We went early in the summer (June) and early in the morning. Great service and they pulled up my son's school, so no problem figuring out what he needed. They had everything ready super quick. The prices are high. Some think the quality is better but I disagree. We had an issue with the khaki pants where the green stripe around the waistband that seems to be a signature green, bled into the fabric. This was after the pants had already been washed multiple times. IE: It occurred a few months after school had started. We washed them in cold and occasionally put them in the dryer. Nothing out of the ordinary. After sending pics and multiple communication the company agreed to send a NEW pair of pants but could not send an alternative size. The pants did not show damage until halfway through the school year. By then, he had grown, plus, I had already bought replacement pants so he had something to wear. They have a "policy" against exchanging items after so many days. I get that, but in certain instances you have to go with common sense. Even thought the pants were damaged and I showed them a receipt where I already purchased new ones. Couple that experience, including both the bleeding and the lack of exchange options, with a $47 price tag per pair, two pair minimum required, and the attitude, I would shop elsewhere. Unfortunately, the school makes this mandatory and performs periodic clothing checks. Don't get me started on that! Good luck. read more

I used to love this store! However, the layout is quite convoluted with five different stations: check-in, non-monogrammed items, monogrammed items, skorts/skirts (directed vaguely to "somewhere over there"), and check-out. This setup would be manageable with a designated person at each station, but there was a lot of cross-over and waiting. Despite the relatively low number of customers in the store, I'm concerned about how chaotic it might become closer to back-to-school season in four weeks. We initially ordered some athletic gear but changed our minds. Apparently, they had already monogrammed it in the back. During checkout, a tall woman with a name tag reading "GM" emerged and loudly called out the name of our school, scolding us in front of everyone for not deciding beforehand. I originally thought Flynn's was there to assist customers, especially new students who may be unfamiliar with the uniform process. I found her behavior highly unprofessional! read more

We visited this store today to get my son uniform for his new school. The associated (Julia, Sarah and Kim) went above and beyond to assist us. Julia found all of our items, recommended sizes, gave us tips to match the colors and she made us feel very welcome to their store. Kim went and found us the blazers and made great recommendations regarding the V-neck pullovers for under the blazer, Sarah was super nice and answered all of our questions and placed an order for the couple of out of stock items. The store was super clean, very well organized and more impirtantly, the best customer service ever. read more

I went to the Fairfax, VA store today to exchange three Adult Large uniform polos today for Adult Medium and was shocked that I was charged extra for each shirt. I inquired why it wouldn't be an even exchange since the quantity and style were the same. I was told there is an upcharge for the Medium size because it is more popular in size than the Large. I've heard of paying more for larger sizes (since more material is used) but the manager explained Flynn O'Hara's policy was they charge more for sizes that are in high demand. This did not seem right to me, but I had no choice but to pay the additional fee so I could get the correct size. read more

Ordered my daughter some required uniform pants items in early August and have not received them as of the November 29. I've asked for updates and have been given dates that have come and gone with the explanation of the items are backordered. Not sure the supply chain issues that have prevented 2 x pairs of girls pants from reaching their destination for almost 4 months. I'd recommend that schools start looking at different and multiple suppliers. Customer service and staff have been respectful and courteous, but in the end, the store has failed to deliver the product in a timely manner. This is a corporate issue. read more

Came in to pick up uniforms for kiddos instead of ordering online. My daughter is tall for her age and is needing new skirts with hems below her knees. They didn't have the extra long available so had to be ordered and shipped to my house. I've forgotten how expensive the uniforms were. Shocked that my tab was 300+ for 3 skirts and 6 polos but it's been 2 years since i was here last. The uniforms are well made with quality materials. My daughter's jumpers still look new after years or wear and tear. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. read more

I wasn't showed all the different clothes options. I wanted to see the dressier options like a jumper and blouses but was told no because the employee said "no one ever buys the jumper and the blouses are more for the jumper than the skirts" I would have like to at least seen them and tried them on my daughter and made the decision myself of buying it or not. The quality of the uniforms provided by Flynn. O'Hara has become complete garbage. Collared shirts with the seams coming loose, sweaters with holes at the seams, and the heels of over 15 pairs of their socks are completely worn out after less than three months of wear. All this would be fine if there was competition to drive prices down rather than buy their greatly overpriced uniform items. Don't even get me started about their ability to keep items in stock. Worse yet, their store leadership has no ability to think independently when problems arise, blaming every issue on corporate. read more

Horrible service year after year. I can't even order online with them any more because they make a mistake EVERY time! It's either the wrong size or wrong item or missing item. When I go in their store there are plenty of employees who are just chit chatting with each other instead of helping customers. And a long line of customers waiting to be helped. Horrible service. Great experience! This was my first time getting uniforms for my child, and I was not looking forward to dragging my little ones through the store. We went on a Tuesday morning around 10:00am during the last week of July. When we walked in we received a list of items based on her school/grade level. All areas of the store were clearly marked with signs, and there were manned stations. We stopped at each station to either try on items for correct sizes or to pick up others that we planned to purchase that day. The fitting rooms were not crowded, so we were able to try everything on rather quickly. We purchased what we needed and noted sizes for other items to order in the future. I assume it gets pretty crowded here just before the start of school, but for us this was a quick and painless experience! read more

The quality of the fleeces here is poor. They are shaped like a boxes. I tried to return a fleece due to poor quality and when I asked what options I have to return, I was told there was none by the store manager. I had washed the fleece which is how I could see it's poor quality. Since our school requires us to purchase the fleece here, I hope to work on getting our account somewhere else. read more
