I just wish they gave you more time for pick up. I had to wait 3 months, and they gave me 3 days. Don't choose delivery unless you're all for the convenience. They charge based on how expensive your order is. My sectional was over $2000 and they wanted $270 for delivery...pass. I rented a uhaul and picked it up no problem. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when I went into the store to checkout counter stools. I found some that I liked but went home to make sure that's what I wanted. I ordered them online the next day. Then I got a text saying I could call about my order details. I called (this was Sunday) and they told me I could pickup anytime next week Monday after 2pm. I went there that next week Monday at 3pm to pick them up and they told me the stools weren't there and that they aren't even in the truck yet. I told them that someone over the phone told me I could get them today. She said no, you'll get a text saying they're ready for pickup and have to schedule a time. I was real irritated. Waste of my time. Blew off 2 separate plans to go do that after work. Then of course 2 days later is when I get that text. I went back in there, pickup was no issue. We got home and had to assemble the chair legs etc and one of the legs was missing a "foot". It sucked but we had a quick solution. Then I notice the feet are scratching my floor so bad. So... we pried all the feet out of the legs and put pads on instead. Problem solved. I rate a 3 because the stuff I've bought from them is nice quality- I love both the stools and sectional. But the foot issue with the stool really irked me and so did the pickup miscommunication. I plan to order a new area rug from them too soon so I hope I don't have any more issues.

I paid the $100 for delivery and the day before delivery I was told it was not ready and I had to schedule out another 1-2 weeks. I requested a refund to my delivery fee as their part of the deal was not upheld. I was told to call customer service where they went back and fourth with me for 20 minutes saying all they could give me was $23 off. I've never dealt with such poor customer service.

I went to the store in early February looking for the firmest mattress money could buy, and the store manager, Shah, pointed me to the Stearns and Foster "Adele" model. Did some quick research from my iPhone while in the store, and found a better price on 1-800-Mattress.com, and Shah agreed to beat it by matching the price and waiving his delivery fee. (Side note: It's not easy to price shop mattresses. The big mattress makers like Stearns and Foster assign a different name to the same mattress at each retailer, to prevent you from comparing mattresses in an apples-to-apples fashion. So the "Adele" model that I wanted might be called Pauline or Maxine at another store. Apparently Stearns and Foster doesn't believe in capitalism.) I confidently strut out of the store, excited to tell my girlfriend we are getting a new ultra-firm mattress, and that our back pain would soon be no more. Boy was I wrong. The mattress was to be delivered that weekend. The day before delivery, Brian, another store employee, called me to inform me there was a mixup at the warehouse and the mattress wouldn't be delivered that day. He said it could be delivered two days later instead. I acknowledged and was still a happy customer. He calls me back later that day to leave a message saying: "Oops, I made a mistake. Our delivery company doesn't go as far north as you are on Sundays, so we can't deliver to you then." Days go by and I hear nothing further as to when the mattress will be delivered. Just as I'm about to call and cancel the order, Shah calls, apologizes profusely, and offers us a discount and some free pillows to keep my business. I agree, and the delivery date is scheduled again for a week later. The delivery day arrives, and Shah calls again, this time saying the delivery has been cancelled due to inclement weather. He offers another discount in order to keep my business, and once again, I foolishly agree. Delivery is re-scheduled for a few days later, with a window of 5PM to 9PM. It's now he evening of our highly anticipated mattress arrival...we're excitedly buzzing about the house, dreaming of...well, the sweet dreams we're going to have on our new ultra-firm mattress. 6PM, then 7PM, then 8PM, then 9PM, then 10PM, and no phone call and no sign of the mattress. The next morning I'm fuming, and as soon as the store opens, I call, and am greeted by Dan. I explain to Dan that a mattress that was supposed to be delivered last night failed to show, and there was no news regarding any local mattress nappings. Dan's response "Umm, okayy, let me take your number down and get someone to call you back, because I'm pretty useless." I wait a few hours, and to my utter outright shock (sarcasm), nobody calls me back. I call again. Brian answers, because Shah is apparently on vacation. Since Useless Dan obviously didn't communicate my issue to Brian, I repeat the entire story to Brian. Not only is Brian unaware that a delivery was scheduled to my house the prior night, he is also unaware of any delivery failures. He does, however, promise that he'll look into it and get back to me. An hour later, Brian calls saying that the prior night's delivery failure was due to the delivery company not being able to find a box for the mattress. WOW. Imagine your pizza delivery company canceling your order telling you "Sorry sir, we don't have a box for your pizza, and our delivery guy gets hives if he makes bare skin contact with pizza crust." Brian offers to have the mattress delivered that night. I tell him that at this point, I expect the mattress for free. Brian explains that he doesn't have the power to do that for me, but he'll have the district manager call me to discuss the matter. The mattress did arrive that evening, but no phone call was ever received from the district manager.

