The dump station is out of order and there's no sign that it is out of order and there is no water and there is no sign that it is out of order. So after hooking up all my dump stuff my hoses and everything I found out after I had everything hooked up that it didn't work they do not notify you I will never spend money at flying J's. read more

HORRIBLE doesn't even begin to describe our experience at Flying J Denny's. We were one of at least four parties waiting for a table, plus one man waiting for a takeout order. I counted at the very least a dozen tables that were cleaned and ready to take customers, but one of the wait staff said that they were getting tables ready and asked us to wait. They offered us the typical "we're understaffed" excuse. We waited for several minutes before walking out and going over to the Arby's across the street. We ate at this Denny's seven years ago for my birthday. My son and I met my parents for my 51st birthday, and the service was wonderful. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was dismal. We will never be meeting here again. read more

Flying J (Pilot) are always great to stop at for fuel, breaks, snacks or souvenirs. They usually have one of the common eating places connected to them and they are generally good. From time to time some need a little TLC, but generally they're ok. If you have a rewards card you can get special offers, and 3¢ off of every gallon of gas at the pumps. I love Flying Js in general since my husband is a truck driver. This one was a little frustrating just because it's our first time driving an rv and just needed a little help. The cashier was very sweet, but didn't know anything about their rv services. The other bad point was all the darn flies!!! So gross. read more

Extremely rude cashier and manager. I purchased nine wings, ordering six of one flavor and three of another because there weren't nine of any flavor that didn't look dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. I also ordered a basket of potato wedges. When I check out, I realize my total is $19 for nine wings and potato wedges. I asked Sierra, the cashier, why they are so expensive and why my $2 coupon in the app didn't apply. She tells me she changed me for 5 wings and the others individually ($2.19 each) since they were a different flavor. I said "That makes no sense. They're all wings. If it's that big of a deal do all 9 the same. Just refund it and charge me for the 9, but I'm not paying $16+ for 9 wings at a truck stop". She is clearly irritated now, and has an attitude with me. She charges me for the french fries again and I informed her she never refunded those. I am not going to pay for them twice. After she removes the french fries from the second purchase (remember, I paid for those 3 minutes earlier), she starts making comments about how she hooked me up and gave me a deal. I said "charging me twice what they should cost is not a deal, and they're all chicken wings. It's not like I got wings and tenders. I got 9 wings which is $10.19". She continued to say something about how they were different because they were different flavors, then after the transaction is completed, I go to walk away and she starts making snarky comments. I said you might want to wait until I'm out of earshot before you start talking crap about me. She said "I don't have to wait on you if you're going to act like that" and walked away. I said, "don't be pissed at me, you're pissed because you rang it up wrong, and I called you out on it". I asked her her manager was who, and was told it was the woman working right beside her, Sandra. I waited for Sandra to finish with her customer and asked her if it's OK with her if her employees are rude to the customers and make snarky remarks, her reply was "I can't pay attention to what she's doing and wait on customers". I said "well I think multitasking is part of being a manager, I don't see how you could not notice what your employee is doing when she's 3 feet away from you." Her reply " so I'm supposed ignore my customers and pay attention to her?" I said "you know what I can see why your employees act like they do, because you let them, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'll just contact corporate", to which she replied, "go for it contact corporate that's great". Darling Sierra went over to the coffee machines by another employee and continue to talk shit about me over there. I drive well over 100,000 miles a year and I am in multiple pilots and flying J's every day. This is by far the most inconsiderate treatment I've ever received in one of the flying J subsidiaries. I am an owner operator who spends more than $40,000 a year with PFJ. This snarky, rude manager and her matching employees are a disgrace to the PFJ name. read more

If i could give 0 stars I would. The male employee with blonde hair and a bun with glasses did not acknowledge me as I was waiting in line to pay. Completely looked past me and told me to stand at the back of the line after already waiting in line. Then proceeded to check out people that came after me. Dude deserves to be fired. read more

Waiting one hour in truxk for shower then when it said I was next I went inside and waited another hour and all showers were empty and no was cleaning when asked they said we are doing something else and gave me a rude response there were also many other people waiting which some decided to leave will not be fueling or coming to this truck stop read more

This is a truck stop, gas station, with great souvenirs, attached to a Denny's restaurant. They sell propane, have mail boxes for both the USPS and UPS. I may have seen a third for fedex but I don't remember. There is newspaper boxes, and ice for sale. They also have the squeegee to clean your windshield after you pump your gas. Plenty of parking... lots of bathroom stalls but very populated. One star down because I think the men's room might have less stalls or they may have some that are broken. I'm assuming because there was a line for the men's room but not for the women's and I haven't seen that before lol maybe everyone just has to poop today! :shrugs: hahah read more

