Emily was working the 2nd time I lost them in the car wash. She was who let me know about the automatic function of my wipers! When water hits the windshield, the wipers come on. Emily showed me how to turn the auto off. I 'thought' I'd been good about checking. But.... Last Friday I went through Crew in Greenfield, on my way to Brookville. I noticed on my way that my windshield wipers were gone again. I am back in town today, so I stopped by the Car Wash and Mason was working. He went through all of the windshield wipers and tried to figure out if any of them belonged to my car, which they didn't. Also, there was only one of each. I am missing both. He told me that when they closed tonight, there's another part where things get washed down under the tunnel. He believes that they might be down there and they will check for it. In the meantime, Mason had me go through the Car Wash again after I verified how I thought the auto is to be turned off. He sprayed water on my windshield before I went in. And my windshield wipers did not come on. Therefore, I know for sure how to make sure that the auto setting is turned off. Mason definitely went above and beyond for me, and I am so appreciative. Auto windshield wipers to come on automatically, when your windshield detects water is utterly ridiculous function. And not just because I keep losing my windshield wipers, but it's not hard to flip the lever and turn them on. That's just crazy. What a dumb feature.

They do not make fresh pizzas or have a hot deli food counter though. This is a nice, clean, organized gas station with all the basics, and their fuel prices are about normal with other gas stations. The staff has been friendly almost every time I have been in here. The parking lot is sort of small, but they are not always super busy, so parking usually isn't an issue. Paveys Country Store opened in 2023 . Paveys is a chain popular in eastern central Indiana. This store is fully stocked with groceries, has fresh meats (some local), fresh produce and a deli counter. They have a fried foods counter with chicken, tenderloins, potato wedges and fried mushrooms. People were lined up. They have a little counter in the front of the store where you can eat. I had a fried chicken breast and their deli coleslaw. The breading on the chicken was crispy and fabulous. The meat was a little dry and the coleslaw tasted like run of the mill grocery coleslaw. My husband had the breaded tenderloin, which was phenomenal. The breading was seasoned well and the pork, while thick, was tender and juicy. The $7 sandwich included two large tenderloins with all the fixings. The large bun didn't hold up, but they rarely do on a good tenderloin. It was a 5 star tenderloin. We also picked up some locally made hotdogs. The grocery offers a lot of locally made products, including deer summer sausage. Prices are great, not what you'd expect from a convenience store. Service was a bit indifferent. There was no engaging conversation or smile. But it was late on the day. The store is immaculate inside. There's plenty of close parking and the structure is accessible. You can pick up lottery tickets and there's an ATM in the store.