That's what I got from him in our conversation and that's why I bought a mattress from him. In addition, he worked with me in regard to my budget and didn't try to upsell or pressure me at all, even when I thought that I needed a mattress for more. I think that I got exactly the right mattress and didn't feel, in the slightest, ripped-off etc. This is why I would recommend to others MF and Ben, in particular. The other salesmen may be equally as good, but my experience was with Ben. I went across the street to Steinhafel's and I will admit, the salesman there also gave me a good price and didn't try to jerk me around or upsell me in regard to finding the right mattress for me. He wasn't quite as personable though and when I called Ben to discuss the mattress again, he closed the deal for me. Now, on the delivery side is where I would say MF needs to improve. The delivery side needs to communicate much better with the sales staff. I really felt left in the dark, as to when the mattress would actually arrive at the store for pick-up on the day that I was told it would. It was almost like, it would be at the store for pick-up whenever was convenient for the driver. That is why I am lowering my overall rating to 3 Stars.

There are pieces that definitely cover style, comfort and durability. However, it's difficult to find a piece that has everything within the budget you may have set for yourself. That being said, there are plenty of options for those who have a little or a lot to spend. And while I didn't find a sofa that spoke to me at that time, I found myself here again, a few years later, looking for a mattress. And this time I did give them all my money. There was a very patient gentleman who put up with me for at least an hour while I tried all the mattresses that fit my criteria, and then while I waffled between my two favorites. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He didn't steer me directly to the most expensive mattress, I found that myself. However it's not the one I chose. I picked the second most expensive one lol I hate shopping, my back chronically hurts from an injury, and the mattress I liked the best alleviated some of that pain. The checkout process was easy. I qualified for a credit card I didn't need, but it allows me to pay off the purchase at my leisure instead of immediately. The delivery was great too. After a couple weeks we had a call to schedule, followed up on the morning of, received a text when they were on the way, and after the delivery was completed. The gentlemen who removed the old mattress set and installed the new one were very professional. I work from home and they barely made a sound. They were respectful of my property and quick. I didn't feel the need to shop around, most places have the same stock and comparable prices. I like BiltRite and was happy with my experience. The mattress has been a lifesaver for me as I don't wake up in intense pain every morning. I find that my experiences over almost 20 years with this store have been pleasant and no pressure. And the fact that I'm not here every other year to replace something is a testament to quality which i appreciate.

I ordered the mattress and for the price of the box spring was going to get an adjustable base (top only) for the same price. The day before delivery, I called and changed my mind and wanted the box springs instead. They were accommodating and I knew it could have changed my delivery. My thought again was making the right decision. I was very pleased with the delivery guys, the removal of my mattress and now happy with my bed!

This mattress has a separate foam topper over the box springs which I love because it is very easy to rotate or flip the topper. Recently the zipper on the topper separated while I was flipping it. Stopped in at the Racine store with a picture. The store manager Jason was super helpful and scheduled a service call. Great communication on when they would be out and Isaac and Brice arrived right on time. They were able to fix the problem here, but there was no question at all that the problem would be fixed even if it required taking it back to the Greenfield store where the mattress was made. When I stopped in at the Racine store Jason noticed that we had never had a comfort adjustment and asked if we also wanted that. We didn't because the mattress has been perfect from the first night, but it was nice to have the question asked and see a company stand behind their product years after the sale.

One mattress we looked at was a Nectar, and she said it wasn't good and was "basically for college students only." When we laid down on it, it wasn't bad. But after getting such a bad feeling talking to her, we went to a WG&R store and laid down on another Nectar mattress and it was amazing. They clearly don't highlight those things in her store. We asked about another brand of mattress the store carries, but they didn't have any for us to try. She said they were garbage, so she didn't want to have them in her store, and tried to tell us that no matter what reviews we read about online, her information was better and more accurate because it was based on science and data, not just opinions, and she doesn't sell mattresses that aren't good. Basically, if she doesn't like a mattress, it must be bad and why would anyone else want it. She's right, you're wrong. She's an expert, you're an idiot. Not a good experience.
