The procedure goes smoothly, depending on your chosen service (membership) and how busy it gets. This location is a soft cloth car wash tunnel where the vehicle goes through while the machine cleans for you. This place does the job, and the car looks great, as I anticipate. I've had no issues and am thrilled to use this location for my convenience. Some other locations offer a 24-hour automatic and self-serve car wash, while this location does not. Nice people, friendly service, Deceptive business practices. BUYER BEWARE! Maybe it's my fault - the adage "if it's too good to be true..." I signed up for what I thought was a one time monthly membership at $12.95, just simple wash, nothing fancy. Only to be surprised by a $25.95 charge on my account the following month! At no point was I told this was a discounted rate or that it was a recurring monthly fee. When I called I was refused a refund even though I no longer have the vehicle (or any other) and haven't used the service in over 10 days. I was told because I didn't cancel I was charged a full "membership" fee. Nonsense! It states "No contract or cancellation fee"! I was asked if I read the pamphlet, which I never received or if I didn't notice the signs all around the place. No, I listened to the rep "selling" me a service that said it was good for a month, PERIOD! What Foam & Wash fails to realize is that they are attached to a gas station and convenience store which will now lose my business going forward. All because of deceptive business practices and the inability to refund $26! read more

Loving the $9.99 unlimited wash for a month plus free vacuum and with 2 brand new 2022 Hyundai's it's a real blessing. Staff is great, very respectful and you don't see that much these days. Unfortunately with this present economy and a lame president we can't afford $49 for the 2 cars. We will becoming periodically over time. Foam & Wash near the mall is a great business and never disappoints. I decided to sign up for the Unlimited plan for both our vehicles because it's a good deal and always impresses. I have a truck and it easily fits in the tunnel with no problems. The staff is friendly and has always been helpful if I had any questions. Aside from the wash being amazing, making my paint shine for days, I thoroughly enjoy the soft cloth drying. This feature alone saves me the 20 minutes it'd normally take me to dry the entire truck. I like to do things myself to save a few $ When I added the cost of the oil, filter, time to get everything and perform the oil change, properly dispose of the waste oil, laundry, ruining a bunch of clothes, oil stains on the driveway, scrapes, burns, smelly hands, and the real possibility the car will slip off the jack and kill me; I am just letting someone else do it. These folks are generally fast and friendly. Never had any trouble here. The waiting area is attached to a Mobil "On the Run" gas station so boredom snacks are not a problem. Wednesdays are "wacky" with $5 off, includes a free drink while you wait, and a basic carwash good anytime. They do try to upsell you to service your transmission fluid, flush a bunch of things I assume need flushing from time to time, shine your valve stems, rotate your gas cap, whatever; hey they gotta make a buck while it's on the lift. read more

As they say in the real estate end, location is everything, that is all they have. They charge big $ for only the top 1.2 of car to get beat up with the brushes and can't dry off the car. They used to allow 2 cloths to dry car now they are so cheap their is none at there detail bar! I have seen hispanic women on their knees inside the detail area with no knee pads to protect from injury, I am not sure if Marshall still owns this place but whoever it is is a slave driver. This is the only place I go for my oil change. How can you go wrong? You get a free beverage and free car wash. You can sit inside and watch tv or go outside and sit on bench on a nice day. Joseph Langella is always helpful and also told me my right sway bar was bad in my car-he showed me when he drove my car out. I was driving the car for a while like that and I wasn't sure what was wrong and kinda ignored it. Thank god he told me because I had it looked at by Patriot Automotive and Brian said I could not drive it and he fixed it right then and there. Great automated car wash. They prescrub extra dirty spots, so I haven't ever had to go back through. The service is fast, so even if the line is long, you move through fairly quickly. Plenty of do-it-yourself interior cleaning supplies just outside the exit. I haven't used their oil service. read more

I went for an oil change which they did ok. The guy comes out and tells me that I need an antifreeze flush. He says,"because of the mileage." I asked, "what did it tested at?" He say, "because of the mileage." I again what did it test at? He says, "we'll I didn't actually test it, but I can." He comes out with a tester and tells me my antifreeze is flat. It has no antifreeze protection at all. This seems odd to me so I thank him and say I will do it next time. I drove to Walmart and bought a $4.00 tester. My antifreeze is good to -30 below. They were just lying to up sell an $89 antifreeze job. read more

Car wash is great, service and management is not. Garaged my car for the winter, cancelled my monthly subscription for the season. But then was billed again for another month. They would not refund me. They offered a "free" month but only after I purchased another subscription. Absolutely terrible customer service. Made me pay for their negligence. We were having our car serviced at the nearby Subaru dealer and asked the dealer if they had any products to get a substance off of our car that had been left on it in a parking garage. We had tried putting the car through a car wash a couple of times without success and the Subaru dealer suggested that we go to Foam & Wash to see if they had any ideas for getting this substance off of the car. We parked in the front of the Foam and Wash and went to the office to see if they sold any cleaning products. We were met by the manager Mark Santivenere who asked us what we were looking for and we explained our substance issue to him. Mark suggested that he come out front to the parking area and take a look at the car. Mark came right out and took a look at the car and then to our surprise offered us a free car wash to see if his equipment could get the stuff off of the car. (I think he took it as a challenge of some sort). While the substance did not come off, Mark's generous and magnamimous offer made a loyal customer out of us. He suggested that we go to another Foam & Wash that has a detail shop to see if they had any ideas (which we have not yet done.) Although we left Foam & Wash without a clear car, we felt the attention given to us and the treatment was far and above what I would have expected and I will certainly be back. read more

