I have never seen so much ugly crap in a consignment store! I wanted to spend money but couldn't find a single thing to buy. Hideous! Not to mention that the prices are outrageous for preowned clothing! They have things that I've seen in Marshall's & TJ Maxx marked up way above what you would pay at those stores brand new. And consigning here is awful. I've brought in beautiful, classic, brand name pieces that they won't take. You'll need a therapist after they reject your items for ridiculous, inconsistent reasons. Today I brought in a blazer to consign that I had bought last week at their Cheshire store. I decided I didn't want to keep it because when I got home I realized it looked a little big on me. I was told they didn't accept that brand name. HELLO, I JUST BOUGHT IT FROM YOU LAST WEEK! And...I saw several items with that brand name, while I was shopping in your store today! Then she told me Cheshire shouldn't have taken it in. Another complaint is that they want you to bring your items in unwrinkled, so I always bring my items in freshly laundered & pressed. However, after they go through my stuff they give me back the unwanted items in a wrinkled heap! (often times in one their dirty laundry baskets) Maybe I should have them sign my contract that I want my clothes returned unwrinkled! Gone are the days when I would come in here & leave with bags of stuff because the prices & selection were so good. I also make very little per item, when I consign, which I'm suspicious of. And if I try to retrieve my unsold items, they are nowhere to be found. They have a sentence in their contract that says they can move items to their other stores. How convenient that we can't track our own stuff & we have no idea if we're getting paid fairly or if the items ever sold! I would not recommend shopping here! You are NOT a boutique Consignment Originals! You're not on Rodeo Drive. You are not Saks 5th Ave or Nordstroms. It's too bad, you used to be great. Buh Bye
