I want to commend the owners of Fluff and fold. I have my own washer and dryer but occasionally I have need of a laudromat. This one is the best in town! I am a senior and sometimes did not feel very safe going into a laudromat service and spending time sitting there waiting for my clothes to finish. Never had that feeling at this laudromat. There is someone at the desk and always clean and nice inside. This one is my go to place! read more

Asked a few weeks back for laundromat recommendations and got this location most. My comforter is too big to wash at home and D had some items too dirty the owners and workers were so helpful and location is being renovated so very clean and updated, comfortable as well. Cleanest laundromat ever! I had a couple of loads to wash and stopped here for convenience. There is staff here for there wash & fold service, that we're helpful but the place is clean. Even while I was here I observed them continue to clean all the handles, counter tops and floors. Great place read more

Great place to get your laundry done grest prices new machines , all working none out of order. Place is clean and well lit. Met the owner great guy always someone ther to assist in any way . if you forgot your supplies they have llenty for sale there at great prices . Biggest thing dryers are all hot and dry clothes quickly . There is the added plus of no scary people roaming around outside. Very safe. They have so many machines and the machines are big and clean. There is also staff on duty and the service is great. The prices are also reasonable. My favorite laundry mat in the Modesto area. Friendly staff, reasonably clean inside. Bathroom has finally been upgraded and everything works. Only complaint would be when waiting for it to open the employees seem to average 10 minutes or more late. read more

I was doing my Laundry today and needed to break a 10 dollar bill to use in the quarter dispenser and I was told WE DON'T MAKE CHANGE - not only have they done it for PAYING customers BEFORE...but a poor business move...to deny such a thing to PAYING customers - I wasn't someone that just walked in off the street and asked for it - this is the kind of thing that Pisses people off so bad they go spend their money somewhere else read more

While my boyfriend has his qualms about this laundromat. I LOVE IT. They're they're super clean, cheaper than our last place, and very friendly. Laundromats always make me feel awkward, but they were really nice. I felt bad we finished up a bit past closing, but they didn't seem terribly bothered. Seems to be a family run business. This location is small but well kept. Has a bathroom and any soap needs for sale up front. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that the employee does not wear a mask and does not enforce the patrons to wear a mask during these hard times. But otherwise very nice people. read more

My washer took a crap on me so I ended up at Fluff and Fold until the part comes in. What can I say besides Fluff & Fold is your average dingy laundry mat. Dirty chairs, depressing atmosphere....I couldn't wait to get out of there. They have 3 sizes of washers ranging from regular to extra large for 3.75. Unfortunately every other dryer was out of order and I am not exaggerating. Every-other-one which made it a pain when I was trying to watch my laundry. The reason I give this place 2 stars is because the lady that worked in there was helpful and polite. read more

The problem with most laundromats is the environment. Is your wash going to be safe without you there or do you have to sit there and wait while watching your load? I thought about taking this to a closer laundromat but with that in mind I knew it was going to be like watching paint dry so I looked online and found this place. They were very nice as soon as I walked up. They had many options of soap and fabric softener as well as if it was needed the same day that was asked in the beginning. It's not the cheapest place you can go to but for the piece of mind of dropping your laundry off and you have the freedom to do whatever while it washes and is folded you can't beat it. I had a large blanket that was too big to go in my washer making me have to take it to a laundromat and spent some time with my son in the meantime while it was being washed. After a reasonable amount of time I came back and it was perfect timing. As soon as I parked I received a text that it was ready. I would definitely go there again and recommend them to all that would be willing to pay to have their laundry done. On a side note you can also wash your clothes on your own if that's what you choose. There is staff onsite if you did have any issues which is also unlike most laundromat's. read more

This was my first laundromat experience and it wasn't good. The place had a bunch of machines that were out of order, there was no AC, and there was a strong odor (smelled like poop, literally). It was also extremely expensive for the quality of machines/establishment. The only thing that made it OK was that it wasn't crowded and the one girl working at the time was very nice. I probably won't choose this place again, however. read more

