This is a long overdue review, due to me being more of the word-of-mouth generation than of the social media set. However, given I have been going to Jady's monthly for 30+ years, which clearly speaks for itself, I felt it was time to get with the program and give Mady the review she so richly deserves. My initial visit all those years ago was for acne, which was resolved way back when, and is no longer an issue. I got introduced to Mady (The owner of Judy) years back. Let me tell you, she is simply THE BEST! Her products are like miracles in a jar! I don't care how much you spend on department store brands, they simply will not compare to Mady's. She is a chemist by trade and makes her own products (she also carries some major brands). Mady treats everyone and their skin with love and expertise that one simply won't find anywhere else. I KNOW my skin looks great for my age and I know it's not just genetics. I just read my ancient review and all the things I said before are still true: This is a comfortable place where I actually enjoy going - with wonderful service.  Mady, the owner, is an unbelievable find!   Although she's better than any I've encountered, she's more than an aesthetician - her training is beyond that.  She delights in working in her lab to create new products based on the latest science and what she's seen work from her years of experience.  She applies her knowledge of other areas to both her products and treatments, as well.  She treats her clients like family with the level of care she provides.  And she really (really!) knows what she's doing, so even though I'm an avid researcher, I gave in to her advice without question years ago!  I also feel like I get a great bargain with Mady - her prices are fair and compare favorably to places with good reputations.  (Once you've been, you'll love what you get and you can buy packages to save a lot.)  As for her skin products - well, there I know I save a lot of money because I never, ever have things that didn't work stacking up here at home.  I use them all, so there's no waste.  (Unlike in my hair product closet!!!)  I think I have good genetics, but I KNOW Mady has made a tremendous difference in the way I look - people always think I'm younger than I really am and tell me that I have a "good complexion." Could I love Mady or Jady Facial more? No, probably not. If you have skin problems or if you just want a facialist you can trust I highly recommend going here. I've been going every month for almost a year and my skin has never looked better. After moving from Ohio to LA my skin freaked out and Mady fixed all that. No little bumps, no uneven skin tone. My skin feels amazing. During my first appointment I fessed up to all the "bad" things I do to my skin: I don't drink enough water, I drink too much coffee, I drink too much wine, etc. Instead of trying to get me to change my life she said that we were going to make my skin strong enough to deal with my life! Another thing I love: she's no nonsense. She doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. She doesn't tolerate customers being late and making her rush. She makes most of her products including her masks (which are amazing). I recommend starting with the bootcamp package and then going once a month after that. You won't be sorry. This woman has changed my life. I first met Mady years ago. I got some facials and maybe bought some products. it was a great experience but I was looking for the impossible: I was looking for an immediate fix to my horrible skin. I jumped around from 3 different dermatologists , probably 7 aestheticians from Beverly Hills to Colorado , and I bought a bunch of prescriptions and various expensive creams. My sister, who lives in Sherman Oaks, and I saw Mady for a number of months. I drove from San Clemente in the early morning hours to be sure I was on time for the appointment. Mady was not respectful of our time. The final straw came when we were kept waiting for over an hour. We left and I wrote her a letter telling her how unprofessional her behavior was. She fired back a response that we had taken money out of her pocket by leaving. Are you kidding? She also was not in the room for very long, just long enough to put on a mask and then remove it.
