Here is where I have issues ... how they cut the fabric. They have a system where they cut exactly the amount you ask for. It an millimetre more. Some staff cut crooked which is what happened to me. I pointed out that her cut was crooked. She apologized and re-measured. Sure enough she was off by a few inches on one side because she cut crooked. So I said that I'll still take the piece but can I have a discount? She asked her manager and basically the answer was no. I still took the fabric, I suppose I could have asked for another piece to be cut (unfortunately I'm a people pleaser) but I bought the fabric piece as is. I felt bad to ask for another piece to be cut. There were people in line etc. On my drive home I became distraught about it thinking they could have given me a small discount and I regretted not asking for a new piece to be cut.

I was impressed with the assortment of garment fabrics in a wide variety of tasteful colors, and most of them were in natural fibers. I'm not a quilter, but they had a really cute patterned cotton selection, too. A few mannequins displayed clothing pieces that were labeled with the sewing pattern and type of fabric used, which really helped me get a sense of what to pick for my own project. Staff were friendly and helpful, but also let me browse in silence for a long time until I was ready to ask questions. Pricing was on-par with most independent fabric shops, and I appreciated that the prices were given in both per meters and yards!

She's been here many times in the past, but it was all new to me. This is definitely the kind of place to go to get fabrics or patterns in any color, pattern, material or aesthetic. I really liked how so many of thier clothing patterns came in large sizes for larger people. And along with all the bolts of fabrics, they also had all sorts of sewing tools and accessories and embellishments, too. This would be a fabulous place to go to for inspiration, or to get advice from the super knowledgeable ladies who work here. I noticed, too, that they have an area with sewing machines, and they offer classes, to make various projects. How cool is that!

Called within a few days and was told it will soften up, just walk on it for a while this is normal ! NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES . What's funny as I was loading it it didn't look like the floor model and was told it was the same but different color. So it's been over a month and hours of walking on it like they said to do and no difference to the rock hard product from the day we got it. So I guess you get WHERE you buy from. We went to three different stores…read moreand finally found a mattress we both loved, a Serta iComfort, but it was not cheap and was going to set us back almost $3000. My wifes sister had told her we should check Mr Liquidator but it was too far for us to drive since we live in Vancouver. That said, we decided to drive out there because $3000 is a lot of money, and man are we glad we did. Not only did they have three different iComfort models on display, but they had a massive selection of Beautyrest and Serta for us to try. Our $3000 iComfort was $1799 at Mr Liquidator. But we didnt buy that mattress. We bought a Serta Masterpiece that is like floating on clouds for $800. And Kris the salesman was amazing and super easy to deal with, not pushy at all. We highly recommend this store!
