Even though it was raining he continued to work on our outdoor gate lock. It was a code lock double sided combo, which isn't an easy install. I contacted this company yesterday to see if they fix commercial doors. The girl I spoke with was very nice and said they did and she could have a tech come to my business at 10am for a $95 trip fee and $95 an hour. I agreed. After she took my info she said the time of arrival could change based on the tech and each location of his route. I understood but did advise my business hours was 9:30am-5pm. She said no problem and they will call me 30 min before the arrival. On Wednesday, I called the company at 11am to see when they may arrive so I can be there with my employee. In case there was any questions. I spoke with Mike and he said he was unsure of arrival time but advised that the tech would be there in plenty of time before we close at 5pm to get work done. Again, he stated the tech will call 30 min prior to arrival. By 3:15pm,I lost faith they were coming. So I called the company again and spoke with Mike. He put me on hold to call the tech Richard who was assigned to my issue to see what's going on. When he got back to me, he said the reason no one came was because they were waiting to speak to me to confirm that their pricing was okay. I stated I already agreed yesterday on the $95 trip fee and $95 per hour. Also stated no one has contacted me all day regarding prices. Even when I called previously. Mike then said price was $95 for the trip and $125 per hour. If I agreed, the tech would come tomorrow. I would never do business with a vompany who doesn't show up,can't communicate correct prices and then tries to raise the price on someone they just no showed. I now wasted an entire day waiting when I could've found another company to correct my door issue. read more

I referred the company I work for to the Flying Locksmiths to have the locks changed and extra keys made. I had met Derrick at a Henderson Chamber event a few months prior to using them and thought we would give them a try. Once we called they were at our location in less than 30 minutes and finished up the job quickly and professionally. We have over 20 employees which we needed new keys made and they had no problem making all the keys for us on site and verified each one worked. Our company is opening a new location and we will be calling them again to change the locks at our new location and get keys made for the employees. The quality of their work was excellent, they quoted us a price over the phone and that is what they charged us, and the locksmith who came out was professional and very good at his job.It was nice to use a Henderson Chamber member for this job since my company is also a Chamber member. I've used flying locksmith a few times. I called to get a quote on re-keying my front door for $100. The locksmith was pleasant and unlocked my door within 3 minutes and rejected took another 7 minutes. He asked me to sign but with no invoice or quote. I agreed to sign since I was quoted $100 over the phone. Once I signed he told me it would be $130. The locksmith should have given the the price before he started the job and I didn't agree or thought it was ethical to sign a blank form without reviewing the terms. I would not refer or use them in the future. Yesterday, the owner stopped by to give me a card with gift certificate along with $30 cash. She was very apologetic. Mike was SO SWEET and wonderful! I am pregnant, and forgetful, locked myself out of my condo while my husband was at work. My lock is especially difficult (I know from previous lock-outs, lol) and Mike was the quickest ever to get into my door! This company is quick to respond and fair with their pricing. I needed a fire proof file cabinet re-keyed and after a week of game playing I called The Flying Locksmiths. Not only where they fast in getting back with me but their quote came back much lower than the other company. They set up the appointment and their tech was on time and professional. About a month after they replaced the lock I had an issue with a drawer not opening and I gave Derrick a call and he had his tech over in under an hour.
