Numerous people left their cars at the pumps & went inside instead of moving(!) Their food options were very appealing; Fatburger, Wetzels, Juice it Up. Just be prepared to stand in another lengthy wait line. Our burgers were delicious but not worth the effort of the logistics at every step. Flying J has Wendy's & fresh packed grab & go. Parking is by the store & pumps are split into two sections so it helps aboid bottlenecking. All in all, we will never be coming back. Flying J's all the way!

In their main shop, there were many packaged grab & go options; sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. Numerous coffee creamer options, tea, etc. Central bathrooms were clean & well stocked.

I am always too late to get their soups at 12-3AM unfortunately (I keep thinking about that pot pie soup to this day!). Their snack and candy aisle is always prepared with some tasty treats. Staff always seem buff and pleasant. Never tried their public restrooms so I can't share how they are here for being such a high traffic stop. At 2am- no teslas at the charging stations so it's a big contrast to during the day when the charging stations are usually a line a few cars back.

I've tried using multiple pumps and when paying with card, the pump will not register the 87 grade when trying to select it. If you pay inside, it will allow the lower grade to be selected. Feels like a bait and switch to me. Oh and BTW, a good 30% of their pumps are always out of order. They no longer have a subway or a kitchen. The only thing they have besides prepackaged snacks are hotdogs. And those are usually overcooked. The restrooms are always dirty and poorly maintained. Do yourself a favor and visit the gas stations on exit 1 or 17/19

I filled a cup thinking it was coffee, realized it was just water, and dumped it into a trash bin. It was an honest mistake. The employee then said, "Anyone who thinks would know to use a drain," and called me "stupid." She also made a gesture with her hand on her head to mock what she had just said. I had walked up to the counter simply to let her know that the coffee machine was only dispensing water. Instead of acknowledging the issue, she chose to insult and mock me. What made the situation even more upsetting is that my grandson, who has autism, was in the car with me at the time. No customer should be treated this way, especially over a simple mistake and while trying to inform staff about a machine that wasn't working properly. I hope management addresses this behavior because it was extremely disrespectful and unacceptable.

There's a grassy area for dogs right behind the string of chargers. The pavement can burn their paws in summer daytime hours, so pick up your dogs and put them on the grass instead of letting them jump out. The grassy area is larger than my picture shows and even has a shade tree in one section. You will probably notice the standard odors of a gas station as well as dog excrement, although the RV dump station might be to blame.

Given the traffic of the truckers and the folks staying at the Best Western, it can be pretty busy. Also the path for cars can be narrow once you come in. The downside are the drivers not paying attention and two near misses for us. So be careful and assume there are some distracted drivers when you enter, as folks race to get back onto the I-10. Quartzite on the other hand, has two dozen plus super-chargers near a Carl Jr and can be serene by comparison.

Having my parents with me finding something quick and convenient is crucial for restroom runs. So here I am, filling the vehicle up while other business is being taken care of. I didn't step into the store, I paid from the pump. I like the fact that there is cleaning solution for you to clean your car windows. The restrooms are located outside of the store in a different building, with parking available not too far away. In the women's restroom there are 5 stalls that's including a handicap stall. The restrooms are clean. It has two sinks, two air dryer and one soap dispenser which was completely full. Really nice to enter a clean restroom. Again, convenient but if you could wait to cross the border which is about 10-15 miles, gas is economical. But if you can't, definitely exit Lovekin and Chevron is on the corner.
