Extremely disappointed with the clothing quality. Because they hold the exclusive contract for our school's uniform, parents have zero choice but to buy from them. Nearly all the required items are 100% cheap polyester. Having children sit in non-breathable, heat-trapping synthetic fabric for 7+ hours a day is unacceptabl, especially given the prices charged. They need to offer cotton or high-cotton blend options immediately. read more

Horrible company with unaccommodating customer service. This store is suppose to fit young children. Children are constantly growing. The strictness of a return for children's clothes is unacceptable. My daughter grew significantly right before school started and they refused to accept back the skirt. These skirts are $55 individually. Too expensive to not give someone their money back from not even wearing yet. read more

Sent the wrong nursing school uniforms the first time (at a local store!) Since it takes about 4-5 weeks to get anything, I had to wear the wrong uniform to school. I didn;t even realize it until the first day of class.. Then ordered an extra set and I realized I would need it. Busy busy semester and returnable within a year,,,, Long story short, I returned four shirts and pants only to hear ...nothing...nothing...nothing.... I was told they never received anything and I am out a whole bunch'o money. ''Moral of the story?" Never use Flynn O'hara and always get a certified return receipt. read more

I updated my review to 2 stars because I finally was contacted by one of the staff via Yelp message. I still never got a reply from the store's regular customer service email/phone. They located my order and FedEx-ed to me. The order itself was ok (their "Navy" sweater is closer to black but it was still acceptable). As others have said, the items are overpriced for the quality. They REALLY need to get their supply problems and customer service issues fixed. read more

OVERPRICED!!! Wow, do schools get a kick back for sending parents here? Glad I purchased the non-monogrammed items online. I spent over $100 for 2 PE uniforms and 1 cardigan. The PE uniforms are Hanes...yes! No, better than Walmart sweats...just monogrammed (screen print) with your school's logo. They employ teenagers...great! However, teach them proper customer service skills. One parent spent over $500...my ears were in shock. They have a monopoly on the uniform market. Come prepared with patience and a Visa. The process is not smooth and a little time consuming. FYI: thoroughly check the quality of the screen printing and monogramming. My first order was poorly done. read more

I've been coming to Flynn and O'Hara for the last 4 years and what a difference in the last 1-2 years. They have a new store manager named Brittany who has really changed the whole dynamics of the store. She is bright, friendly, smart and organized!! Always a pleasure to see her and she is always so helpful and knowledgeable!! I used to dread coming in the store to get my daughters uniform but now it's so much more pleasant. Although they are expensive and we have to purchase our uniforms here, the purchasing experience is so much better with friendly and helpful staff. I hope Brittany stays for a long time, she's awesome and has really turned the store around! read more

This place is terrible. The customer service leaves so much to be desired. I ordered uniforms over the phone for delivery to the store and after 4 days received a call indicating that they did not have my address correct and could not ship my order.. After the associate apologized for not having the order shipped to the store, she redirected it to where it was supposed to go. I realized that I hadn't received any indication that the uniforms had arrived, so I called the next week and was told that they were shipped to the store and I should have been notified (I was not). I sent my husband to pick up the order since I was traveling and he said they didn't have the order.. So after getting off a plane, I had to call and figure out where they were. I was told they were there, just not in the correct place. We went to the store and there was a big group of young kids hanging out at the counter. No one offered to help me until about 7 minutes of standing there. I had my daughter try the uniforms on and the kilt that I ordered her ( in the same size of the skirt) didn't fit.. I was not told that the sizing for the skirt and kilt differed. I was told by the young sales person, "ooh that's why you're supposed to come in to order"... :-|. I had to return the kilt and place an order for the skirt. I am outraged.. I will be following up with the management of this store and also appealing to the administrators of my daughters school. There should not be a monopoly for a place that has such awful service (and pricing). read more

Becky was and very helpful she had the shoes and neckties I requested upon my arrival. The store is always clean and well stocked and they have a large variety of Bucks in size 11 1/2 the size for my son. They also keep track of your previous purchases which for me makes a lot of sense. read more

I preordered school uniforms online for I store pick up. The uniforms were shipped to the store in less then a week which was great. I got an email saying they were in which was great. I went to the store to pick them up and went to the sign that said prepaid orders the very rude lady behind the counter pointed to the other side of the store and said you need to go over there and get them. So we went over to the other side of the store and there was a group of bins labeled alphabetically so we proceed to find our order and retrieve it. Then the same unhelpful lady rushes across the store and says you can not go in those bins! I said this is where you pointed for us to go. The customer service is awful. The problem is that with some uniforms it is the only place you can get them. I know landsend carries some uniforms. I would encourage folks to shop there first! They have great customer service. The Flynn O'Hara online system is great but the people in the store just do not care! read more

I have had no alternative but to shop here, while sending my five children to private schools. It is a shame that this place seems to have a monopoly on school uniforms. The employees seem annoyed when someone walks in. It is way overpriced. The sizing of the clothes is very inconsistent. I have shorts in three different sizes, which are all labeled youth small. The clothing is overpriced! Also, I showed up at the store at 5:58 PM today (Time was on my cell phone, so definitely was correct). Their store hours were until 6 PM, and they had already locked the door! The employee even saw me, and ignored me. In the last few years, when possible, I have ordered things online. The white polo shirts from Walmart are better quality than the ones from here. I then pay someone to monogram them to comply with school uniform policy. It is still much cheaper than buying the shirts here, and they wash and wear much better. Also, this year, one of my children have outgrown their youth large sweatpants. F and O does not bother to carry either youth extra-large OR adult extra small. So, there is about a 12 inch difference in length from their next size up. I ordered sweatpants from target, which were a fourth of the price, and much nicer. And I paid someone five dollars to put the monogram on them. This place would NEVER be in business if the schools did not dictate that you buy from them! Also, if you place an order online, they charge a separate shipping fee for each child. The most ridiculous policies I have ever seen are at this place. read more

Trying to work with this company has me flabbergasted. The individuals on the phones at their 1-800 number honestly concerned me. When I first called and placed my order, it took a very slow speaking individual about 20 minutes to enter a few things into the system. When I finally received my order, my four scrub bottoms were included but my warm-up jacket and scrub tops were missing. I called the 800 number again to rectify-after a while, I honestly thought I was on one of those prank caller shows. Every time I would reiterate I received the pants but was missing the warm-up jacket and scrub tops I paid for, she would space off while tapping on the computer before stating, "So, you have the warm-up jacket but you need the pants, correct?....." "No, I have the pants but need the jacket and scrub tops." She would then reiterate that I did receive the warm-up jacket and that she would send me my pants. After about 20 times going back and forth and being on the phone for well over 15 minutes, I politely asked her if she was feeling OK and that I needed to speak to a different representative. She rudely placed me on hold for a while and then came back with an attitude, at which time she stated, "I will just send you the pants in the mail today." At this point I'd grown really irritated and said, "for the 10th time, I have the pants!! I need the jacket and the scrub tops!" She huffed and puffed and said she'd ship them and then promptly hung up on me. I will never order from this company or recommend them again. read more
