The wonderful owner invited my kid to pet her sweet little dog, chatted us up, recommended some good local things to do, and just generally made us feel like welcomed friends rather than out-of-towners dropping in for the holidays. 10/10 can't wait to go back here and shop some more for nieces and nephews and some vintage for myself the next time we are in the Portland area.

Aside from their clothing, both locations (Biddeford store as well) have many odds and ends, including jewelry that is made by smaller companies, some home goods like blankets, pillows and decorations; hats, shoes and belts, stationary, a few baby clothing items and some good gift items. They were selling little patches that said Boothbay Harbor Historical Society for some cause or other but ran out of shirts. They told me to buy a shirt and bring the patch to this place to have them sew it on. It started to sound complicated but they said that the people at the Harbor Embroidery were really nice. So I ended up going there and they were extremely nice. They said come back in a hour and the work would be done. Well We came back and all the patches and shirts were united.. I'm not sure I'll ever have the opportunity to use their services again, but it was a pleasure dealing with them.

I will say, they were pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon. Most of the clientele were young people getting into thrifting. Respect. Everything was organized well and it was clean. The racks were all well kept. Being from Texas, I have no need for their coats or any of their warmer clothing, which they had a lot of. I was impressed that they had some vintage designer bags available. I know that is a big business right now. I think what they are doing, they are doing well. I am just not their demographic.