This was a nice surprise. The bathrooms were cleaned and smelled good. The store 'stuff's was varied. Lots of snack choices and the sodas were cold. Prices were pretty good and even a bit lower then other stores of its type. Cashiers were friendly and fast. Nothing like purchasing perishables and then standing in a long line. read more

I feel like it's odd to feel so passionately about a gas station/ travel stop, but I LOVE this flying j. We ended up here at about midnight during a long road trip-- exhausted and sick of staring at the road. This place was the light at the end of the tunnel. Clean bathrooms, laundry facility, showers, huge store, Denny's, cheap gas, friendly staff, and (most importantly for us) a safe place to sleep in our car. We backed our ass up into a parking spot, put up our sun visor, and knocked out in the front seats of our car for the next six hours, completely undisturbed. This review is the for restaurant in the Flying J. This is on behalf of my father and his friend who don't have internet and their English isn't so great. My father and his friend arrived and sat down to dine in, the hostess/cashier immediately told them to get up and leave, as they had to wait to be called. Mind you, the tables were empty and there was no one waiting. They went and waited as they were told, and spent a chunk of time waiting while the hostess/cashier sat down, ate, and drank. She loudly stated she was taking her break, as she had been awake since 5am, which is more than okay. She should be taking a break. However, during this time, my father and his friend along with other customers went un-acknowledged. As other customers came in, they were turned away. Later on, the cook came and announced that they weren't taking customers anymore. This whole ordeal lasted 1 hour, all while my father, his friend, and other customers patiently waited. I understand the staff can be overwhelmed, stressed, and overworked, and they deserve their breaks. But communication goes a long way and could've been nice. If they would've said they were closing early at the beginning, that would've been great. Everyone would've went on their way. But they didn't. It's the miscommunication and misleading information that's the reason for the low review. read more

Lazy lazy lazy workers! We drive these trucks all day and all night so that shelves stay stocked. Get to this truck stop and wanted a cappuccino from the machine. The machine was clogged so I bring it to the attention of the woman working. She huffs! She takes it apart to clean it then suddenly decides she's bored with it and walks off to run the cash register. Mind you, there was already someone running the cash register. If you people hate to help customers, find another line of work! One star is too good for this store. Day after Thanksgiving and this is the service we get! read more

Very clean and well maintained women's restroom. Very little water in the squeegee container and what was there was very dirty to clean the windshield Had to taste three coffees to find one that tasted tolerable and didn't taste like it had been there for hours! No Half and Half for the coffee .. which was really setting the trucker off who was getting coffee the same time I was!! I though I'd entered the "Great Trucker Coffee War of 2011"! I've been to better truck stops than this one ... its saving grace was the clean restroom. read more

I arrived here around 5 AM on my way from Texas to California. This location was more than disgusting. Half of the toilets were clogged and toilet paper was all over the floor. The counters by the fountain sodas were sticky everywhere, and I didn't even want to touch The trash to open it because there were several different unidentifiable substances all over it. I couldn't figure out why this place was so messy when it was so early in the morning and there wasn't another customer until about 15 minutes after I checked out. I bought one of their prepackaged sandwiches thinking I needed something other than snack food to hold me over, when I opened it it was wet inside so the bread was soggy and the meat had a gray tint to it that made me think it probably wasn't safe to eat. I didn't even feel safe feeding it to my dogs. Outside was the same thing. All the garbages were full, the paper towel dispensers were empty, etc. It's a literally the quietest time of the morning and the place is a wreck. This was actually the second location I stopped at on my route because I grew up close to one of these and I loved it. The first location was exactly the same except even the floors in the first one were sticky in several areas and the food on the heaters looked like it been sitting there for several hours. read more

As a bus operator, normally we are given either a discount on food and a drink or are given complimentary food and drinks when we bring in a bus load. I did today but when I selected a small bowl of macaroni and cheese and a coffee (note it was Midnight), I was charged over $6. I asked if food was no longer given complimentary. The reply was they are glad to see me but no offer of complimentary food. At the Pilot travel center also in Lordsburg, they ALWAYS give a very generous discount on food and a free coffee, without even having to ask. Don't have to think very long or hard where I will bring my passengers next time. read more

Horrible customer Service all around from the gas station to dennys. Sat in dennys for 25mins before being acknowledged. Order food and waited 1 hr. Apparently fryers went down but they didn't think they needed to inform anyone till way late. We were told our food was being rushes and when it came out our cheese was not melted, our chicken strips were not hot like they just came out of the fryer. We decided to leave without waiting to fix it and get food from flying j and the manager ruby was helping us and walks away to check on the pizza for us and tells another accociate josie that she is about to leave before she looses her job. Great gas station! Awesome souvenir t shirts! There was a wasp nest in the trash can outside. Be warned!! Gas was super cheap though! Soap in the bathroom is like cinnamon cream cheese, but it did the job. They have every snack imaginable, included jalapeño cheesey hot dogs and a full pizza bar. 10/10 would recommend! read more
