On vacation from Texas and transmission went out for the fourth time from rebuilds in Texas. Same…read moreproblem, forward clutch pack failed...again. Had truck towed to Quality Transmissions. Met Richard, the owner, and he have me a tour of his shop. Most transmission shops are parts replacers and their diagnostic tools are a visual inspection. Richard has the equipment to completely rebuild valve bodies to make them as good as new. Richard rebuilt my valve body (big part of my trannys problem). He also said the forward clutch pack was built with inadequate clearance and there were parts missing from the overdrive section. Richard kept me informed of the progress throughout the rebuild and the final price was cheaper than he quoated when you factor in the upgraded torque converter I requested. Have about 500 miles on rebuild, 300 of which is pulling a 10k 5th wheel. Three year warranty too. Take it to Quality to get a high quality rebuild at a very reasonable price. Thanks, Dale

These guys did really good work on my first car I brought up there but it was definitely expensive…read more The reason I'm giving this a one star review is due to the work they did on the other car I brought up there. They were nice to me over the phone for at least a little bit until I began being complicated. The reason I was being complicated was due to the overpricing to change out ignition coils that I could do myself and did do after, it was also due to waiting days to get any news about what was going on with the car, and the amount they charged us to replace the alternator (we brought one in) and to flush the coolant was around $760. This price is ridiculously high for an alternator that is on the top of the engine bay. Prices here are really high specifically the labor, arguably not competitive. While it was on me for taking this car to somewhere I know is more expensive this was the only mechanic shop I really went to so I did not feel comfortable sending my mom to another mechanic shop while I was off at school. I will say Stacy (I believe is her name) is really nice and was really sweet to me. While this work was done sometime around August of last year I really do not understand how they would not inform us that the ignition coil connectors on the front side of the engine were so broken they would not stay in. I did repeatedly informed them that I believe those are the ones that needed replace and I was under the impression that those were the ones they would be replacing. Additionally the wires in the connector for the cam position sensor was very lose inside the connector to the point one bump knocked it lose and showed what is a knotted wires that was shoved in the connector. While I don't blame them completely for this I believe this should have been found while replacing the connector in the back of the engine bay. We eventually had to call out another mechanic to come and redue the work that they had done and honestly Andy's garage's work felt rushed and did not look anywhere close to what we paid even though they had the car for quite some time. Additionally the mechanic was 1/3 of the price as here and was upfront about everything and honestly looked like his work was worth the $1500 I paid here. Finally, while they have been really nice to me, they were rude to my brother who brought the van up there to get fixed and did not listen to my mom about anything that she said was a concern about the vehicle. I definitely will not be coming back.

I made an appointment online for 10 a.m. however I dropped the vehicle off the night before. Received notice by 8:40 a.m. that the car was ready for pickup! Now the really great part is the peace of mind that we're left with. A simple oil change and tire rotation also included a detailed inspection report of our vehicle. 2 areas of concern were found, both being fluids that were topped off at no additional cost. STAY AWAY!! Avoid at all cost! Short story…read more I bought some really expensive lights for my brand new Rubicon Hard Rock. Took it there to get installed along with a light bar. I spent over $1,000 just to install the lights. I paid lots of money for my jeep and wanted to get professional work. But honestly everyone can do a better job at their garage. They spent all day installing my lights and when I left it was dark. The next day I went to check it out, and I could see wires going over the motor and visible on the front grill. Very unprofessional! Drove back so they can hide the wires better. Few months later one of the headlights went out. And a check engine light came on. Keep in mind this is a BRAND NEW RUBICON! I took it to the dealership to see what the problem. The dealership informed that Elite when installing my lights tap in to my ALTERNATOR! Killing its life spend by half. On a brand new jeep. This time I went to a different shop and they took the pictures below. The new shop were in disbelief how bad of job Elite did. So they had to re wire all the lights again, so I paid for another installation. I wish I never had to deal with Elite again, but this past week, my windshield broke. So when I went to replace the light bar was in the way. So me and the glass guy spent 2 hours trying to get the screw of which the guys at Elite had damage so bad that stripped the entire screw and it won't come out. The dealership won't touch their bad job. By the way the bolts of the light bar are all rusted. So now I have to drive all the way back so they can undo their shitty job! I am actually thinking about filing a law suit if I don't hear back from the owner.
