She was able to see and value the unique and wonderful man he is with a humane, compassionate witnessing that saw 'into his life' beyond his current medical status. Still, this did not cloud her objectivity of care and she maintained her ability to quickly triage medical needs as priority as soon as they emerged. There is genuine concern for patients. I have even been called unsolicited after their work hours just to check and see how I was doing after a procedure. Dr De La Rosa really seems to enjoy her patients and spends time getting to know them.
