I made an appointment online for 10 a.m. however I dropped the vehicle off the night before. Received notice by 8:40 a.m. that the car was ready for pickup! Now the really great part is the peace of mind that we're left with. A simple oil change and tire rotation also included a detailed inspection report of our vehicle. 2 areas of concern were found, both being fluids that were topped off at no additional cost. Finally got a return call at 3:40 and told "We don't work on Dodge rear ends". They knew Mon. what I had and what the issue was and didn't say a word about not working on Dodge. Kept my truck for 2 days knowing they weren't going to touch it. WTF? That's 2 days it could have been at another shop getting repaired. Be patient if you leave a couple voicemails with days in between a call back (or weeks). When you're good it means you're busy. Then stop worrying once you're booked because this will be a less expensive journey than usual. You'll get a legit assessment of what needs done, and no pressure to change those filters or wiper blades (or timing belt) if you don't want to. No frills means low overhead; gravel lots with a few cars like the windows-down 2-door Mercedes parked means you're not paying for all the marketing. It's just car-fixing like it should be. Last time I went in thinking I needed a complete wiper reservoir replacement. Nope, just a wiper fluid hose for pretty cheap. We'll keep coming back since cars don't fix themselves. Currently I'm not at all fretting about our teenager's car we just had towed in after stalling in an intersection. How bad could it be? And of course I'll continue wondering how much he'd charge to get that old Mercedes in his lot back on the road. Probably just needs new wipers and an air filter, once we get that driver-side window closed.

Also there might be a short or worse. He stated to take it back to Pep Boys since there is still a warranty on the coils and spark plugs that caused more of a problem. Lynn could of taking advantage but he didn't. He is honest and knows what he is doing. He does not take advantage of people. I will use him again for big and small jobs and will refer him. His son was with him the day they came both were professional, courteous, friendly and on time.

These guys did really good work on my first car I brought up there but it was definitely expensive…read more The reason I'm giving this a one star review is due to the work they did on the other car I brought up there. They were nice to me over the phone for at least a little bit until I began being complicated. The reason I was being complicated was due to the overpricing to change out ignition coils that I could do myself and did do after, it was also due to waiting days to get any news about what was going on with the car, and the amount they charged us to replace the alternator (we brought one in) and to flush the coolant was around $760. This price is ridiculously high for an alternator that is on the top of the engine bay. Prices here are really high specifically the labor, arguably not competitive. While it was on me for taking this car to somewhere I know is more expensive this was the only mechanic shop I really went to so I did not feel comfortable sending my mom to another mechanic shop while I was off at school. I will say Stacy (I believe is her name) is really nice and was really sweet to me. While this work was done sometime around August of last year I really do not understand how they would not inform us that the ignition coil connectors on the front side of the engine were so broken they would not stay in. I did repeatedly informed them that I believe those are the ones that needed replace and I was under the impression that those were the ones they would be replacing. Additionally the wires in the connector for the cam position sensor was very lose inside the connector to the point one bump knocked it lose and showed what is a knotted wires that was shoved in the connector. While I don't blame them completely for this I believe this should have been found while replacing the connector in the back of the engine bay. We eventually had to call out another mechanic to come and redue the work that they had done and honestly Andy's garage's work felt rushed and did not look anywhere close to what we paid even though they had the car for quite some time. Additionally the mechanic was 1/3 of the price as here and was upfront about everything and honestly looked like his work was worth the $1500 I paid here. Finally, while they have been really nice to me, they were rude to my brother who brought the van up there to get fixed and did not listen to my mom about anything that she said was a concern about the vehicle. I definitely will not be coming back.

Little did I know, they would call me a few hours later to let me know that my car is already done, and it will be about $200 less expensive than what they had originally quoted me! Who does that?! Furthermore, the service team failed to note the age discrepancy of the other tires already on the vehicle, and neglected to inform me of the shop's free rotation policy, which is critical for proper tire maintenance. As a direct result of these omissions, the newly installed tires have experienced premature, uneven wear and require complete replacement after only 7,000 miles. When I brought this issue to the shop's attention, the only resolution offered was a $30 discount on a new set of tires. This token gesture does not adequately address the premature failure of the product caused by the shop's failure to provide standard professional advisement at the time of installation.
