I was fortunate to meet a pretty blonde dripping in Chanel (it's Harrods). We kept each other company while sipping champagne and nibbling on small bites. Their small bites are very nice. He closed the door around 10pm, whisked around trying to rush the clean-up process, and kept whispering things to the bartender. He killed the atmosphere of the place. Trying to get people to leave in order to save money is only going to get you poor recommendations and results in the long-run.

BUT all that said...you KNOW it is going to be expensive. You can still be budget conscious here, if you know what you are going in to. And what you are really here for is the view, and you GET IT. You may not get a window seat, but if you are nice and patient, if one opens up they may be able to move you over there. But you will still be able to get close to the windows for views and photos no matter where you are seated. It seems to be a requirement that all servers be non-native English speakers who are unusually attractive and must wear pants so tight you wonder how they are able to walk in them. I'm not complaining though! It was the smallest and most expensive restaurant experience of our London trip. But it was also one of the most memorable and most fun.
