This Flying J location always makes for an ok stop. It is not the best, but not bad. It is a typical flying J travel center with the usual convenience items. I have been here a few times and always friendly staff. This visit was for gas and a restroom break. We picked up some not so healthy junk food and drinks too and then back on the road. I use a fleet card at times for work and wanted to mention that if you do, those are prepay inside and not at the pumps. It's always an ordeal as you go in, leave your ID and card, then pump gas, and go back in, etc. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Restrooms are disgusting with urine and fecal matter everywhere and the employees don't seem to care about having Hyde in either because the lady behind the counter had really bad body odor. This place has trash everywhere. If you can, skip it and go somewhere else. The employees and management team are very rude so don't expect food customer service either. SO GROSS! Garbage (in bags) everywhere. The showers are white with soap scum and I stood in 3" of water due to a drainage issue. Now I've seen a lot of truck stops where it's mostly truckers that mess it up, throwing garbage everywhere but this is IN bags spilling all over. The truck parking area is lined with it. It looks like the truckers did their part by putting the garbage in/next to the cans but the employees were just too lazy to pick it up. This is a ONE stop for me. s read more

Henry is a rock star!!! Super great customer service and did it with a great attitude and a big smile!! Got the chance to change my pizza as they were bringing it out. No problem he said. That's what I want to hear after a long week of driving. Not just another no. Sorry!! A real gentle soul and a friendly person is not easy to find in this day and time. I spend a lot of time on the road, and I do love me a good truck stop. But I miss the days when truck stops had individual personalities. Nowadays, they're all just cookie cutter mass produced islands on the highway. This must be a sign that I'm getting old. I miss the old days. That said...this truck stop is clean and the employees are helpful. On the downside, the access to highways 3 and 70 is not the best. It's a cookie cutter truck stop, to be sure. But it's one of the better cookie cutter ones. read more

Restroom are deployable and locks on the restroom stalls don't work and looks like that they haven't been cleaned. No toilet paper etc...

A nice travel plaza with a Subway and a Denny's which was nice for meal options. Subway has a tiny sitting area of three tables that we had no issue finding a seat. The travel plaza had at least two bathrooms and a nice sitting area to watch TV. read more

This is the worst truck stop I have ever been in. I have traveled from Nebraska to PA on both I80 and I70 and this truck was the worst at least 10 tens. I had my kids with me and I wouldn't even change ones diaper. The sink was so disgusting I didn't even want to wash my hands. I would've preferred to let my 3 year old and myself pee in the parking lot it was probably cleaner. He also wanted to eat there. No way no how I took him out of the kick and screaming he was hungry and this place was a disgrace. read more

Good place to stop for gas when traveling. Inside is spacious, lots of items to purchase. Nice restrooms, not your typical gas station restroom. Also has restaurants but just okay in my opinion. Geared toward truck drivers. Lots of parking and good grassy areas for dogs. read more

I have traveled I 70 for many years and have stopped at this place on occasion. The last time was 3 years ago and I swore I would never return because of the poor quality food and filth. Against my better judgement I stopped today and grabbed some coffee and filled up my tank. It was the worst freaking coffee I had ever drank. I was so pissed I threw it out in the parking lot. I had to go inside to prepay with a credit card. Really? What a waste of time, especially when busy and wanting to fill my tank. Apparently a "guesstimate" will have to do. Further, the bathrooms were filthy with zero paper towels in any dispenser... and the music is blaring in the bathroom. No need to yell for help, as it won't be heard due to the bathroom rock concert. It's enough for me to never use any fuel station by this name. read more

Being a truck driver, I am not able to always return to the same store. My wife and I bought a UBS plug for 19.99 at a Flying J in New Mexico, and need to return to exchange for other items. We had the receipt and packaging just like the online return policy says, and within the 30 days for exchange, only had the items for seven days. My wife goes into the store goes to the first counter and asked to exchange the USB plugs for other items instead of the money going back on the card. The clerk was rude and says no, and says have to talk to the Manager. The clerk takes my wife to the Female Manager, whom was not nice at all. My wife says, I just want to exchange my item for others, I have my receipt as required. In a mean tone the Mangers, says go ahead and get your items. While my wife was getting her items the Manager followed her around the store, then says because the USB was bought in New Mexico, she can only put the money back on my card plus it was bought 7 days ago excatly. My wife put the items she had in her hand on the counter 2 smart waters and 2 red bulls, and goes to the truck and get our debit card. My wife goes back in the store, wait in line. When she gets to the register, she tells the Manager that she is being stupid for the way she is handling the transaction, and explains to her there is no rule saying you can't exchange or return at another location, and what sense did it make to put money back on my card when an exchange could have been made. The Manager says to my wife, since you called be stupid, I have the right to refuse your service and reaches toward my wife grabs the two smart water. At that point my wife says, I have the right also to refuse your service too, and push the red bulls that where sitting on the counter. As my wife was leaving the store, the Manager starting running behind her saying that my wife had assaulted her, by throwing a water bottle at her, that hit her arm, and she was calling the police. The Manager, came all the way to my truck taking pictures and being really loud, and threatening to call my company and the police. The Manager then says to me your wife called me stupid and throw a water bottle. The police was called out, and the Officer said the Manager was claiming battery. A second Officer came up and said, we needed to look at the video cameras, and that will determine what happens to my wife. The Officer asked my wife for her ID and her side of the story. About 20 minutes later the other Officer comes out and talk to the other Officer. The Officer that viewed the video cameras, then asked my wife to step over and talk to him to tell him what happened. Then the Officer says, everything you are telling me is what I saw on the camera, and there was nothing showing that my wife had thrown anything at the Manager, he just saw her hands go up in the air as she was turning to leave the store, nothing was in her hands. The Officers, says the Manager still wants to claim battery, but we did find anything we are sending you on your way. I am really considering getting a Lawyer. The Manager called the police on my wife for something she did not do. The truth is, the Manager was upset that my wife was implying that she was being stupid for the way she was handling the transaction. Many times Managers make up their own rules that do not go by their company policies. However, if you are going to call the police on someone you should tell the truth. The female Manager is White and My wife is Black. Many times Black people have gone to jail over White people's lies. read more
