So disappointed. I wasted my whole morning due to the incompetence of the staff answering the…read morephone. Things started so well! I called to see if they would take my mother's insurance for the brace she needs. They looked up her prescription said they didn't accept her insurance, but would bill them. They reviewed the prescription and told me that the MD had not put enough detail and told me what add to be added. I contacted the doc and got the prescription updated. Again I called to make sure the prescription was okay and to make an appointment. Whoever answered the phone again reviewed the prescription and said it was now fine. I asked what it meant that they don't accept the insurance, but will bill. How much might we need to pay, how does that work, etc.? I was assured that it would all be covered. They also told me there was no need for an appointment we could just come in during their normal business hours. Excellent! We picked a time and drove the 35 minutes to get there. When checking in at the desk, we were told this was a custom brace and we needed an appointment! When I balked at that, they ran in the back. After 5-10 minutes of waiting, a woman came out and said the insurance won't pay anything and the brace can cost around $3000 dollars. They apologized, but just kept explaining the insurance rules. I tried to explain that I am not concerned with that, only that I received false info on the phone wasting my entire morning. They still don't seem to understand that they need to train their phone staff.

He trimmed the toe nails, which helped a lot. But I was surprised when no prescription or treatment was made regarding my One big toe that was so pushed upward by the fungus I now have difficulty wearing any of my shoes. Last week, I called for an appointment, only to learn that he is now incorporated with an outfit in Maryland and is only available at the Pantop office specific days of the week. Under the new set up, I was given a 4-page application form asking for about everything under the sun. Much of the information requested had nothing to do with my aching fungus. Even then, I made an appointment. When the caller (probably a robot) left me a reminder about my appointment, her voice was so emphatic when she said "Remember, if you fail to make your appointment without a 24-hr. advance notice, you will be charged $40." The same emphasis was made in the app. form. Next day, I called Dr. Baglio's office and complained about this uncalled for threat. The reply was "Sir, you are not the first one to complain about this. I suggest you call Buck in Maryland who is the one responsible for the message." I called this super Buck, only to leave a message on his phone and asked for him to call me back. He never did. So, out of disgust, I went in person to Dr. Baglio's office on Pantop and cancelled the appointment 3 days in advance.
