I'm writing to bring an incident to your attention that occurred on Friday night at your bar. Upon entering the establishment for the first time, I was unexpectedly and inappropriately pushed purposely by one of your servers who was holding a tray. At no point was I being disruptive or in the way. She didn't even say verbally address me. She went straight to physical. -- I had just walked in. As someone who has worked in the service industry for over 10 years, I understand the challenges of the job, but under no circumstances is it acceptable to physically push a customer. The server also never bothered to even apologize for her behavior. I reported it to the manager right after the incident took place. She also was not apologetic for her behavior. read more

Salon x This place was a hoot and Annie. We stopped in because we were downtown for the Winterfest, by the way, that was awesome.. We heard some live music so we wanted to go check it out. The place was pretty busy and the people that work there were fantastic. They have this ice real thing that goes down a long strip of the bar, and if you put your drink on it and it keeps your drink really cold. What a concept. Yes! Space dust on draft, cool bar and nice bartenders. Country music version of all the other restaurants and bars by this owner ( shgrues, barley brothers, legendz, etc) great beer selection and live music. Definitely a great switch up for the regular places we go to drink. read more

Very few options for country music and dancing in Havasu, but the Flying X Saloon has that covered for you (most of the time - occasionally management forgets it's a "Saloon" and books in rock bands). Tuesday line dance lessons followed by the great Steve Wayman. Live country music most nights. Weekends get crowded with tourists and can get rowdy, but the security staff are on point. Regular bar fare food with a limited menu, but well prepared. Decent draft and bottle beer selection and good pour mixed drinks at reasonable prices. Wait and bar staff are excellent and very friendly. It's where the locals go through the week and a hopping touristy place on Friday and Saturday nights. read more

Fun bar with great service! Faith was behind the bar and literally every time my husband and I walked up we were immediately helped by her. She was very sweet. $4 cold beers?! Can't beat that price! They also have Coors Banquet on tap. They have pickle back shots, but the pickle juice was warm and gross. Wouldn't order them again. We did love the live band and dance floor. Street parking, great music, the service is decent. My ONLY complaint is that I ordered very specifically a "cauliflower pizza" BECAUSE I am gluten and wheat intolerant and the waitress brought me a regular pizza. I was unaware until I ate almost an entire piece. I was So sick for almost a week. Flying X NEEDS to train their wait staff and kitchen to take FOOD ALLERGIES VERY SERIOUSLY. Great country western bar with live music in Lake Havasu, AZ. My sister & I had alot of fun learning new line dances.

My husband and I came to the Flying X Saloon for a high school reunion get together. It was not what I was expecting! The place was extremely crowded - not just from the folks attending the get together but from all sorts of people trying to have a fun Friday night. The inside was loud with music blaring from speakers and then a band got on stage and they were even louder. It was extremely hard to have a conversation with anyone and even ordering a drink you are lucky they can hear you. The theme is different (for Havasu) and very country. What really stood out were the patrons at the 'saloon'. From legal drinking age all the way to old-timers who should probably be in bed - all ages in Daisy Dukes and other revealing country themed clothing. Yes, it is Havasu. Yes, I do need to scrub my eyeballs. Overall, I liked the theme, the cute mason jar drinks, and the location isn't bad - but it definitely wasn't a place I'd like to visit again anytime soon. Maybe a bachelorette party would be fun here or if you just want to enjoy the music and drinks. Otherwise, it just wasn't my thing. read more