I was quoted ~$21 for tire rotations by a young woman who had seen me with my vehicle outside and told me where to park. They are no nonsense - no paperwork involved which was nice. I was told 3 cars were ahead of me with at least 1 hr wait. That was fine. I gave her my cell # and asked if she would call me as I would leave my car there and step out for errands. She said ok. 1.5 - 2 hrs later, I called and asked if my tire rotation was done. A mechanic answered the phone, quite unprofessionally "what's up? What do you want?" I asked whether my vehicle was finished to which he said "it's been done a while ago". I didn't bother saying anything further after that, but in my mind I did expect a call back which I never got - no missed calls nor voice mails. To my disappointment I checked my tires & the rotation WAS done, but incorrectly. (I had marked my tires RF, LF, RR, RL on the tires & saw they had used a rear forward cross configuration which is incorrect for my particular 4W-AWD vehicle. I brought this up to the attention of the front desk, but Amber (another female front desk person) said the rotation was done & was going to dismiss me. The mechanic that did the rotation (Claude) came to the front desk. I explained to Claude that my Acura 4W-AWD recommends a front to rear criss-cross and the rear tires forward. Claude rudely told me that Subaru recommends 4WD to have the rear cross rotation which he did for my vehicle. I told him that my vehicle is clearly not a Subaru and is an Acura. He again told me, well, Subaru recommends this and this is what he did for my car. I told him what does a Subaru have to do with my Acura 4WD??? These are specifications made by the dealer and not by me nor by Subaru. He told me that if I had wanted a specific tire rotation configuration, I should have said so in the first place. I was livid about that comment but let it go for the sake of diplomacy. Claude got my vehicle & started working on it again. I watched him from outside the building and thank goodness I did! He was going to re-rotate the tires back to their original position instead!!! I asked him his rationale for that since he had already done the 1st rotation incorrectly (rear forward cross) and now doing a second rotation his method would only put the tires back to their original position. I told him where the tires should go based on the markings I had placed on the tires which I showed him. He later took a phone call break. Another mechanic comes out and wonders whether my vehicle is ready to be put back together. Thank goodness again I was there to tell him the tires still were not rotated. I showed him the sharpie markings on my tires. He told me that I should have written them instead on the silver hubcaps instead?!? I told him why would I do that and ruin the look of my vehicle with black sharpie lettering on the silver caps just so we can all see it from afar? The whole point of writing it on the wheel is that it is black on black and less conspicuous and doesn't ruin the aesthetics of the car. Anyway, I helped this mechanic figure out what wheel goes where showing him the lettering on the wheels and he was able to follow it. Claude came back and both mechanics proceeded to put my tires back on the vehicle. I am so glad I marked the tires! I didn't think I needed to tell professional mechanics what the proper tire rotation configuration should be for a particular car. They treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about, but I showed them Acura's web site with proper tire rotation configuration. I received an apology from Claude afterwards which was cool and calmed things down. However Amber Hunt at the front desk rang me for ~ $31. I asked her why a $10 difference from what I was originally told. Amber said my vehicle is a truck. I told her it's a compact SUV and not a truck and besides, the previous cashier who had seen my vehicle earlier quoted me $21 for the rotation. I told her that I don't mind paying $31 but they should get their facts straight and when I was told a price BEFORE the work started, they should honor that especially since the previous girl saw my vehicle outside and still quoted me $21. I paid the ~$31 highly disappointed about my entire experience. Amber never once apologized about the whole rotation situation nor her truck comment. Again I was made to feel like I was the one who did something wrong when clearly the business is not being run smoothly. Though initially upset by the rotation issue, Claude admitted his fault and showed willingness to adjust. Amber on the other hand was stoic & never once apologized to me. Too bad as I had wanted to like this place as I have gotten car washes here before and thought it would be convenient to have the rotation done here as well. BEWARE!!! Not a great place to do business. I've had a couple bad experiences with Foam & Wash. First was at the Fishkill location. I was told my differential oil needed to be changed while there for an oil change. I was told the differential oil 'stinks'. I don't know how many people they sucker into differential oil changes, but most differentials use gear oil. Gear oil for those that don't know smells terrible even when new. The recommended differential oil change for my vehicle is every 60,000 miles. It had already been changed less than 5000 miles before Foam & Wash tried to tell me it needed changed. My next visit was for a car wash at the Wappingers Falls location. I have a roof rack and the car wash did not clean the roof. I went back around and told the attendant that the roof was filthy and was told that because of the roof rack the equipment would not wash it. I instructed him on what he needed to do to get the roof clean, which was to use the brush they pre-clean the rear of the car on the roof. Rather than comply, he instead chose to argue with me and give me attitude. He did run me through again after spraying the roof with soap, but he would not brush it. The results, while slightly better, were still not acceptable. read more

Gas is a little higher than at some other local stations but I stick with Mobil for my new-ish car and my debit card combined with my Plenti card saves some money on each fill-up. I also go the car wash weekly and the guys there are very nice and do a good job. read more

I have used this location for 10 years. This is my second horrible experience in a row and I'm afraid I may never return. Arrived to foam and wash with one car in the bay. I needed oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Took 2 hours....last time took 2.5 hours without the inspection! Upon pulling up I asked them nor to overfill my tires as the always do. Eventually I go to check out and the tell me they filled my tires to 40 psi when they're supposed to be at 33 psi... And it's summer! Safety issue! My tires could have blown when I was on the highway as they warmed up. Then I decided to use the car wash today, thankfully, because apparently they were supposed to give me a loyalty card that has the car wash on it....nope. Poor guy had to run over and confirm that I just paid for an oil change. Then I notice my return sticker was 2500 miles off. Then I leave and notice that the inspection guy was too lazy to clean off the old glue before applying the new sticker. Had to go back. So now than you foam and wash fit eating another 2.5 hours of my day. The manager offered me a soda for my troubles . A free car wash would have been a better gesture for next visit . The service has really gone downhill! Gonna try another place next time! read more
