Stopped as we passed through Nephi. The afternoon staff had just begun cleaning when we walked in, but that said, nothing about this place felt clean. The bathrooms were pretty gnarly with toilet paper on the floors and paper towels spilling over the receptacles. The stall doors opened inward, forcing me to waddle backward over the toilet just to get in and close the door. No paper towels to dry my hands with, and my husband said the men's bathrooms weren't much better. There was a small gift section (yay!) with Utah themed keychains, magnets, and shot glasses. There is a section set aside for truck drivers to freshen up. Basic snacks and drinks and about what you would expect for pricing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. read more

**UPDATE** This location wasn't always the best when I first started coming here (cause my husband is a trucker so we stop here often for snacks , to use the bathroom, ect. ) but I have noticed the last couple months they have been improving so much ! The pizza has been delicious. The staff has been friendly. Haven't seen any more flys & their bathrooms are so much cleaner ! Great improvements lately. Definitely makes the quick stop so much more better read more

I was thoroughly enjoying my trip through Utah until I stopped at this Flying J at Nephi, UT. We are traveling pulling a 35 foot travel trailer so I always research Flying J since most have RV pumps that make it easy for RV'ers to pull in and out to fill up. That process stopped today and I will never use another Flying J until I see either a positive response to correct the issue I encountered today or I am contacted by some authority in Flying J management explaining why they exhibit such disregard for their RV customers. We pulled in as usual to the RV pumps and just as I was finishing pumping gas I notice an 18 wheeler pulling in, backing up to the store and blocking my exit. I checked with the driver and asked how long he was going to be there and he informs me 40-45 minutes unloading his delivery. I look around wondering is this the only place he could park and he informs me that is where the store directs him to park. Now I'm stuck, I either wait until this truck is moved or try and back out of the pumps without hitting something and damaging my RV and/or the Flying J facilities. Guess who would be at fault if any damage was done. Fortunately no one had pulled in behind me or next to me so I was able to carefully back out at considerable risk and clear the pumps. Fortunately I wasn't traveling in a motorhome pulling a car or I would have had to unhook the car and try and back out and then rehook or wait for the truck to move. Not acceptable options. Right next to the RV pumps are truck pumps with a lane, not used by trucks, that pulls-up to the same door the delivery driver was using. Seeing this I suggested to the store manager they have the delivery driver park there instead of blocking the RV lanes. Her response was "that was for trucks", since there are no gas pumps there that made no sense to me. I explained to her that she was blocking her RV customers and creating a hazard for the RV'ers and the facility by causing them to have to back out of the pumps. Her response to that was "that's how we do it". Now pissed I said "then that is stupid". I will not apologize for that response because I don't respond well to stupidity. I encourage all RV'ers to avoid the Flying J in Nephi, UT, they don't deserve our business. If they don't fix the problem then I would suggest avoiding Flying J's altogether. There are other businesses to choose from that appreciate their RV customers. read more

Dude, I freaking LOVE this place. It's one of our must-stops to gas up, grab some snacks and pee when we are on the road in Utah. It's not the fanciest place around but you cannot BEAT the snack and drink choices in this place. Really! There's even a Denny's attached if you want to sit down for a quick meal. They obviously cater to truckers so there's lots of healthy and not-so-healthy food options. They have lots of fried food, pre-made sandwiches, salads, fruit, burritos, cheeses, crackers, nuts, popcorn and the usual road food processed stuff / munchies. My low carbing husband loads up on the hard boiled eggs (yep, they have 'em). Snack-wise, if you can't find it here, you don't need it. There is a dizzying array of drink choices too (lots of different coffees, sodas in the fountain, frozen yums, bottled drinks, etc.). Now I know you won't believe me when I tell you this, but my god, their PIZZA is insane. Yes, it is crazy good! Try it, you will be hooked. Ditto for their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Who knew a truck stop could rock at making stuff like that? I seriously look forward to stopping here on road trips and my belly starts to growl when it knows we are close to the Flying J. The bathrooms are always super clean too. Don't know how they manage that. read more

