I've been with a few banks previously and I always had problems. I've now been with Chase for many years, and 99% of the time, things go smoothly. I'm always greeted with a smile when I arrive and when I leave. The lines are usually very short. The tellers are always friendly. The customer service reps are usually knowlegeable and helpful. Having said this, everybody's experiences are different, but we have had small investments with the investment services division of the bank for years, and we have never made much even during a bull market. We do 100% better on our own. Still, overall, I'm very happy with this branch and rate it 5 stars.

Where do I start.....?…read more Old fashioned style decor and no one cares? I walked in here 3 weeks ago with my daughter to get her a college checking and savings account. Slow service, got helped. Deposit some money into her account and within the next 2 weeks, chase closed her account and send her balance back as a refund check because they couldn't "verify" the two checks I deposited into her account. This is after hours of phone calls from various reps with all different kind of stories. Finally we received the chase refund check so we came back to the branch to open up an account again. We walked in, everyone saw us but no one greeted us, we just stood in the middle of the lobby for about 5 mins-7 mins then a man name Sam (I suppose he's the manager) came and asked if we needed help. We explained the situation to him and he promptly set us up with a rep. The rep was nice but he doesn't seem competent as he had to walk away a couple of times for whatever the reason. What prompted this review was that he actually tried to pass us off to another rep because he said the website wouldn't load. I kindly asked if he can try again or set us up with a different rep first so we don't have to repeat our story again. He sighed secretly, looking annoyed, said "of course" And guess what, it worked almost immediately. Anyways, although I don't blame the branch for Chase's ridiculous reasons of closing her brand new account. I do blame them for their lackluster services and their ability to make us feel unwelcome. I have many accounts with Chase, I really hope they step up and treat their customers better, even if opening up personal accounts doesn't count for their quota..... Update: the rep was slightly nicer at the end so he's earned the extra star.

That was my biggest mistake because as of now a month and a half later, the paperwork has been lost and I just got a call saying that they cannot find the paperwork. Which means a great deal of anxiety on my part as to who has my information with my name, address, phone number, Social Security, etc. What kind of damage am I now going to be experiencing because of this. And even worse than that, they take no accountability for that as they should be at least offering to cover credit monitoring for me I will be looking to withdraw all my monies that I have with this bank that I have been dealing with for over 40 years due to this experience and lack of accountability! I will be looking to report them to some sort of agency outside of Citibank!

At first I declined the offer but as time went by and Marianne asked me if I wanted her to assist me this time I said yes. Marianne was extremely helpful in her guidance and knowledge of my situation. A semi difficult task I'm thinking others would have had trouble with. Arianna and Marianne are the main reasons that this particular TD Bank Excels.

Ended up trying this location as my usual location had noone available to notarize or give…read moremedallion guarantee seals on documents. This location is very large and clean. Has parking in the back but is fairly small parking lot. This location has notarization service but they will not notarize any document that doesn't have a "box" for notarization which means if you need a legal letter notarized this location will refuse to notarize it. Also could not provide a medallion guarantee seal for brokerage asset transfers to Merrill even though I've had a banking relationship with BofA for over 20 years. Locations is probably OK if you don't need notarization of uncommon documents and medallion guarantee of any forms. Chase did it with no issues but with this experience I decided against transferring more assets to their subsidiary Merrill Lynch.

She said that the IT support tea, was unavailable during my visit to the bank, but that she would get to the bottom of the problem and call me back. Today I received a call from the bank with a full explanation of what had transpired at the retailer locations. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick explanation of what had gone wrong at the retail locations. The bank also assured me that if the problem should continue they would issue me a new card free of charge.

The reason for this review is the stellar service I have been getting for the past ten years from the Bayside Branch which is now at 213-03 Northern Blvd, Queens, NY 11361. From the manager to the rest of the workers there I have received wonderful and PERSONAL service. They actually know my name when I call, never had that happen before from a bank. Even though it was not their fault in a recent check order via a third party they quickly fixed the problem for me and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the results. To sum up, they are the best of the best for providing personal help with my banking needs and are always there to lend a hand when needed.
