Good luck getting an appointment with any of the dentists at this office. Their staff answers with a "Dental office can you pl-" and just like that you're on hold, permanently! I've waited for 20+ minutes and they don't come back on the line. I've tried calling at different times and different days of the week and its always the same thing. Worst place to go to. My wife had a crown put in and had been having trouble with it ever since. She was put off because he was talking about another patient while putting in her crown. It was rushed. He said for her to make another appointment and he would fix the issue. He never did. He avoided her and had the front desk staff tell her that it is what it is!!! Horrible attitude. I have been going to Dr. David Flynn for over 15 years. He is the best dentist, always looking out for the best way to fix your teeth and also looks for the best way cost wise. Ifell and chipped my front tooth, and he was able to add to it so I didn't have to replace it. That was 5 years ago. Recently my front tooth wouldn't stay on with cement because the post was old. Instead of giving me a bridge, which would of cost over $2,000 he took out the old post and put in a new one, saving my crown. Cost was only $250! He is the best, and I highly recommend him! I've been going to Dr. Flynn's practice for years. I loved that Dr. Flynn was quick and efficient. When Dr. Flynn cut his workload, I started seeing Dr. Papapietro, and she is great. I've had several dental implants done by Dr. Tbiele, he is very professional and did a wonderful job. I was afraid of the dentist and I felt very comfortable here. read more

My girlfriend went here for a cleaning. Dr Flynn spent zero time with her, except to tell her she had to get a root canal for 2 teeth. They refused to give her the cleaning and instead told her to come back another day for the root canal appt. w/ the oral surgeon in this office. Beyond the nightmare that ensued with the root canals - which was not Dr. Flynn, but his associate (temporary cap fell off twice, the final "tooth" looks terrible, and now 4 months later the gum around it is purple) - in a total of 4 appts, Dr. Flynn spent less than 5 minutes with her, and still has not given her a cleaning. His operates his practice like a fast food drive thru line. Time to find a new dentist. read more

I was a long time patient of Dr. Flynn (over 10 years). I saw him in January of 2009 for a routine cleaning. Apparently, there was a problem with my insurance and he did not get paid for the visit. His office never told me about the problem. I went back for more visits in June and July of 2009. Still, his staff did not mention any problems with the insurance and now there were two more visits that he didn't get paid for. Fast forward to the fall of 2013. Dr. Flynn puts the outstanding debt on my credit report. Neither he, nor his debt collector, ever made attempts to contact me. Sad, since I am also a doctor and have an office in the same neighborhood and am easily located with Google. After dozens of phone calls to his office, we figure out the problem but of course after four years the insurance company is saying that they will not pay. So, I decide to pay the bill and Dr. Flynn agrees to take it off my credit report. Six months after paying him, and receiving a letter stating that he will take it off my credit, he has not done so. Because of this, my credit rating is lower and I will pay over 10K more for my recent refinance. Thanks Dr. Flynn. I went to get my teeth cleaned and instead got my wallet cleaned. read more

Sorry some people had bad experiences at this office - but I see Dr. G there and she is absolutely fabulous. She takes her time, she if very calming and soothing. I get super nervous and she was a doll. I actually referred my aunt to the office and my aunt sees Dr. Tish and loves her! From what I gather... The previous reviewer hit the nail on the head- this place is operated like a fast food joint. I saw the orthodontist in the practice for an Invisalign consult. I waited over two hours in the jam packed waiting room for my name to be called. I made my way through the many cubicles of dentist chairs, all filled with patients, to the basement level with even more patients in chairs. I then waited close to 30 minutes in my cubicle for him to see me and he spent about 5 minutes with me, giving me no real information. He then said I needed to get some x-rays because I was due for a check up. My dentist is in Breezy Point, and has still not re-opened since Sandy, so it's been a little while since my last dental exam. I agreed to the x-rays and then sat in the chair waiting for him to look at them for about 20 minutes until I got fed up and showed myself out. This practice has absolutely no respect for anyone's time. I can handle a wait, especially if the doctor is spending time with his patients, but not in this case when the practice is clearly only concerned with maximizing profits. read more

Agree with the other two reviews, Dr flynn does not treat you with any care . Place is run down and it is like a factory, they don't explain anything to you . Take forever to get you in than 2 minutes your out . I'll find someone that appreciates their patient. read more

Don't go to this Dentist. They are horrible when comes to paper work and your insurance. They cost me close to a $1000.00 because they fail to send in my claim on a timely manner. The people who handle the financial part are horrible. If you have a reimbursement plan don't expect to get paid!!!! YOU LIVE AND LEARN. read more

I have been afraid of the dentist ever since I was younger. A few years ago I had to get my wisdom tooth pulled and I found a dentist close to my job that took my insurance. I did not look up any reviews which was a huge mistake, I have never been in so much pain in my life. This past August I started to have a pain in my mouth that was unbearable, ended up being an infection and my wisdom tooth needed to come out. All the horrible memories of the first one came back. My friend recommended that I should go see Dr. Tbeile to get this one out since I had been to the office to see Dr. Papapietro for a cleaning and filling and had no complaints. Best decision I have ever made for a wisdom tooth extraction. To start the staff was incredible, everyone there was so friendly. They assured me I would not have the same feelings as my first experience and they were right. Dr. Tbeile was so kind and gentle I could not believe that the tooth was out and I did not feel a thing. I asked questions they were answered, unlike the last dentist I saw. Dr. Tbeile has changed my feelings about going to the dentist and I am not longer afraid of extractions, as long as he is the one doing it! I recommend going to see him for any wisdom tooth extractions. read more

I had one three-molar root canal operation and one wisdom tooth extraction but I won't recommend anyone to come here. Dr. Acquista is great, Dr. Jamali is so-so, but the billing lady is horrible. I only had a basic insurance which doesn't cover the two operations and paid the bill out-of-pocket right away, BUT ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY CHARGE ME AN ADDITIONAL FEE. Just be careful! read more

DR Flynn has always conducted himself professionally as have others in his office. His admin staff is cordial and efficient, and a lot really depends on the disposition and participation of the patient as to what experience you have. I was disappointed to see the previous review simply because I have been going to see Dr Flynn for several years now and only had one somewhat negative experience out of perhaps 20 visits, which was later rectified, free of charge. He has always spent the appropriate amount of time with me and taken personal responsibility for my care, even if it wasnt always him conducting the work. I dont doubt that there are times when care is less than what is expected, and you should speak up if thats the case! Dr Flynn has always listened to my concerns, and those of my family and friends who see him, and never once dismissed or minimized our thoughts. i do trust him as should you. read more