Been here multiple times as they recently changed their machines over to where everything is done thru an app. They stated it's much better so you don't have to bring quarters. Went tonight and put all clothes in 4 washer machines with soap. Went into app to start cycles and the app says can't connect. Spoke with the on-site worker and he said their system is overloaded. He ended up calling the manager/owner who told him that everyone will just have to use quarters. No signs stating app is temporarily not working. I last had a issue with the app and the lady working was able to turn the machine on from behind the counter in which I was very grateful. I asked this guy if he can turn it on for me and then when the system is back up and running they can charge me, he said no. They were going to make me take all my clothes out of machines and leave or I could go to their ATM, pay the $4 fee and withdraw cash to use their machines. Definitely not the customer service I expected after coming here many times and paying $4-$9 per wash cycle. read more

I have been going there once a week for about a year. Today I went in to pick, walk in, girls says "can I help you? Me: I'm here to pick up, see my clothes, grab the bag and put them on the counter. Girl needs to check the clothes out. "Fine, I have some clothes on hangers too, so I grab them and put them on the counter too. She's say "I need to check them out" me: that's fine, I'm just trying to be helpful, not like I'm walking out the door. SAY thank you, walk out, owner comes out to my car, in my face, saying " we don't want our customers harassing our employees " WTH, " I didn't, your harassing me, your in my face, IM NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN" He felt the need to come outside, to my car, in front of my daughter just to loose a $60-80 a week customer. Needs to get a grip!! Employees had always been nice, just bad management! read more

I just moved and this was the closest laundromat to my house. The lady working there, Leah, was very nice. The last wash is at 7 pm because they close at 8 pm. I arrived at about 7:15pm and she still let me wash and dry my belongings. I noticed she was playing late 90s and early 2000s R&B music. I felt like I was in a JLo music video with the hair rollers on my head. A 90s show sitcom was playing on the television and I felt like I was at home. The place smelled nice and Leah stayed 15 mins after they closed to let me finish drying. I will definitely return to wash and dry again wearing hair rollers on my hair because that's the thing to do. read more

NEW OWNERS. Used them while traveling through Modesto on a longer trip. Outstanding drop off wash, dry and fold service! And surprisingly inexpensive. New owners have improved the facility and the service is unbeatable. $1 per pound, 3 and 1/2 hours - clothes were clean and folded well, and all shirts and pants were on hangers. Would definitely use again. P.S. When I first called the number on Yelp, it was disconnected so I thought this place might be out of business. Turns out the new owners have a new phone number. The service is awesome! The attendant is very helpful to everyone. She shows us how to start the machines and recommends a different machine if it will be better for our needs. It does not feel like we are a bother to her. It's cool inside, restroom for customers, wifi password and parking in the storefront. They have gotten a little expensive, I have not been there in a while. A lot of broken down washers and dryers and the place is just kind of run-down needs to have a lot of money put into it to make it the way that it once was long ago. Florida homeless in the area too so beware! read more

Although there are several laundromats to choose from in Modesto, I really like this one in particular. First and foremost it is family owned. Second, it's always clean. There is always somebody there it's never unattended . If you have a problem with a washer or dryer they're always more than happy to help you . I'm actually sorry to be moving out of the area because this is one of the few places that I will miss going to. Because this place is family owned, I always feel safe. I know that nobody's going to let drug dealers or gang bangers hang outside the door; and I never feel threatened there. I really hope the best for this place and the family that owns it. read more

This place is my life saver. I have 2 jobs plus I am a law student and I have responsibilities in the court as part of my education leaving little time for household chores. I give them my and my 2 kids laundry to do 2 weeks at a time sometimes it is 7 baskets full and it's done in a day folded hung up ironed whatever is needed all I need to do is take it home and put it away. Maria and her husband are always friendly. They have never lost any of my clothes which was a huge fear of mine. I couldn't do what I do without these guys! read more

Most of the washers and dryers need repairs. Over half on the lighting in the place doesn't work so it's hard to see when you're applying spot remover to your clothes. The lady has been saying that they are waiting for parts or service, over last several months, no repairs, and the washers and dryers are still not fixed. We're going somewhere else. read more
