When placing the bridge for permanent, I felt a tingle and weakness to the tooth placement next to it. I adamantly spoke my concerns to which I was ignored and they continued the placement without a 2nd review. Now, the bridge, (so disgusted after the cost they charged), is breaking off bits of porcelain just brushing my teeth. And to it's final falling out of place, as no post was planted and no connected to tooth as should for strength. I went in person to address, called to address (person just ignored calls). Could it be person knew they did low-grade dentistry thus did not want to confront the facts and a fix? I do not recommend or support the workmanship or products they purchased to do this procedure. Having had bridges prior of other business for 15+yrs and still solid, I am totally disappointed. Therefore, I have found an excellent dental service who is very conscious of fit, product, patient concerns, care of teeth, and not as expensive yet, excellent dental skills, patient concerns. The only reason I came here was because we recently moved and I wanted a dentist closer to our new home. I loved my longtime dentist and had been seen just 8 months earlier for a routine cleaning and exam. I have also never had a cavity in my life. At my first visit here, I was told I suddenly had 9 cavities requiring fillings and that my wisdom teeth needed to be removed. Given my dental history, I was shocked and went back to my longtime dentist for an independent second opinion. They found ZERO cavities and told me my wisdom teeth do not need to be removed. Even more concerning, my husband was told by this practice that he had 12-13 cavities requiring fillings. After my experience, he also went to my longtime dentist for an independent evaluation. He was also found to have ZERO cavities. Between the two of us, this practice recommended approximately 21-22 fillings. Our second opinions found that ZERO were needed. My husband was also told here that one of his permanent canine teeth needed to be removed as soon as possible. Rather than rushing to extract a permanent tooth, our longtime dentist referred him to a periodontal specialist to determine whether the tooth can be preserved. A difference of opinion over one questionable area is understandable. Recommending 21-22 fillings between two people when subsequent examinations found zero cavities in either of us is an extraordinary and deeply concerning discrepancy. Had we not sought second opinions, we could have undergone extensive, irreversible dental work that our longtime dentist says we did not need. Needless to say, we will happily make the extra drive to our longtime dentist from now on. I absolutely do not recommend this practice, and based on our experience, I would be extremely cautious about choosing this office for your dental care.

It speaks volumes for Dr Corrella and his wife. It is evident that Dr Corrella has the kind of compassion for people that you really don't see anymore. I am a recent transplant to the area and had originally picked Tidewater Dentistry, Dr. Williamson and his staff because the dental insurance that I had was accepted by his office. I feel like I won the lottery. From the very first visit, they have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, welcome, and absolutely fearless. So much so, that I do not have insurance any longer and continue at this practice because they are so WONDERFUL! Also - they offer a discount if you are paying with cash or check - BONUS. There may also be other discounts available and all you need to do is call and ask. Staff has also commented they would be happy to help me go over insurance plans should I go that route again. I have NEVER been to a practice where I have been offered that help. Dr. Williamson is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful and kind. He spends as much time as you would like with you and thoroughly answers all questions. Also, I needed an 'emergency appointment' to have a crown re-glued before I was leaving on a trip. I was worried that I was going to have to pay for the visit and the procedure - that's the case at all. This is a practice where they do NOT nickel and dime you to death. Dr. Wilmer suggested I get a wisdom tooth pull even though it was not bothering me at almost 50…read moreyears old, during a routine cleaning. I went and got it pulled and had problems ever since! I haven't eaten on that side of my mouth for two years. I go to see him months after the pull and he tells me " it looks like whoever pulled the tooth cracked the tooth beside it" so he sends me to his friend (affiliate) she tells me there is no crack but she sees a cavity and has to do a root canal. I refuse the root canal because I showed no cavity on X-ray. So, I go to another dentist NOT affiliated with them and he tells me he sees NO cavity and NO crack. My old insurance was running out ironically around the time my tooth started hurting so I went back to him because he was close and really wanted to see what he says this time. I gave him a recap of everything that happened and of course this time he sees no cavity or crack. I had a cleaning scheduled, again trying to use coverage, but the billing lady called and gave me a price larger than expected so I questioned it. And in rude form ,as she always is ,she gives attitude and tells me if I have two insurances by law she has to charge me both deductibles even if one covers it. I checked with three other dentists and they say that's not true. So, I cancel the appointment. I will be calling the dental board to find out this information as well. I guess this office doesn't believe in patients advocating for themselves ,because after I get a letter stating they will not service me any longer. What a joke! I wasn't coming back there anyhow!!! I was using that insurance up quick that expired in 2 days for a cleaning. Now that my new insurance has started I was definitely looking for a dentist and office that doesn't give bad advice, refer to affiliates , and respect their patients' rights!
