I've always wanted a sugar skull tattoo, and I figured with NOLA's history, this was the perfect city to get one done in! Daniel was my artist, and after giving him some ideas, he worked his magic and added some of his own interpretation, and came up with a beautiful sketch! In a few hours, I was ending my memorable first trip to New Orleans with a new, beautiful piece of ink! Daniel is a great artist and a cool guy! She said the design I wanted would be extremely small in that area. We discussed it and I ended up getting the design on my left outer ankle. And I love it. The shop is clean. I mean really clean. I laid down on the table and got comfortable and she was quick and relatively painless. She's very professional. For example, to get the picture in my ankle right, she had me get off the table and stand up in a certain way to get the right angle and look. She had a ton of awesome sketches around. When I emailed her inquiring about a tattoo, she got back to me within 24 hours. There is a $40 deposit to schedule an appointment, just to make sure you will be there. This of course is credited to the cost of your tattoo. Also, Stacey will tattoo cancer survivors nipples back on FOR FREE if they lost them due to the surgery. NEXT DAY: my tattoo looks wonderful! I got a tattoo from Jacqui Rose about a year and a half ago. She was instrumental in helping me design the tattoo and trying to make my image come to life. I would say we worked back and forth on the tattoo for maybe 3 months? Possibly even more? I really appreciated the amount of time she dedicated to my tattoo and I felt like with that extra time, I fell even more in love with the tattoo and its design. (On the same day she also added some stars and moons to my rib tattoo, which I love!) I also love that I got a little bit of her signature when she offered to add a flower to my tattoo and she used a lot of dot work, which I think she is also somewhat known for. Looking at the tattoo now, those are two of my favorite elements of my tattoo! On the day I got my tattoos, I came in by myself and Jacqui was immediately so so nice. The tattoo has a lot of line work and a lot of darkness, so it would have been easy to have slopey lines or to blow out some of the dark areas, but her lines were so so straight and she didn't blow out any of my tattoo. I am really happy with how the tattoo came out; it was fairly quick and pretty painless. Jacqui also had a conversation with me while she was tattooing which made me even more comfortable. The price was really fair for the quality of what she provided. I have since recommended her and her new shop to many of my friends, some of whom have received tattoos from her shop and absolutely loved them. TLDR: Jacqui is an incredible artist with a lot of patience and the prices are very fair for what she provides.

She had such an incredibly calming/relaxing aura about her that made me feel at ease. Ive gotten 10-15 tattoos in the last few years.. And this one really sticks out to me that I left reviews both on here and on Google. I recommended her for anything.
