask a long tall vase small vase with three red roses two purple flowers and two blue flowers and daisies is that manly to you I could'veWent to Pick N Save and bought this so I am leaving this review because I am just so disgusted I thought about canceling my charge card but they did sound some sort of flowers on oh yes they did have a get well balloon on there but how people can just rip us off is just unbelievable please don't go there there's other floor shops in Racine that you can go to and be treated much better if I can attach a picture of what this look like I swear to God you just Laugh read more

Earlier this week my boyfriend and I were celebrating our 2 year anniversary, nothing big - we just planned to get dinner and I said no need for presents or to buy me flowers (however don't all girls say that in a "you don't have to buy me flowers but I certainty do love flowers" kind of way). Really, I did not need anything and did not expect anything. Well I get to work and of course there is a beautiful fall themed boutique on my desk. I AM SO HAPPY. I am so impressed with the choice of flowers (crazy cool orange flowers standing out in the middle), colors, (the touch of purple in the orange/red bunch -perfect!), how the vase pulls the fall theme all together (It is pretty much screaming bring on the apple picking, hoodies, leaves changing pretty colors weather!), and how long they last. For the last few "life celebrations", my bf has surprised me with Flowers by Walter at work and I am always ecstatic. Every boutique has been unique and modern - nothing ever cliche. If I could give no stars, I would. My husband ordered flowers for me (through 1-800-flowers) and had them delivered to my work on September 15th (2016) for our anniversary. I didn't get them until September 16th, let me explain WHY...I only work until 3pm, the flowers were delivered at 3:30pm...when I was no longer there. The lady that delivered them just stood there at the front desk looking like she didn't know what to do. Then she asked the receptionist for my address so she could deliver them to my house. The receptionist is not allowed to give out any of the employees personal information, which I appreciate. The lady then stood there, again like she didn't know what to do. The receptionist told her that she would keep them there for me to recieve in the morning and the delivery lady left. I received my flowers the next morning and pulled the envelope from the flowers and saw MY PHONE NUMBER right on there! She could've just called and asked for my address!! And then, I opened the envelope...as if they didn't mess up enough, the card said, "Happy Birthday Baby"...happy birthday?! You've GOT to be kidding me! They couldn't even get THAT right!...The flowers were beautiful but unfortunately, we will never be getting flowers here again. Terrible. If I could've warned my husband before ordering them, I would've told him not to order from here anyway because every time my sister's husband orders flowers from here, they only live for two days.
