Had a chance to check this location out on a short trip to the area. Initially we were puzzled because our friend was adamant that we needed to get there ASAP as they close at 5pm. We were wondering why a bar closed at 5pm, but once you're there, you understand why. It's a very cool concept as it's vet owned and honoring. They're legit in the middle of the desert. Very open concept with live music and the band was great...playing some oldies but goodies. We enjoyed a couple of really tasty drinks from their extensive drink menu, i.e., Mayhem Margarita. And we bought a couple of very cool t-shirts. Staff and service were really great and everyone was very kind and friendly. Had the opportunity to visit the Bunker bar when we were in Lake Havasu. It is a little bit of a drive about a mile and a half off the main road. Your truck will get dirty. When you get there, there is plenty of parking and you can walk up and grab a drink or some food and enjoy the afternoon with the live music. The service here is great. One of the girls had her one year anniversary there. So many nice people so much great music we will be back for sure. read more

Weekend trip to Havasu with a side x side rental with my son. Our plan was to head to Desert Bar, but turns out that's too far. We found the Bunker Bar and it was a good alternate. Decent food and interesting military toys scattered about. read more

Way off the beaten path but that's ok. Food truck food is remarkably good. One man band was also great. Not a lot of shade but it was a beautiful sunny winter day. Plenty of people there enjoying everything. We will be back next time we are near there. read more

Took a detour through the desert offloading in a jeep today and found this really cool bar in the middle of nowhere in Lake Havasu. The bar itself is seasonal opened (Oct-April) which makes sense because there is no lighting. It's out in the desert. It's literally storage containers and open connect boxes put together but it makes for a really cool environment. There was tons of parking for regular cars, side-by-side off-road vehicles. When you walk in there is a stage with live music. The band was great, they had alcohol and food available. The drinks were pretty good. They had a beer for $4/$5 and most of the drinks ranged from $9/$12. The bloody Mary was good so was the margarita. As for the food, we tried a burger, and the chicken and french fries which were cooked perfectly. I would say the only downside is bring cash because the alcohol and food are two different entities and so you had to have separate charges when using credit. 73 Service was great. Everybody seem to be really enjoying themselves. If you're looking for something really cool to do that's outside the box give this one a try. read more

Pretty good food at Mitchs Mess Hall food truck. I had the Philly Cheesesteak with fries. Good flavor but I thought 16 bucks for a food truck was a bit high. High winds so chairs and things were blowing around. Great place and atmosphere. Friendly staff. It would be nice if they carried Betty IPA from Hangar 24. read more

The atmosphere was good, Cassandra Long Band was super as usual, but the food .... against my better judgement I ordered the $18 foot long hot dog and said blister it please. It was very disappointing. It tasted like it was boiled, could not find enough mustard to make it taste good. The $9 hot dog at Desert Bar puts this to shame! read more

We loved this place! It was so fun and cool. They had a surprisingly good selection of drinks, great live music and a food truck. Restrooms were clean and nice. One note, despite being outdoors they do not allow dogs. It's a couple miles down a dirt road, so an suv is recommended but not required. Fun place! read more

Made the really cool dirt road drive to the getting famous Bunker Bar today. I was expecting a crappy unmaintained dirt road like the other famous desert bar in the area, but instead the trip was awesome. Great place for drinks and food. The Bloody Mary's are the bomb, and the garlic fries rocked. Also enjoyed a delicious chicken ranch wrap as well. Band was good and plenty of staff today to help with whatever you may need. All very friendly. My only disappointment was all the small children everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I love kinds, have my own, but I don't bring them to a bar. Great place...enjoy. read more

Super fun outdoor bar with laid back atmosphere and live music! The food was great and there were great choices for beer and cocktails. It's very casual; it's literally a bar in the dirt in the middle of nowhere. Amazing. First come first serve on tables, walk up and order drinks from the bar and food from the food truck. We really enjoyed the gyro and pulled pork sandwich most of all. Craft root beer on tap was a nice touch for the kids and non-drinkers in our group. We also enjoyed the outdoor games. You have to drive on a dirt road to get there so make sure you bring a sturdy car. Lots of people come in their rzrs. Shoes that are easy to walk in (and ones you don't mind getting dirty) are recommended. read more

We have looked forward to the season with the bunker bars open but today was not a great day. We went with a large group of people in side-by-sides through the desert. When we arrived we learned that they did not allow dogs. One of the people in our group brought their dog so they couldn't get in. It's a shame because so many places in Havasu allow dogs. The employee at the front said "it's a liability thing". Then when we decided to leave one of us in our group had a cup of ice and they said that cup of ice was not allowed to leave into the parking lot. That was just too much. This is a fun place and great ambience but maybe you can back off on the overly strict rules just a bit. read more

We've always enjoyed the Bunker Bar for what it is-- a fun kitsch outdoor live music destination-- but were very disappointed to not see Niko's as the food vendor this year. The new truck didn't have the amazing gyros and had run out of pretzels before lunch was even over- the two main things we always look forward to eating. It's a supper spreader for covid. Over cowed. No one wearing masks inside the open fenced in area. You only have to wear a mask to walk through the gate. No six foot distancing.