Ready for this review? This is a typical travel center... nothing fancy. Same ole, same ole except it does have a Denny's vs a mom and pop over processed restaurant (sorry but that seems a trend). Fuel prices competitive no over pricing. The moment came when my companion and I were parking... next to what seemed at first like a state trooper in an unmarked Charger cruiser... why .... as my companion said off the top of his head..."car olympics!" A head popping up where it's not meant to be ... seats.... leaned back. Damnit folks, safety first! plus... ya might want to invest in better sun shades. Road trips are fun! read more

Ready for a scathing review? Well, here we go: stopped here for a break from Ogden. Now, most Utahns are friendly folk, however, rural towns have its village idiots. The Dennys staff were wonderful. However, the girl at the Flying J convenience store with the messed up dental work was a prime example of an ignorant fool. Why the rudeness? Is that what the management taught you? Nice one. Idk if you're not used to outside folk who are of different descent, but you're the reason we have extreme leftists having tantrums. Flying JOKE is what the establishment is. Alright, that is all. 5 stars for having enough room for trucks pulling trailers. easy freeway on & off. 3 stars for the retail portion. i've been spoiled by other (perhaps newer) flying J's with twice the retail and food options. the bathrooms are a third of the size and reminds me of those old bathrooms in gas stations from the 60's. i came out wanting a shower & a tetanus shot. read more

The pumps here are fraudulent. They put a $151 security hold on my account at the pump. I used my card and it sent me inside and come to find out pulled $151 out of my account. All in all I left $171 out for $20 worth of gas. It wasn't until I complained to corporate before anything even happened. With prices and the economy only getting worse this is unethical and not okay to do to hard working class people trying to get buy paycheck to paycheck read more

It's my go to place for gas and coffee when I'm traveling. They gave a big selection of coffee and creamers I joined there Fillmore club and my refills are always $1.19 plus 10th one free. The hot deli always has good food and the place is clean plus the restrooms are always clean. read more

That's the most nasty and dirty showers I have been to. The dirty cut nails in a sink, dirty toilet (thought I would vomit), floor is nasty and full of hair and dirt. I wanted to change a shower and called my husband in another shower and he told he had the same situation. So that's a rule, not the exception not to care about customers. Didn't wanna take a picture of all that because some of you guys can eat while reading the reviews and you gonna vomit I promise. The management should do something with that. read more

I just spent about an hour and a half just trying to weigh my load. There was only one truck ahead of me and that went as fast as you would expect because there's always a long line at the counter here (this place needs new management). I pulled up, went in to get my weigh ticket (I use the app). Some very large woman wouldn't print it until I went and parked "in a designated place". THERE ARE NO OPEN "DESIGNATED PLACES" even in reserved spots. There were about 5 trucks in line. Every one of them had to find a place on a nearby street, or somewhere, walk back and stand in that line again. Fortunately, some other cashier printed them for us. I know my trip plan is out the window so I try to get some food (after getting my weigh ticket). THEY ARE OUT OF EVERYTHING! Fortunately, there's a fairly well-run Wendy's there so that didn't take too much time. I'll probably go to Love's from now on. The traffic and help there is a circus. read more

The typical Flying J where service has no value you can be standing in line for hours before they can get somebody out to help you out. I know they're one of the biggest truck stop in the United States but their service sucks ass. Good luck if you stopping here. read more

I always get my fuel at this Flying J. My wife and often eat at the Denny's. All of the Flying J employees are polite and helpful. It is sometimes a busy place so the employees can get overwhelmed. Be patient they will thank you for it. The entire place is always clean inside and out. The servers and staff at Denny's all seem to have the best attitudes. Two people I always look for are Renee night shift at the Flying J and Jared Hodges at Denny's. read more

I don't really need a lot from gas plazas. Flying J's, as long as they're not too gouge-happy (this one was borderline) I tend to like because they usually have some reasonable hot food selections and usually a ton of drinks. This one had a ton of drinks, but the syrup was out on several of them (I had to dump my cup about 4 times because it kept shooting carbonated water only). Inside is kind of cramped and dirty and definitely could be kept up better. Not a ton of options in the area and this could be worse, but it could also be considerably better with just a bit of attention. read more

The bathrooms and showers are never clean when I go here. I went into the restroom and every toilet had poop in or on it. When I told one of the workers they said they were out of cleaning gloves and are not going to have it cleaned for 3 hours till they get more, I could not blame the workers but the boss should make sure they don't runout of cleaning supplies. read more
