This was my second attempt at returning a defective pair of boots. I had first tried at the store I…read morepurchased them from in Towson. They were rude and disrespectful to my situation. They offered me $9.99 for a pair of boots that retail at $99.99. Thankfully, the manager at this White Marsh location who's name is Tanisha was very polite and understanding of my situation. She explained why the other location was just offering the $10. But we agreed that how the situation was handled could have been better. She offered to make it right within her authorization. Unfortunately, it's the end of boot season and DSW in general stocks very few women's size 10 anything. So I was unable to find a comparable exchange. However, because of her respect for me and her compassion towards the situation, I did purchase a pair of shoes outright. I had originally been frequenting this location just because I enjoy the shopping center it's in. I had only gone to Towson the one time because it's closer to me. But I will never set foot in the Towson location again and will continue to go to White Marsh where I am respected and appreciated as their customer. Thank you Tanisha and team. I've frequented the area for quite a few years and can say they the businesses that lease here change fairly often. Shopping choices do seem to be catered to a certain [middle age] crowd. The outside lawn area is a really good spot to hang with family and friends; during the warmer seasons they'll have swinging benches and a nighttime concert series with live bands. During the colder seasons, they transform the area into an ice skating rink. If you like farmers/flea markets, stop by early fall mornings - lots of good vendors for jams, candles, pet goods, etc. Lately they have been enforcing the chaperone/minor curfew policy. I think it helps keep the vibe family friendly and makes the place feel secure.

The plus size section was somewhat non existent, but I managed to snag a few tops and a pair of leggings (which I discovered later had a hole in them, but was able to fix thanks ro my sewing skills) *TIP 1 check all merchandise for holes, tears, missing part, etc Finally I made my rounds in each department, found some people not following the directions in th store. 1 STAR -- Defective Shoes and Zero Accountability…read more I completely understand and respect an "All Sales Final" policy. If I bought the wrong size, changed my mind, or simply didn't like the shoes, that would be on me. But this is not a return issue. This is a product failure. I purchased these Nike running shoes from the Nike Factory Store/Outlet in White Marsh, Maryland, on Thursday for approximately $71. Within just two days, the sole began separating from the shoe and is now visibly coming apart. These were essentially brand-new shoes that failed almost immediately. When I called the store to explain what happened, I made it very clear I was not trying to return them due to preference or buyer's remorse. I was reporting a defective product that had already broken down after minimal use. The response I received was that the sale was final, nothing could be done, and I was simply out the $71. That level of response is extremely disappointing. An "All Sales Final" policy should apply to normal customer returns--not to merchandise that appears to be defective right out of the box. A shoe that starts falling apart after two days is not normal wear and tear, and it reflects poorly on both product quality and customer support. I expected significantly better from Nike, both in terms of durability and accountability.

There is Macy's Furniture and Macy's regular store at this mall. Walking in I was never greeted nor spoken to by any associate I walked pass while browsing the furniture selection and their household goods (comforters, bathroom and other decor that is in here). The store seemed organized and clean but the customer service lacked tharlt special smile and greeting.

I was in there yesterday to get some Marc Jacob's perfume for a gift but they unfortunately didn't have the size I was looking for. Macy's is having a friends and family sale that ends tomorrow 6/9 so it made sense to purchase a bigger size for a small price difference with the discount applied. Manoli was wonderful in helping me find a fragrance I was looking for by YSL and put me on to new perfume by Burberry (Her Intense) which smells amazing! What topped it all off is that Melissa also tossed in a free Marc Jacob's bag that was such a nice gesture!

I have been going to this mall since it opened and our other mall closed down. In the beginning…read morethis mall was the best around with the best stores and variety and food court. It has all outdoor parking and there is lighting and "security crew?" that drive around-more on that later. This mall has been through many changes and has survived the pandemic surprisingly well considering the other places that have closed down. That is a plus for them. However they have not been able to get the stores back to fill the openings and the stores there now aren't all encompassing. They are more like a lot of individual stores (all random -for a particular group). They have the big stores Macys, JCPenney, boscovs and the Sears closed. Other stores are, hemp tattoos, hat shops, shoe stores, eateries (not much keto or vegan but can be found), bath shops, I think the mall is so empty because of this and it was a day trip. They have 2 escalators on each end of the mall and an elevator in the center in front of food court. They could use another with strollers & wheelchairs etc. They are handicap accessible and parking isn't too bad. Depends on how far you can walk. The security is a problem for me. When first opened the security was excellent! Now I don't go there anymore at night because there have been many people carjacked, attacked and robbed, women attacked in front of people and "security?" As for the "security people " I had an issue with a carful of people who hit my truck while I was sitting in a parking space. They tried to drive away and I got my phone out and recorded them leaving and laughing as I got out to check my truck. They saw me and came back yelling "you recording us?" I said yes, you hit my truck and drove away and I was in the truck. I got the plate for police. They came at me as I got in my truck. I saw "security " and waved them over to my dismay they were not helping me but cheering the people on!! I was on phone with local police at that point and I told them I didn't feel safe and that the "security " weren't there to help. They told me they know, it's a problem and they (police) don't usually respond to calls from people for assistance bc of the security people ". I got his name and the rest and went on to the police station by my house. They listened. My biggest concern here is everyone safety. 1/5 for safety The deals are great at the big stores like Macy, Boscovs and JCPenney. I did score big deals in boscovs. From clothing, house wares, holiday gifts and decorations, jewelry, and other unique coastal items. Overall I recommend the mall but beware this time of year when it gets dark early! I think if you go during the day you will be fine and check out the deals in boscovs and Macys. I didn't notice alot of holiday decorations up in the mall but they were pretty decorative in the stores. Cleanliness 3/5 Parking 4/5 -handicap accessible Restrooms-2/5 hit or miss whether you can find a clean one. Variety of stores 3/5 Happy shopping
