Such a cute little shop. After we had a late lunch/early dinner at Belle Vie Cafe , we decided to walk around and visit some of the local shops. This one was open and was so adorable and full of fun gifts. I ended up buying a big box of matches for my candles and a funny message gum . Cute clothes and baby plushes but as i was trying on clothes the worker stood outside my dressing room and was watching me. Then after I put the clothes back i went to leave and saw the plushies and i thought one was kale and she ran over behind me again and corrected me and when i sat the doll back (where i had found it) she leaned over me and grabbed it to put it in another spot and after i left she went over a rearranged everything. This whole interacting just was very off putting i dont know why she was following me around, maybe to prevent theft im not really sure but she kept asking to take my clothes from me after i said no and was very pushy. just an uncomfortable and bad experience, she was on my heals the entire time read more

What stands out is the way the store was also able to capture the local character by linking it's distinct character with that of the locals who live in the community. I can see by the display at her register of a book written by an 8-year old Guilford local named MAX, that she has the community well-being at heart. I cannot say I know a guy who would wear apparel from Flutterby. Additionally, light wool winter hats start on the order of $40 which in my book is a $$$$.
