I would not recommend any aesthetician who prescribes Cosmelan. Cosmelan is a medical grade product and should be prescribed by a physician in a physicians office, with daily monitoring using photos. Shekinah offered me Cosmelan which horrifically irritated my skin after 3 days usage, and she told me to use for 14 days straight. I ended up going to a doctor's office and had to have multiple oxygen treatments to calm my skin. (The doctor's office said they prescribe no more than 2 days usage per week.) So run the other way to someone who overcharges ($1,300 per kit) and then pretends to be very knowledgeable like an MD. read more

Where do I even begin?! First of all, I'm not the kind of girl that usually enjoys a facial only because I get antsy, thinking of all the stuff I need to get done that day or the next day. But facials with Shekinah are the exception to the rule. And it's strange that she is the exception because her facials are the longest I've ever had because of her meticulous attention to detail. She doesn't finish until she's satisfied that she will have you leaving with the best skin possible for that session. You can tell when someone is just going through the motions but Shekinah has a true passion for skincare and making people not only feel pampered, but also confident and beautiful. You are in good hands (pun intended) with her and she had a touch unlike anyone I've ever met. Every facial is different as her hands intuitively just know exactly what I need. She is definitely an empath and beyond nurturing so that certainly translates in her unique style. While your needs vary from facial to facial, you can always count on a luxurious experience that will leave your skin so soft and glowy. I love that she never tries to push anything that you don't need or hound you to buy products. She will give you her recommendation and leave it up to you. Sometimes she will just tell you to keep doing what you're doing if the protocol she had previously given you is still giving your skin the best possible results. I appreciate how honest and thorough she is. To be honest, I've paid far more for treatments with little to no results and a sub par, generic experience. Shekinah's treatments blow them out of the water and to be honest, she could be charging double what she does for her basic facials (which are anything but basic) and it would be completely acceptable. But she thinks everyone deserves to have beautiful skin and it really goes to show how much she loves what she does and her clients whose lives she changes by giving them the tools to look and feel their best. read more

Shekinah is a MAGICAL woman to say the least I can't believe how nice my skin looks!! So much smoother, my redness is basically gone all day and I haven't broken out at all even with my N95 mask on!! Maybe one or two right now because of my cycle but I'm so happy with all my products I don't even wear makeup anymore just my tinted sunscreen as foundation, and I'm only a few weeks in!
