Stunningly poor customer service. I needed to make sure my beard was trimmed and straight for my Son's wedding so I went in and booked an appointment in person. When I showed up and told her what I wanted the stylist informed me that they had booked me for only a 15 minute trim and nothing more. I explained that I needed to make sure everything was straight for the wedding and was told "no". I asked if they could straighten it out and I'll trim it myself to which they responded "no." Everyone makes mistakes but the thing that really got me is that they made no effort to rebook me or come up with solutions. Simply we made a mistake and you will have to contend with it. Great stylists, but they just don't know much about business. I doubt the place will be around for much longer with this customer service. read more

Today I went to style my hair and found a whole chunk of hair that had been missed. When I pay with my credit card, the machine asks for 25% tip at the least. I have to choose custom to give standard 20%. 20% is good, especially on a $30 haircut. This is a form of shaming since everyone knows what's going on with the additional button pushing and time it takes to do a custom tip. You are trying to manipulate me by shame to give more than a fair and standard 20% tip. This is a disgusting thing to do to your customers. I will not come here again. read more

Bare minimum haircut. Felt like I was being rushed and couldn't tell the girl cutting my hair exactly what I wanted because it was so fast paced. When she was combing my hair she literally ripped out chunks and was not being cautious whatsoever. They were confused about their own prices, and was disrespectful towards another customer when I was there. They refused her service because her hair was "tangled". Isn't a barbershops job to fix hair that needs help? I am writing this review because I don't want other customers to make the same mistake I did. read more

Aaron is great! I get pretty nervous about letting people cut my hair because historically, stylists don't listen, but Aaron was AMAZING! they don't do good cuts, chamae k it's was the one that do my hair, she look so insecure about the cut that I ask for. I have to stop her at the middle of the cut because it's was totally different that what I want, they charge me for everything plus TIPS! I didn't want to pay tips but they charge me anyways. If you working for a costumer you should do what the costumer ask for, if you are not able to do it or don't know how to do it please let the costumer know and switch for someone that can do it, I have to pay almost 50 dollars for a bad cut and bad service, I'm so mad right now. read more

How is it Floyd's has the audacity to say they give excellent service when their Barbers state their schedule online and you book appointment, only to be called 35 minutes before appointment and told "Your Barber went to go do something for 2 hours, so we need to reschedule you and we don't have any other appointments available today". Excellent service is when your Barbers honor their commitments to serving your customers. Now I would certainly understand if there was a family emergency...yet somehow had to go do stuff does not convey emergency to cancel an appointment 35 minutes before appointment. I've had 1 cut with them and it was good. Fair price, nice service, good products. I had an appointment the other day and needed a mask. I was told masks cost $2. I thought they were kidding. They weren't. So I went to my car to get one of the several that I have. On my way back, I decided not to do business with them. A bit Karen-like of me, but, the way I look at it is, "I wouldn't have treated a customer of mine like that and don't want to be treated like that as a customer." You can only abuse prospective clientele if you actually have some hold on the market, which Floyd's in Superior does not have. There are a dozen other shops within 2 miles. read more

Just had one of the most unpleasant haircuts in years. The only thing i can come up with is that the stylist did not want to be there. Form the moment i sat down she was patronizing is the best way to describe it. I am not an expert on haircutting, so i go to the people that presumably are. I wont go into all of the details here, but suffice it to say i wont be going back. The worst part about it is that the time before was one of the best haircuts i have had in a long time. I did not get her name but hopefully the floyds management will read this review and find out. I go to Floyd's regularly for full straight razor shave and haircut. Mami is an excellent barber and their prices are reasonable.

I was visiting from out of town and needed a cut. Good haircut and friendly, outgoing staff. Odd location just outside a large fitness/sports facility if you don't know where to look but parking was plentiful. Would go back if I am in the area again and my head is looking like a tattered scrub brush and needs help. read more

Let me start by saying this. I'm not the type of person to write reviews, but my experience here was so terrible that I felt I should share it. People who work here don't care about listening to their customers requests on how they want their hair cut or even making sure that they do an okay job cutting your hair (at the bare minimum). I had Chamae cut my hair and she royally screwed it up. There's two distinct layers that were not supposed to be there and there's a bit over an inch of difference between the two layers. The line splitting the two is a harsh uneven line that's very obvious. Nothing is even on my hair and she didn't listen to what I wanted to do with my hair, but looking back I'm lucky that she didn't because now I can go somewhere much better to get my hair fixed without going bald trying to fix her mistakes. There were two women sitting at the desk who saw my hair when I went to pay and also looked over occasionally during the cut and didn't say anything about how badly it was cut, so that gives off the impression that nobody there cares about giving good service and just want the money. Chamae also took 30 minutes longer than was scheduled (60min) to cut my hair, only to mess it up. At first, I thought she was going to do a great job since she was taking so long because I thought she was being thorough and particular, but seeing how my hair looks I don't know what made it take that long. She was also yanking at my hair and head throughout the entire haircut. My hair kept getting tangled partially because the bottom was damaged from prior bleaching and coloring, which is why I was getting it cut, and also because she was causing it to get more tangled by not properly using a brush or comb. She didn't get around to using detangler to help prevent this issue until the last 10-15 min of the haircut, meaning that my hair was getting yanked for 1hr 15-20min. Terrible customer service leading to major disappointment. I left this place in tears and couldn't get out fast enough. The shop was closing, and so I wasn't able to ask someone else to fix my hair before I left, however I didn't exactly have a desire to have someone else from the shop touch my hair anyway. I am beyond disappointed, I've never ever had my hair cut this badly, especially from Floyd's since I've always had good service and good haircuts from Floyd's. read more
