I will keep thus relatively simple. I'm still shopping for a new barbershop that I can go to on a regular, the one I like has gotten so busy and popular/in demand that on the weekend there is already a line before they even open (Northglenn Barbershop). So I tried contacting a couple of places ,one never answered the phone and another one (knockouts), said it was $35 to get in the chair, but it included 2 hair washes? So anyway I've had this place in the back of my mind for awhile. Even though it's not close to me I made it a point to be in the area just so I could try it out. Westminster location, (Church Ranch and pretty much Wadsworth blvd) in the shopping center next to the LQ. At this time they are by appointment only. $21 for a cut and $24 for a "fade" which not sure what the difference is I thought I got a fade, lol. Anyway short wait past my appointment time and I got the feeling alot of regulars come in as I picked up on some small talk as the 3 Barbers, 2 woman and 1 man worked thier skills. When it was my turn I was cut up by Hannah. Straight to it asked me what and how I wanted my cut and even double checked on the number of clipper I asked for because as she said" that's pretty short" my reply was well if worse case scenario it will grow back!. Nothing fancy about this place but it's by no means a dump either, it's a calm atmosphere. Honestly I was so relaxed when she was cutting my hair I could have fallen asleep. I did enjoy and like my cut as my wife did as well, and you know the saying " happy wife , happy life" So I would definitely recommend this establishment maybe you'll like it , maybe you won't. The spot I used to go to kept increasing prices, since the beginning of the pandemic. They're at $50.00 now. This had me thinking of trying new places out. I tried A+ out from a recommendation from a friend. Especially seeing as I wanted to chop all my hair off. I just wanted a skin fade, with a 2 on top. Basically a skin fade buzz cut. I wasn't trying to pay $50.00 for a glorified buzzcut. I made an appointment with Thanh. It was easy to set up, and find. I really like the way my cut turned out. I live in California but my kids desperately needed a cut that I took them both to A+Barber through a referral. Review is based on two children's haircut. My daughter's hair was thick so I asked Trish to thin it out and just take an inch off. There was so much hair on the floor but if you looked at my daughter's hair, the length was still there. It's been a week since the hair cut and I can't get over how perfect my daughter's hair is. So easy to brush and maintain without knots. My son's hair was so long. He let it grow a whole year and finally agreed to get a cut. Trish was patient with my son that there were no tears!!!! LOL That's a bonus. Cut was so amazing, my son looked like a different kid, but finally I can see his face again. If I am ever in Colorado again, I will go back. Was looking for a new barber/stylist and came across A+ Barbershop online and via Yelp. Founds lots of good reviews with 4-5 stars. I particularly saw that Thahn received several positive compliments, so I booked an appointment with him. Got a great haircut!!! He was not only a genuinely nice guy, but he was extremely meticulous and thorough in taking care of me. AND..their prices are fantastic! I was shocked at how low their prices are. I love this shop. Clean. The owner is super good at cutting. I used to go to Colorado Classic Barbers but they hired too many amateurs. Trish's techniques are legit. The shop is clean. And she's from California. I tried So many other places, but it's like no matter what I tell them I get a high fade. I even got a Mohawk once when I asked for a low fade. So happy with my haircut ! Ilene is sooo friendly and I enjoyed the conversation we had while she was cutting my hair. It was my first time here as my husband found this place driving by and I assumed it was a barber shop only men's haircuts. My husband told me that a hairstylist told him she cut women's hair as well when he went for his haircut. I was unsure but I walked in and Ilene said she could cut my hair, I needed it ! With a baby at home I had not had any time to attend to my hair. Ilene cut my hair so well and gave me her specialty cut that she is known for. Long textured layers. Really great and convenient spot in Westminster - plenty of free parking and they welcome walk-ins, even on a Saturday!! Wait time looked to be about 20-30 minutes while I was there at noon on Saturday (which speaks to their already popular status, since they opened about 10 months ago!) Efficient, clean, friendly, and lots of people coming in and out throughout my visit. I didn't know they did women's cuts, but after my husband found this salon a few months ago, he mentioned they are more than just a barbershop- they do mens cuts, women's cuts, highlights and coloring, and kids cuts! I figured I would give it a try. Nice salon, complimentary tea and coffee, talented hair stylists, and really satisfied overall with my fresh cut! Not to mention, they offer some of the best prices in the Denver area - $16 for my husbands cut, $40 for women's wash, cut, and blow dry! You can't beat it. read more

We love coming here! Trish is absolutely amazing. We've lived here in this area for about 4 years and struggled to find anyone to cut my sons hair. He has very thick straight hair, so not many people know how to cut his hair. They struggle and end up butchering it. We found A+ barbershop on yelp and have yet to look back! Went here a few weeks ago and asked to for partial highlights. I have never received such horrible hair coloring in my life (worse than the hair cuttery). The roots were all done at different lengths and the bleach bled because she continued to mess with the foils. I left thinking it looked good because she had insisted on blow-drying it out even though I said she didn't have to (I'm thinking to cover up her mistakes). When I got home and did my normal part, I found the bleach had bled (looked like cheetah prints and the color started at different lengths from my roots - like a staircase!!). I called immediately to ask for my money back and she argued with me. I went to a different salon to get it fixed- all the hair dressers there were shocked that they had let me walk out like this. I had to call back multiple times after they never called back and said the owner said I could come in to get it fixed (why would let the same person fix my hair? ha!). I said no, just give me my $40 back and they refused and we argued. Facts are facts - don't let this salon color your hair. Maybe they should stick to men's haircuts and keep it simple. Bad customer service and horrible quality. Nice people at first but very RUDE. She yelled at me and hung up. I didn't have to make this review, and it's not the money that I care about. It's the principle of doing bad business that upsets me. I would give a 0 star review if I could. read more
