I'm reviewing the townhouse (guest house/overnight lodging) as well as the pub. This was a really comfortable spot, in a quiet but interesting London neighborhood. Quick walk to Ravenscourt Underground station. The guest rooms are on the top floor(s?) of the building, not large but well appointed, comfortable bed, quiet, and a really great shower and big fluffy towels.
the breakfast was very good; high quality food and nicely prepared.
The room was warm (not drafty at all), and the duvet is super-toasty. (wait is that draughty? I am totally American!!) Most of the time in London, that will be quite a good thing! On the hottest days of the year it might get too warm for some people. I always forget to ask for a lightweight blanket on hot days (until I'm actually going to sleep when it's too late to bother anyone), so I might suggest offering as an option when people check in.
overall excellent value for the money. read more
