NOT QUEER FRIENDLY I'll start by saying my friend and I both got birthday tattoos - the work is very well done, clean lines, fast work. However, the customer service was ABYSMAL. About ten minutes into my tattoo, Noel asked me what the story of my name "Z" was, after explaining I changed it when I came out as non-binary, he launched into a 30 minute ramble about how all of these labels are stupid, I am too young to know my identity, I don't deserve to have my pronouns respected, and other common transphobic rhetoric. Despite my trying to change the subject/make my stance known, he continued to tell me how he knows better because he has "led twice the life I have", and dismissed any attempt I made to have a mature informative discussion. He also claimed that "all these kids are autistic because of the food", as well as other ridiculous claims about neurodivergent people, and used the n-word several times (though he was saying it to prove he's learned not to say it anymore?). During this entire attack on my identity he was actively tattooing my skin, basically telling me I am stupid while putting a permanent tattoo on me. Overall, this experience was staggeringly horrible and I advise all LGBTQ+ people stay away, and the staff of this parlor to take a look at how they are treating their customers. read more

A friend and I came here to get a piercing done early May of 2022. She got her third lobe and I got my industrial. We both have many piercings so we were familiar with how to take care of them in the healing process. I was informed that it would take 6 months for my piercing to heal. Seems like a long time but I was willing to be patient with the healing process because I wanted my industrial pierced for a long time. The "healing" process was unfortunately not what I expected to be. Long after 6 months, the pain kept getting worse and occasionally would start to bleed. I've done everything to keep it clean and even took time out of my day to clean it an extra time. My industrial never healed and I was forced to take it out a year later. My friends piercing also never healed and she also took hers out around the time I did. I can suspect that this place didn't sanitize their piercing tools properly before piercing my friend and I. Now August 2023, I'm still dealing with an ear infection, 4 months after I took out my piercing. Never going back. read more

WORST PLACE EVER TO DO A TATTOO. DO NOT TRUST AKIRA / AK WORK I went to this place to retouch my previous leg tattoo that I had. At first they seemed really friendly ppl but I was so wrong. I meet this new artists named Akira or AK, she said that she can do the work. The day of my appt came and I asked her what colors she is gonna use in my tattoo she said I'm gonna do in between pink and purple because those colors are already there, yeah right. She used a color red and blue to paint the roses without even asked me if I like it or not, I couldn't even see the tattoo until after she finished because I was laying down. I was trusting her with her "job" but I did a big mistake trusting this "artist". I talked to her about my problem about having a red tattoo and she wasn't empathetic or kind at all, she didn't even care, she said that she can change the color in 2 weeks but it's gonna cost me 100$ more, I already paid 320$ for that retouch tattoo. I went the next day to talk to the manager but he didn't care either he cut me off when I was talking to him and he call AK to talk to me. They didn't gave me any solution other than charge me more for something that was AK mistake because she did wherever she wanted in my leg without even ask me once. I love tattoos but this one that she did it in my leg is the worst tattoo ever. I couldn't even say anything the same day of the appt because I was panicking and I explained that to her but again she didn't care at all. They care about money no about their clients. She was so creepy asking me question like to at what gym I go to and what time, what town I live. She posted pictures of my legs on her public Instagram "Akira.art" without even ask me for my permission. I can't speak for tattooing because I've only ever gotten pierced here but I have nothing but positive things to say. I have had a bunch of piercings (including three microdermals) done, and Jay is the best. It's extremely clean, he knows what he's doing, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a good piercer. They're in a small plaza with a few stores (including Dunkin Donuts), so the parking situation is really my only complaint. He has always been friendly, funny, and quick with the process (I think this is a good thing) so you don't have to overthink something that is meant to get done and over with so you can enjoy your new look. When my 10-year old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced with her bestie and her bestie's parents said that using an earring gun or going to a mall jewelry store was out of the question, I found myself in a tattoo parlor for the first time in my life. I walked is in a walk-in this evening and I told the artist what I wanted .He drew it up not asking me about the size came back out with the drawing that did not look at all like I wanted and basically downgraded what I did want.I then showed him a different picture at which point he seemed annoyed to do it again ,he came back out with the picture but again downplayed the Roman numerals ,downplayed the idea of the tattoo downplayed the design of the tattoo. When asked about color he said no for white, no for grey , when asked what he thought I was told whatever I wanted. He then walked away , I was called up by another blonde gentleman who requested payment and for me to sign design and license . I again ,despite btw confirming w the other patrons who were waiting for a friend ,was it me or were they being rude , they confirmed ....okay I asked the blonde gentlemen if not having all the Roman numerals in my date of 2019 ( they only put 19) looked ok , he blew me off by stating it would be too long and when asked about color he said to ask your artist he'll do whatever. GUT FEELING.....Flying tiger tatto artist when did you stop giving a shit about your art your craft your signature. Fuck how the canvas feels let's just charge them and not give a shit what we put on a human being .....when did you stop being artists and become systematic greed driven assholes ....not only do you treat people indifferent , you don't care about your talent , cause what true artist would throw up anything on a walking advertisement??????? I got my first tattoo here, I didn't make an appointment I was able to just walk in. They asked what i wanted and I had showed them a picture of what i wanted. I got a small flower on my hip and they wanted to charge me almost $200 for it. It may have been my first tattoo but I can tell you right now it was not worth almost $200. I also got a rude "why would you show me a picture it's just a rose." As I was getting my tattoo the man who had done it did not speak to me at all the only words he said were "stop laughing or else i'm going to mess up my lines." My tattoo has now healed and yes, he did mess up his lines, the ink looks like it is bleeding out of the leaves in the flower. I like the tattoo but i will have to get it re touched. I asked him for a quote over the phone before I went in and although we later realized the quote he gave me was less expensive than it should've been (my fault, I didn't realize one of the piercings I wanted was a cartilage one), he still charged me what he originally quoted me.
