I have been a patient here for 4 years and would never go anywhere else. I originally picked this dental office because it was conveniently located a few miles from my house. I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with them because they were so friendly and helpful. I was traumatized by the dental experiences I had as a child and young adult and I thought that those experiences were what I should expect at any dental office. Once I met Dr. Barganier, I realized how incorrect that idea was. His staff is so friendly and helpful and Dr. Barganier is the kind of doctor who will spend hours with you and answer any question you have. I came in to have significant dental work done with him and he talked me through all of my options and helped me make the decision that was right for me. NOT the decision that was most beneficial to his bottom line. I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of and have always felt relaxed and well-informed about any procedures I have undergone at this office. Dr. Barganier always remembers personal details about me and is always so welcoming and kind. He has never been patronizing (even though I'm sure I deserve many lectures about my dental care) and he always seems to genuinely care about me. He and his staff make sure I'm comfortable and not in any pain and he always tells me what to expect before he does it. I have recommended him to coworkers and family and all of them love him too. ​I've never felt so helpless in my entire life. My appointment was on 2/9. I was complaining of tooth pain. The doctor was not able to pin point the reason for my pain and referred me to Charleston Endodontics. She said she didn't need to prescribe antibiotics because my X-rays didn't show any inflammation. I explained to the doctor that the pain would come and go but when it does hurt my entire right side of my face hurts. I was told I could possibly need a root canal but it needed to be verified so that is why they were referring me to Charleston Endodontics ( I understood that) I left the office with my referral and one 800mg ibuprofen ( thanks to Jessica, she is awesome) That night the pain had intensified. Over the counter meds were not working. The pain was unbearable. I called the very next morning 2/10 at 7:06am to request a prescription for pain meds since the over-the-counter medicine was not working and the first available appointment with Charleston Endodontics was 4 days away. I was told by the receptionist that she will relay the message to the doctor and she will give me a call back. I called back after not received my call back after 1 hour because I'm in PAIN! And the office closes early on Fridays. THE NEXT RECEPTIONIST TELLS ME THERE HAS BEEN A PORTAL MESSAGE TO THE DOCTOR BUT SHE HASN'T RESPONDED. I will get a call when she responds. At that point I felt I was not valued as a patient. I felt like they were treating me as if I was a crazy person wanting strong pain meds. Well it is 3:55pm and still no callback and the office is now closed. How disappointing!!! I did end up going to Solomon Family Dentistry and got the help and answers I needed. They confirmed I needed a root canal and was surprised I wasn't offered pain meds and antibiotics. They were able to see some inflammation had already started. They even called Charleston Endodontics to see if they could see me today. I WOULDN'T recommend Carolina Complete Dental to my worst enemy. read more

I have had poor dental history. In spite of brushing twice a day and flossing my teeth are absolutely horrible. I went in for the first time in a few years knowing that I needed work done, but the quote they gave me is absolutely outrageous. Then, the hygienist asked me why I had so much decay- was I on drugs?! Mind you, I was well dressed and manicured. I do not look like a drug addict or have any behavior signs of one. Then she assumed I wanted to listed to r&b music but I politely told her the worship music she had on was fine because I am a Christian. I was blown away! I don't think I will be going back here. I have even called a few times trying to schedule dental work and they always give me a hard time and ask me fifty million questions before placing me on hold. I personally think this entire office is amazing. Everyone is always attentive and puts me at ease.

The people that work at this office seem great- I saw Dr. B, I believe (The younger guy). I went in for a consult about dental implants. They were very helpful in pointing me in the right direction & letting me know what my best move was for what I had going on. There's a really nice finance lady too who can explain everything & see what works best for you like actual monthly figures. The doctor was also very personable and down to Earth as was the hygienist. They really took the time to explain everything and were super great! If you have the money to get the dental implants, this definitely seems like a great place to do it at! read more

Don't expect a call back if you have a problem and you won't be disappointed. I've been waiting for a "call back on tues" for over three weeks. Even with a sharp edge cutting my tongue to pieces, It waited until my next appt. I have also asked multiple times for an itemized bill. I actually saw another dentist and paid cash to get an opinion about the work done. It confirmed my fears. I guess it's time to approach this another way. read more

This is one of the best practices I've ever been to. My father found this place about two years ago and recommended it to me after having a bad experience with a dentist on James Island. Over the past two years that I have been coming to this practice, I've had a bit of work done. They found two cavities that my other dentist did not find after I complained several times about sensitivity. They showed me and explained to me the process. I've seen every dentist in this office and they are all exceptional. The front desk staff is great and knowledgeable of the products they sell and the hygienist are also great! One of the things I like most about this practice is the quality of service, whether it's checking in, asking a question about a product, or being checked by the dentist. I called in on a Monday about either an infection or my wisdom teeth poking through and they were able to see me next day even though I was not able to see my main doctor. They have gained a patient for life! read more

First dental visit went well, no issues. Second visit was awful! I checked into my appointment, and I waited 30 minutes over my appiopntment time, I figured they were runinng behind, but when my phone rung and it was the front desk lady calling me to see if I was on my way (I knew then they were very disorganinzed), as I was looking at her she said Oh I forgot to check you in! A month after my apptiontment I recieved a bill from my second dental visit, so I called to speak with billing and the office mananger told me not to worry about it she will re submitt my claim, time went by and I recieved another bill, so I called back and they told me the insurance is still processing the claim, finally 4months later they told me that they aren't in network with my insurance company and that I needed to pay for my dental visit, I was blown away by a $400 dollar bill because I have dental insurance and my first visit was covered (per the office manager). The front desk lady called and told me she will be sending me a bill in the mail, never recieved it, however I did recieve a bill from a collection agency that they sent me to, never did they give me the chance to pay my balance in the office.
